This nightmare has been the BEST Blessing of the millennium ‼ Trying to find a repair shop on a Holiday, a thousand miles from "Home," being warned NOT to drive my Precious Lincoln by all internet informatics- absolute outlook being gloomy; I woke New Year's Day searching, being told (when I DID find an open shop) that my MKT needed dealership care- I reached out to Premier Automotive Specialists..... My Nightmare immediately turned into a dream come true. Josh was confident that THEY could take great care with my car anything and everything would be just fine. They offered towing if necessary, and (unbelievably) immediate service!!! This Connecticut girl actually got her car started and followed her friend on over to Ooltewah to Little Debbie Parkway and The Best ( most beautiful) Sight of the New Year's ever! I've never seen or experienced anything like THIS place. I felt like I was at a five star hotel. When texted while awaiting diagnosis- I was shocked in two ways.....The severity of and the number of issues, Their access to parts immediately, their ability to remedy each and every malady and malfunction and SAME day service. Practically the entire charging electrical system, belts, brakes, differential servicing, truly too much to mention here. My worries regarding price point quickly addressed, and again my worries just evaporated. These folks really did a weeks worth of work on my Precious Lincoln MKT in a SINGLE DAY‼. I've found MY favorite, MY Premier place of choice for any and all car care needs. Josh and Mike along with the entire team of experts were 100% over and above EVERY hope or expectation. The price points? Amazing- now, if only I could manage to find the right words to describe the Good Will, or Great work this miracle team performed for me today......the Peace of mind that comes with their thorough safety inspection alone is priceless. Their communication along every step of the way was unlike any other ever. Good service but way overpriced. Paid $1000 for work that should've cost around $360 according to online search. While waiting for the work to be completed the rep pressured me heavily for getting another repair done that should've cost another $350 but he quoted me $1000 and pressured me heavily to get it done. I had to decline two or three times before he accepted "no" for an answer. The waiting area was clean and everyone else I dealt with was pleasant. But I felt like I was getting ripped-off with a smile. read more

Liars and thieves, PLEASE do not go here. They rely on HEAVY use of scare tactics and extreme pressure! They tried it on me, I heard them do it to two other customers in the lobby and to a friend of mine. Not a one time thing! Actual phrases they said to me or others... "I don't want to see you have a wreck from this issue" and "You're planning to drive THAT car on your road trip?!" Then laughs/scoffed at the customer as if she were an idiot. Literally the cashier said "sign this document saying we warned you at least if something happens you won't say we didn't warn you". Unbelievable! Retired gentleman said he didn't have the money and needed a couple of days to go transfer money from one account to another and they pressured him SO much and said "I just hate for you to keep driving this car, in this condition" then offered to loan him a car to go transfer the money! He repeatedly (at least five times) said he wasn't ready to do the work and they finally pressured him to do it. They took me back to show me something supposedly wrong and said "your steering is different than we've ever seen" which is stupid because it's a modern, common car. But THEN, the manager later finds me in the lobby and literally said it "is the WORST situation I've ever seen". It can't be BOTH, that my steering is so unique you've never seen it AND the problem is so bad it's the worst you've EVER seen!!!??? And guess what, I've driven the car for years and it's always made that sound and it doesn't affect driving, doesn't leak fluid, etc. He told me it would appear as if it's fine but it's actually the worst he's ever seen. I've gone here for years, for multiple cars but something has changed in recent time period because it didn't use to be like this and I will add that it is a very remarkable difference (not subtle but overt). I'm not a dramatic person but it left me feeling sick to have experienced it and wishing I could report them to someone or at least spare others from experiencing the pressure and scare tactics. When I posted to my FB friends that I was disapppointed to lose my usual mechanic and explained the scare tactics and pressure, my friend wrote me and said "Was it Premier Tire and Auto?" She had similar situation and paid over $3000 feeling now like she was "robbed" to use her words". read more

Price quoted was $1,000 higher then the other 4 estimates I received. Extremely over priced. This is the second time I got an over inflated price on a car repairs. Shop around, there are other honest repair shops in town. read more

I took the car to the company to balance the tires and they said that it needs new tires and other things for a total of more than $6000.00 over the price and we did nothing and when I had been driving for 5 minutes the rear left side tire came out by itself and almost hit a car and the car almost lost control and almost hit another car and when they came to pick it up the only thing they said was we don't know what happened this place stinks read more

We're from mid-Ohio and were returning from a vacation in February when we lost power and google directed us to Premier Tire and Auto Service in Ootlewah. The people greeted us and were very nice. That's the only reason they got 2 stars. They ran a diagnostic and told us the solenoid valve needed replaced and it needed an oil change...for a total of $1500.00. When we found a hotel and called home, our granddaughter, who is married to a mechanic, went balistic. She called them the next morning and they reduced the price to $854.36. We were grateful for the lower price. However, when we got home and talked to a mechanic and looked up replacing the solenoid online, it states the cost should be between $150.00-$200.00. We are in our later 70's and I think they just knew we were stuck in Tennessee and they'd take us for all they could. I called them but they were pretty much "tough luck". I tried to send them a letter but the post office says they don't have a mail box. Just beware as they cheated us big time. I did report it to the FTC. read more

First of all shame on them for charging $217.15 for 1 (ONE) tire to a grandmother with 5 small grandkids in the car, one of which is autistic...second they knew i was over whelmed taking that many small kids into a waiting area and they weren't kind or offer a drink or the kids anything which I believe for that much money I should've gotten at least a sucker for the kids but I did see and hear them offering other guests things, I also did not even get a smile or thank you when they were finished, and when I asked for a receipt I was spoken to like a idiot for asking. I do not recommend these folks unless u enjoy paying 5 times more and treated ugly. read more

I paid over $1000 to them to fix my car that was shutting off and get tires replaced . Not only did they not fix the problem at all and told me to take it to dealership after saying it was fixed and charging me $1000 but also when I came to get my car the tire was flat ... which was supposed to be fixed also. Yes, as a mechanic, I could of easily taken care of my low tire pressure problem but with so much on my plate I had to give the job to someone else (them). These guys here are complete jerks and don't care about their customers at all. They tell you one thing but then do another. They will rip you off any way shape or form. I am never bringing my car to their shop and I highly recommend you DO NOT bring your vehicle to this shop either. They told me they did something particular on my vehicle but then I took it to a friend of mine for a second opinion and he said they didn't do what they said they would do which was replace my oil with synthetic oil. He said they charged me for it but only did a blend not what I asked them to do. This is an awful place to take your vehicle for regular routine maintenance. read more

I drove from Iowa to visit family in the Ooltewah area, but on the way my check engine light came on. I used an engine code reader and it indicated that my EGR valve was not functioning properly. At home, I would have just replaced it myself, but because my tools were at home (and my reason for being in Tennessee was to spend time with my family) I decided to take it to a mechanic. I was expecting to pay around $300 dollars for the replacement, so I was very surprised when they told me that their diagnostic test found that the valve was functioning properly and that replacement was not warranted. They didn't know why the check engine light had gone off (something I need to figure out now that I am home) but I was impressed that they didn't just replace a working part when I could have easily been told that it was necessary. They did charge a diagnostic fee of $65, but I think that this was more than fair considering they didn't take advantage of me. I would definitely recommend this business! read more

Well, they did it to me again! This is the second time I went to them with a big-deal-to-me problem and they just fixed it without charging me. (I guess it was minor to them.) At this point I'm just feeling guilty. And all I can do is say "thank you", leave them a nice Yelp review and remember their kindness next time I need something done to my car. read more

The staff here has been the most thorough and trustworthy I have come across. They have always been upfront with diagnosing my vehicles problems and very fair pricing. There have multiple occasions where I dropped my vehicle off to be checked, and I left without having to pay a dime due to them not finding any issues-- did not charge me an arm or leg for diagnostics. Bought a set of tires from this company. About 2 months later one of the tires had a defect to the side wall. They would not replace the tire or honor the warranty. I have spent thousands of dollars at this location for several sets of tires plus maintenance on my vehicles. The counter person was very rude. He was suppose to call Goodyear and call me back about the tire. I never heard from him. I will never do business here again. I was a loyal customer but not anymore. read more

TOTAL SCAM: I came to get my tires balanced and rotated and they told me my tire rods and bearings were messed up, totaling around $1500 trying to take advantage of me since they thought I had little knowledge of cars. I got a second opinion and they said my bearings and rods were completely fine! New tires and alignment were about $525. DO not give this place your business!! read more

First I must say I have never written a review before (good or bad). Unfortunately, I have to write a bad review for the lack of service I received and disrespect I felt from this company. A month ago I took my 4Runner there for an estimate for lower control arm replacement on both sides and an alignment. I have been there before for alignments and had always received a warm greeting and a sense that the work they were doing was professional. As I have just moved to Cleveland, I believed this was the place for me in the future for car repair. When I received my car back and drove it for the first time, expecting it to handle and drive better (every front end part is new at this point), the ride was horrible. It would dart back and forth with bumps in the road and didn't feel safe. I returned to the shop and explained my experiences to the service clerk and was assured they would give my car there complete attention. I was called the next day and was informed that everything checked out and the alignment was spot on. Afterwards, it still had bad handling manners and didn't drive correctly. After doing some automotive investigating and researching, I have discovered that they incorrectly installed at least one of the alignment cams and bolts on the car. So I returned to the shop to remedy the problem and make my car drive-able again. I was met by the same service clerk as before and an older gentleman (that I assumed was the owner) and explained what I had found and would like to have them fix the car like Toyota had designed. They seemed annoyed that I had returned for a 3rd time for the same problem. At this point I am not upset, as I understand mistakes happen and people get tired. The older gentleman told me that "they were not going to be able to help me" and refunded the cost of the alignment only. At this point I am upset because I didn't want money back, I wanted them to feel invested in fixing the problem and at least come outside and look for themselves and see that the parts were installed incorrectly. Needless to say, I left feeling confused and upset. So I took my 4Runner to a reputable mechanic that I had used in the past but is a long way from my new home to have it looked at. It didn't take him long to see the problem and fix it. He fixed it quickly and easily by switching the bolts around and putting the alignment cams in there proper place. The drive now is fantastic and like I remember it from years ago. The ironic (and sad) part is that Premier Auto has a sign on their desk that says "Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking." I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service from this shop. The problem was easy enough to fix so I am baffled as to why they would not at least look at it.
