The part cost $50 on Amazon AND it took me less than two minutes to replace it! Filter must be cleaned -- $150 -- The pressure gauge wasn't even reading 15 PSI. I cleaned it myself but it didn't need it. Your auto chlorinator is not dissolving the tabs. It needs an evaluation. They want to charge additional fees to see if there is something wrong with it! Chlorine levels are high. WTFF? They say they vacuum every time they come out. Their vacuum is battery operated with a netted BAG! Same thing as the Polaris - it picks up leaves but sprays the dust up into the water for the filter to pick up and leaves your water cloudy (they should be using a hose that connects to the filter).

We also had a vision for our pool and he came out and gave us a totally different one and I'm glad he did because it flowed so much better with the layout of our house and yard. The installation process was super quick and easy too. The two guys that came out the first day had the hole dug and the pool set it. They were very nice and efficient. The concrete guys were just as fast. Ivan and Ericka were great with all the coordination of everything and Ivan went above and beyond to help me with the pool chemicals and how to clean everything myself saving me money on a pool service. He has been helpful weeks after the install too always being a text away if I have any questions! From beginning to end this has been the best company!

They tore off the siding of my house and replaced it with materials that do not match and it is very obvious not fixed. They originally put in the wrong pool tile. They put up fences that are now falling apart. It has been less than a year. I have begged them to come back and fix the work that they did, but they will not. They did not care at all about their work or stand behind it. I will now have to spend thousands of dollars to fix all of their mistakes. They said they could reuse my existing turf and this is what it looks like. Despite my many communications with Steve, his team did not fix anything.

Also they reset the pump flat on the concrete, added guards by the timer, disconnected old chlorinator, added a hose bin to drain the pool, refurbished the DE filter with all new filter grid and new ring seal. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We did the "Green-to-Clean ($800)". It took SIX weeks. We had to repeatedly follow up because they would go ~2 weeks without showing up or communicating. When we asked, we were told there was an emergency situation, we tried to be understanding, but there was no proactive communication on their end. We decided weekly service ($250/month). After the initial clean, we signed up for weekly maintenance. Within 24-48 hours of each visit, chlorine levels would drop back to 0 ppm. GP&A's explanation was that our pool system was outdated and needed to be replaced. However, we had two separate pool inspections done when we purchased the home, plus 3-4 other pool companies assess the equipment, none of them flagged the system (installed in 2017) as a problem requiring replacement. Upsell attempts: GP&A quoted us a full system replacement (under $6,000) and then a filter replacement (~$2,200) before they said they could continue service. We decided to move on to another provider. End of service: We asked if they could continue maintaining the pool through the end of the month. Their last visit was six days before the final day of the month (image attached). The pool was visibly green and in poor condition by end of month (again they serviced it 6 days ago and it is this green; not adding enough chlorine). When we brought this up, they responded that the condition was "consistent with the unresolved filtration issue for which repairs were recommended", essentially placing responsibility on us for not purchasing their repair package. We were looking for a long-term, trustworthy pool service company. What we experienced was poor communication, inconsistent results, and recommendations that no other company has supported. I cannot recommend GP&A based on our experience.
