Well, the repair bug struck again. This time it struck my 19 year-old Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator (don't be so surprised, it was American-made). I had had it repaired two years ago and it is our spare fridge anyway so this time we had written it off, it's time to replace it. My wife and I waffled back and forth on that decision a bit and then finally committed to replacing it. I had already done the research, took my measurements, selected a refrigerator, I'd even gone to Sears to ensure they had the exact color I needed. The dimensions were fine, the doors would have to come off in order to fit through my front door but everything else was good measurement-wise. After locking in a specific brand and model for replacement, I decided to read through the best and worst reviews. There were highs and lows but the lows were not looking good, a few hundred dollars here, a few hundred dollars there, these were some unhappy customers. I then read that Sears would not replace a lemon of a refrigerator until there had been four repair calls, FOUR! You have to let your food get ruined four times!? I took a look at the extended warranty plans and they would have run me about $600 on top of the price of the refrigerator, now we were in the neighborhood of $2,300, UGH! I decided to give Premium Appliance Repair Plus another try, they treated me right two years ago, so why not? I called Wednesday and while they couldn't fit me in then, they were able to fit me in this Thursday. Victor was once again the repair technician who responded, he arrived near the middle of the 5-7 repair window. He took a few temperature readings and noted that my freezer was sitting around 103 degrees Fahrenheit inside. He confirmed that the compressor was indeed not operational and decided to try the easiest fix first, a relay. He installed the relay and moments later the compressor kicked on and the refrigerator was fully operational, the relay worked. Yippee! To top off this repair experience, I was given a huge discount on the bill, just for being a returning customer, sweet! Didn't even take the washer apart. Told me my "rods" were broken and that is why it wouldn't spin and he had to order new ones and they would be back the following Friday to repair. Just like the last reviewer, my parts arrived missing pieces. He waited to the last minute to let me know this the day of his return appointment. Over the last 2.5 weeks I've called them dozens of times and left multiple messages. No returned phone calls or texts. So I started digging. Their business address listed here is fake. That building is no longer there. So I dug a little further. They have been reported multiple times to the Better Business Bureau for operating without a license. This "business" is 100% a scam. Premium Appliance Repair is definitely a 5-star company who values their customer's time. For the past several years, I have experienced issues with my LG dryer squealing every time I used it. I hired two other companies who each replaced the rollers and the belt but the squealing persisted. These two companies also failed to show up for scheduled appointments without telling me they weren't coming. The tech from Premium Appliance came by at the scheduled time and quickly determined the problem. He ordered the part and a few days later, came by and fixed the dryer which is now as quiet as it was when I first purchased it more than 10 years ago. The Premium Appliance folks called and texted me various times to schedule an appointment, give me an estimated cost, remind me of my upcoming appointment, and on the day of the appointment, they texted to let me know the tech was on his way and would arrive at a certain time (which he did). Also included in the text was a link to an UBER-like map that showed me were the tech's car was in relationship to my house. It doesn't get much better than this. Called yesterday, made an appointment for today (2 hour window), Jeremy called to say he was finishing up at his previous appointment and would be with me soon. On arrival, we talked about what was needed, the part was in stock for my washer and it was replaced later the same day. Amazing service, they take all forms of payment (cash, card or check) and are genuinely nice people. Highly recommended! read more

Someone referred this place to us . I was not very happy with their service . They're very unprofessional. I called them in dec. 2020 for my fridge coz there's no water coming out of the dispenser. The repair guy came jan.19th 2021 for diagnoses he told me $150 for the filter and $90 for diagnoses so, I was like ok it's not bad at all ,they gave me an appointment in feb. 5th 2021. But the lady called me and canceled my appointment coz she said the parts came in broken or defective and they'll order a new one. I said ok, I understand but After that I never heard from them. I called them after many weeks went by, the lady answered the phone and told me she's going to log in on their other account to check where my stuff at after that, I never heard from them AGAIN. I called them back to check what's going on they won't answer the phone. We rely on water bottles the whole time. I'm just upset coz, I have a baby that still using a powdered milk and HEB ran out of water when the snowstorm hits. If you guys treat your customer like this . I scheduled an appointment to fix a leaking refrigerator. I was seen two days later at the appointed time. Victor was thorough in explaining the deficiency, how to keep it from happening again, and gave a quick tutorial on basic upkeep. Needed repair on my washer and dryer.. called a few places, some wanted close to $80 for a diagnostic, some wanted two separate diagnostic fees since they were two separate machines, then there was Pro Appliance Plus.. $45 for a diagnostic on both machines and they could come late which works great with my long work days. Time arrival I was given on the phone was 5-7 pm. I got a call at 4 pm the day of my diagnostic asking if I was home. I was still at work and the repairman told me his time window was 4-6. I told him I wouldn't be home until right at 5 and he told me he'd go to another repair then come back to me. He showed up around 530, got right to work and even noticed my shoe rack by the front door and removed his shoes (bonus points)!!! Half way through his diagnostic he explained what he was doing and how it was looking. About 45 minutes later he had a quote. Quick, friendly and flexible service! The repairman was very respectable and scheduling an appointment was quick and easy, too. read more

This company was chosen for me through my home warranty company. They came out to look at my dryer. It was recommended that I clean out the vent and that the fuse was probably blown. So, I cleaned the vent and changed the fuse as the service guy recommended I do. Now my dryer is having the same issue again. I called for them to come out again to look at it and they are saying that I tampered with the drying and they won't fix it. I was poorly advised and now I have to have someone else come out and fix the dryer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! They gave me advice that would in turn void my warranty.
