On November 22, 2025, a representative from O'Neills Gas & Fireplace came to our home. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely concerning. From the moment he entered, the representative was dismissive and made me feel uncomfortable. At one point, when I asked a question, he told me to "go upstairs and make dinner," implying that I should leave and get out of his way. This comment was unprofessional and inappropriate, especially in my own home. He disassembled the fireplace, and when I noticed an open bottle of cleaning alcohol near his knee, I suggested he move it to avoid an accident. In response, he threatened to stop working and charge a consultation fee, despite not having provided any service or advice. After I insisted, he reluctantly reassembled the fireplace before leaving, but I have no confidence it was restored correctly or safely. I would not recommend using this group, and would never want anyone to experience what we experienced. read more

I have been in the gas industry since 1971. My experience came as a PECO employee for 24 years becoming utility trained in the gas appliance industry. Over the many years my objective is to promptly service gas fireplace equipment, repairing not replacing equipment if at all possible. Therefore saving the consumer the larger expense.
