My normal spot is closed on Sundays ( I didn't know I usually go during the week). So I read some reviews and by the time I was on my 4th salon, I finally found one that was open. I called soon after they opened, told them I needed a mani, pedi- for my wedding. Told the guy working on my pedicure a few times it was for my wedding. Let's start with the good. They have TONS of colors. Although not all of the colors are sampled.. so you really have to go with the color on the bottle and hope that's the actual color you want. Also I was offered a drink (water, soda, or wine) I choose wine, which was a sweet white. Now for the bad. My appointment started about 15 mins late, slightly annoying but not that big of a deal. The water started an ok temperature but I was left sitting for so long it was cold by the time my pedicure got started. Then the guy literally scrubbed my skin right off.. on the side of my foot where I don't have ANYtype of callus (see picture) he also did that to the bottle of one of my toes. Then there is a toe that isn't glossy and looks faded. So we move up to get my nails done. I really wish I had a picture of what he originally did. I showed him a picture and said I wanted my nails to look exactly like the picture. Size, shape, color.. everything. So he starts to shape my nails.. now mind you I have very short natural nails.. and none are really the same length. So he's shaping them and I remind him that I want them to look just like the picture. The length too. Then he said "oh that needs tip" I said that's fine. Then he got up walked to another nail tech and then they both turn to me. The other ones waves me over.. so I get up and go to his station. I show him my picture and he says " oh I thought you wanted a manicure". I said I guess I didn't know what it was called but that I wanted my nails to look just like the picture. Then he did my nails in like 15 mins. The sloppiest I've ever gotten them done. They are a consistent shape, they are alllll too long and much longer then the image and not the same color I showed- these have like a hot pink hue I wanted like a baby blue (see image) At this point I had been at the nail salon for over 2 hours and really wasn't happy with any of the work. Then I found out that my total was $150. Never got a breakdown. Oh and did I mention they also made me bleed in 3 places of my cuticles. I can't believe these will be the nails I have for my wedding. I can only hope I save someone else from spending their money here.

She didn't even let my feet soak for more than a few minutes, didn't ask me what shape I wanted my nails in or if I wanted them cut, she barely filed them, it was a mad rush. They even rushed me to pick a color. It was so bizarre! The woman who was at the door was snippy, pushy and even tried to tell me what color to get-unbelievable! Terrible Presentation: When I walked to the back where the pedicure chairs are, I immediately saw junk on the floor, boxes-some opened, some unopened. And boy was I sorry when I had to use the bathroom which they also use as a storage closet-it had more dusty boxes, junk, vacuum cleaners, etc. I'm sorry that I spent any of what was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon in this place. I do not recommend this salon to anyone because I feel like they treat people differently if you don't look the part , if you get what I mean and it's not my first experience my daughter had the same experience when she went, but I watched them do other people's feet differently. It took her every bit of 5 minutes to Complete the manicuring of my toes. when I told her she did not touch my heels in the bottom of my foot. She said she did when I know if you touched them. Homegirl used the pumice stone maybe one swipe down my heels and then punched the bottom of my feet 1 each then got to nail painting. Not a single file was used. I was in and out in 24 minutes and she had the nerve to tell me that next time they will charge me for gel removal but she didnt this time. uhhh yea because she literally hardly removed It the paint is bumpy as hell. My youngest wanted bright colors and the hair I brought from Amazon evidently was no good. They have a hair store attached so they're able to supply a variety. They were able to provide something she loved included in my price. They are honest about pricing. And their professional opinion on what will work. They always have someone available when I arrive to begin immediately, and somehow it takes less time than most other braiding places. There is a wonderful energy of community among the stylists and their accommodating to needs: sharing phone, chargers, and being more delicate with my sensitive hair child.
