We took a Premium Tours trip from London to Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge. My main complaint is that the A/C was broken on our coach. it was a very hot day and the coach was parked in the sun when we were out of it at these tourists sites, making the temperature over 100 degrees F (over 38 degrees Celcius) in the coach. I was sweating profusely and was so drained of energy at every stop that all I could do to manage was a quick walk-through and then wait somewhere trying to cool off with an iced beverage and/or ice cream. The guide kept apologizing for the heat but nothing was ever done to replace the broken coach. We were within driving time of London so that a working coach could have been sent to our first stop at Windsor Castle, but all we got was, "Uh... sorry. Looks like the A/C is broken." Since I did not enjoy the trip in the least and since I didn't have the energy to walk around to see the sites, I felt that a refund should be in order. In fact, their Terms and Conditions state that my payment constituted a Contract with the company and since the advertisement for the trip stated in writing that I would be transported in a Luxury Air-Conditioned Coach, I felt that they did not live up to their end of the contract. Also, I would have understood a little bit if they had sent out a new coach to replace the broken one, since the broken A/C was obvious within a few minutes of leaving London, but they never had any intention of trying that. Instead the guide said that the driver would keep working at the knobs and buttons on the A/C to make sure it was set properly. My second complaint on this tour was that I booked another tour over the phone and they asked me if I planned to book any more. I said that I wanted to go to Windsor Castle but hadn't looked for a tour online yet. They said they had a tour to Windsor Castle but that it went to Bath as well. I didn't want to do Bath, but decided I would go ahead and book it because I enjoyed Bath the last time. Well, come to find out, this tour included Bath and Stonehenge. I've done Stonehenge twice before (Inner Circle) so why would I want to view it again at a distance? (I wouldn't). Also, it turns out that they have other tours to Windsor Castle that are much less expensive. She up-sold me to a more expensive tour even though I told her that I ONLY wanted to go to Windsor Castle and completely left out the information about going to Stonehenge too. I know I should have just said "no, I'd like to research it first", but I assumed this was an honest and forthright, trust-worthy company. I was wrong. They care more about their bottom line than they do about providing a positive experience for their customers. My other tour with them was great, but a company like this needs to be evaluated by how it treats its customers when things go wrong, not by how much the customers loved the sites they visited when things go right, and this company showed its true colors when they did not put their customer's comfort ahead of the money they would have to spend to make things right. read more

Did the early morning special access Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath tour. Tour was pricey but the tour went well. The bus arrived at the pick up point on time (5:15 am at Cumberland Hotel). Tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. She pointed out various landmarks along the way. 1st stop was a short pit stop for coffee. We then headed to Stonehenge. We arrived before the crowds but after the sun had already risen. We got to walk among the stones for about 45 minutes and had some time in the gift shop. Next stop was the small town of Lacock. We stopped for breakfast at Georges Inn and had time to do a little sightseeing. Last stop was Bath. We had about 2 hours to tour the Roman Baths, have lunch, and walk around. Bath had a lot of shops and restaurants but it was very crowded. We got back to London early evening. The tour was well organized. Bus was large and very comfortable. Some things to note - special access tours are held only on certain days so it's best to book early (there's also a special access evening tour). Special access tour is recommended if you want to avoid the crowds and get up close to the stones (but touching the stones not allowed). Tickets for the Roman baths are included in the tour price but the breakfast is not. I went on the tour in late February. London was cold (in the 40s F) but Stonehenge seemed even colder. Would advise checking weather/temps ahead of time so you can dress appropriately. When the tour bus returned to London, the drop off locations were not the same as pick up locations. I was able to walk from my hotel to the pick up location at the Cumberland hotel but had to take the Tube back to my hotel after the tour. Also note that the Tube is closed at 5:15am. read more

Just on the bus on not a good start. After leaving us sucking the exhaust fumes of the busses outside of a grotty terminal because the list wasn't alphabetical and the guy checking us off had to go through 6 individual pages for each name -- he told me I couldn't take my drink bc no "hot drinks" were allowed. It was A COLD DRINK! I specifically got it because it was cold. FULL OF ICE! I showed him the ice. I told him to feel it and he took it from hands and put it on the ground. I will have a raging headache from lack of caffeine. The bus is uncomfortable and of mediocre cleanliness. I am sure Stonehenge is full of grandeur. But right now I want to get off this bus and take another tour group. read more

Did a Paris for the Day trip from London through Premium Tours via Viator.com. The Eurostar tickets were the problem with the trip. But before I get to that, let me note the positive: 1) River trip along the Seine was informative and in a heated boat giving nice views of Paris from the Seine River. 2) Lunch on the 1st floor restaurant of the Eiffel Tower with a set menu. Chicken and dessert was good. Service was good. 3) Time to look around the Louvre which allowed my wife and me to look at the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and the Louvre Pyramid. 4) Bus tour around parts of Paris. 5) Nice sampling of Paris for a first time visitor such as myself. The problems was with a) the Eurostar portions of the tickets and b) the return trip to London:. 1) Meeting was to start at 6AM. Based on prior reviews of Travelocity.com, knew that rather than meeting in front of gate 5, met nearby in front of Le Pain Quotidien. Not noted on voucher, but that is what ended up happening. 2) The organizers had problems with the tickets they set up with Eurostar, so they had to repurchase out tickets. As such, our seating for the tour group was disorganized. Initially, my wife and I were in separate cars, but later we reunited and stayed together for the trip from London to Paris. 3) When returning to the Paris station to get onto Eurostar back to London, we arrived late due to evening traffic. Everyone rushed to fill out the Landing Cards (no pens available). The ticket issue for the return trip had not been resolved. Even as the whole group rushed to get through customs, by the time the tickets were obtained, we missed our train for 7:13PM and had to take the next one for 8:13PM. The ride along Eurostar each way was fine once the tickets were obtained and we were seated. My recommendations to anyone using Premium Tours (through Viator or another website): 1) Not for those with kids or the handicapped until the tour group can streamline the Eurostar ticket reservations. 2) Expect things to go wrong. As such, if you don't like to be rushed, don't use this tour. To Premium Tours: 1) Resolve the Eurostar ticket reservation problems with Eurostar. 2) Make sure that the bus leaves earlier from the Louvre (5PM) to deal with the traffic when returning to the Paris station. If that means that you decrease the bus tour time or the time spent at the Eiffel Tower, better that then to stress out the group over missing the train. If you can streamline this, then your tour company would get better reviews. I would have given your a 4 or 5 star if it wasn't for the Eurostar issue. read more

My wife and I took the tour of Stonehenge, Bath and Stratford-on-Avon today. Be advised that it is around 12-13 hours in total, so don't plan an early evening meal. The driver and guide were excellent at their jobs. The bus was apparently brand-new but built for grade-school kids. I'm not a big and tall guy, but my knees were smashed against the seat of ahead of me! The seat width was barely sufficient for our shoulder-widths and people always brushed against me when they walked in the aisle. The timing of the stops was professional and, as I said, the guide as knowledgeable and fun. Probably the biggest reason to do this tour is that you get to see a good sampling of southern England west from London and a bit north and then over to Stratford-on-Avon. It's good when you are visiting the megapolis of London to get a bit of the flavor of the countryside of England. We're happy we went. read more

First mistake: assuming that the Stonehenge/Bath tour would enable us to fully enjoy both sites. Nothing was further from the truth. The bus arried late and then instead of proceeding to Stonehenge, we went to Windsor to pick up another tour group. We waited for them to finish their castle tour, hit lots of x-way traffic, spent 45 minutes at: Stonehenge, rushed through lunch at an inn in Lacock, what looked to be a lovely town, but by now it was 3:30 and on to Bath, only to find the famous Roman baths, the motiation for our trip, had closed, as had nearly every business in the town. We walked around a few blocks on our own, but there was not enough time to really seek out the town's fabulous architecture, then back on the bus. One redeeming factor was our delightful and knowledgeable guide who exhibited concern for our well-being. My purpose in writing is to alert others who think they are getting an expedient trip to two "must sees" that they might want to consider other options read more

We purchased the Groupon voucher for the Bath/Stonehenge tour. Firstly I want to review the customer service in the booking period. It. was. terrible. I emailed the company five days before as the instructions on the Groupon stated and asked if there was availability for that weekend. I got a response 24 hours later saying yes there was room but please send in the vouchers and they'd process the booking. I sent in the vouchers within five minutes of receiving that email yet didn't receive a confirmation or any acknowledgement. It got to the day before the tour and I wondered why I hadn't had any form of booking confirmation, so I found their number on their website and called them. The staff over the phone were very rude, kept interrupting me, and wouldn't listen to what I wanted to say. Eventually I explained the communication I'd had so far. She told me I wasn't booked on the tour and there were so seats available. She then said they hadn't even read my email yet. Wow, great service guys, that's awesome. I was less than impressed. In the end she booked me in for the following weekend. Now, the tour itself. Firstly, it was VERY unorganised at the station trying to find the right tour etc which left a lot of people stressful. The buses were so packed many couples got split up from each other which they really weren't happy about. I really enjoyed myself. The coach is air-conditioned and comfortable though it is absolutely packed full of people so it is quite impersonal. We struck a lot of traffic so arrived at Stonehenge late yet we still go about an hour and a half to look around. Then it was another hour to Bath where we were given three hours. I wasn't offered to pre-purchase tickets to the Roman Baths when I made the booking which irritated me as I would've done that if offered and when we arrived the line was so long to get in and buy tickets it would have meant we'd have seen nothing else in the city. Instead we wandered around, looked at the Abbey and got some food. It still felt a bit rushed but it was a nice place to see. Usually the guide does a walking tour around the city and usually you would get 4 hours in Bath but as we were already late we only got three hours and the walking tour was cancelled which was a shame. We arrived back in London just before 7pm. The tour is decent but I certainly wouldn't say it's 'luxury' or 'premium'. The customer service staff need some serious training in basic politeness and customer service and the company as a whole need to be far better organised (right from the booking process.) read more

I booked a tour to Leeds castle, Dover and Canterbury through Groupon. Booking a date was simple and straightforward. The bus was quite full but comfortable. We started from the Victoria Coach station and after a little bit of confusion at the gates, we made it to the correct coach. Was great to set off on time and head directly out of the city (unlike other tours I have been on). Our guide was knowledgeable, gave us lots of information, and was very clear on meeting points etc, which was great. The only thing with this tour was that by booking through Groupon, we had a limited tour compared to the others on the bus. There were 6 of us in the same situation. Although on the same tour our 'value tour' did not include entry into the Canterbury cathedral or the boat ride back from Greenwich. This was clear on our tickets, and it would have been easy enough to buy single on the day entry fees if individuals wanted. However, I don't feel that getting back was explained. As the main tour included a quick Greenwich tour before catching the boat back to Westminster, it made it difficult for some people to return back to our starting point. I assumed that we would be finishing at Victoria Coach Station (where we began), but we were told to make our own way back from Greenwich. Our guide seemed unsure too, but gave us options about how to get back at our own expense. The bus driver even offered for people to stay on the bus. Overall, a great day trip. Booked Afternoon Stonehenge Tour. We went to the picking point 30 minutes in advance and we waited for the bus which was not showing. 20 minutes after the detature date, I dropped a call to the agency, and the told me that the tour had been cancelled and offered me to be moved on the same tour the following day. They told that they sent me e-mail: it was true, however the Agency can not rely taht everyone is connected coninuosuly to e-mail, especially people travelling to London from foreing countries. Then, this was disappointing, especially in light that the Agency had my phone number and could had reached me without e.mail. If you only read this part of the review (my reviews can be a bit daunting sometimes), make it this part: Our driver and tour guide we're both AWESOME!!!! Our driver was Nuno, and he did a great job! I'm scared of driving a normal car. I can't imagine the skill it would take to drive an enormous bus down windy country roads. He also took us on a bit of a detour to a village called Box. This is where the guy who came up with Thomas the Train Engine lived when he started writing the books that inspired the franchise. I won't summarize the whole thing, but Thomas and his friends were my obsession when I was little, so it was a perfect touch for me. Our tour guide, Leon, was hilarious, and he filled us in on lots of little secrets about the places we went, as well as British history and current politics. They were both so fantastic! Okay, on to the rest of the review: First, we went to Windsor Castle. We had a pretty long time, and we got to explore the place, and see a guard change (those don't happen every day, so we got lucky!) It was a little rushed, but that's not something I mind, because I like things busy and exciting. But that's a personal preference. I got to see everything I wanted to, and it was a fantastic stop. Next up, Stonehenge! (Not Stonehedge. Stonehenge. For those of you who thought it was Stonehedge, you aren't alone) It was cold, because it just was. Bring a jacket if it's gonna be cold, because this place can get pretty windy. Gap sells cheap sweatshirts in the summer when London has decided to act like winter, just saying :) . I learned so much cool stuff at this stop, the super-duper ancient kind they don't teach you in school (or maybe they did and I was absent that day). After that, Bath! We got a lot of freedom at this stop. I would recommend popping into the cathedral. I didn't go into the actual baths, because I knew I might be late for the bus if I did, so I walked around the city instead. I loved it there! I would totally go back and visit it again, maybe even stay there for a couple of days. It's super cool and unique! We stopped at a pub for dinner (Fun fact that Leon told us: it's the legitimate law that you have to have a pub sign with a drawing that communicates the pub name. It's an old law from when a good percentage of the population was illiterate, and they haven't bothered to repeal it, because, hey, it's quirky). The food there (it was called the Red Lion) was great! We walked around the town the pub was in, which was called Lecock. There were places where they had filmed stuff from Harry Potter, which was fantastic, because I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd (Leon also said there was stuff from Fantastic Beasts 1 & 2, but I can't imagine what it would be. I'm also a huge FB nerd). On the way home, we were all tired, happy, and well fed. Lots of people fell asleep. Leon helped us figure out how to get back to our hotels, and our drive from Lecock to London was about 2 hours. Fantastic tour! I would totally do it again!!!! If you're going, bring some snacks and a couple drinks and get to the coach station at about 7:25. If you see Leon, tell him to read the Harry Potter books. He's only ever seen the movies. Booked the Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath tour with a pub lunch. We were picked up at the designated time with no problems then driven to Victoria station and boarded our coach. Arrived to Windsor pretty quickly and had about an hour and a half where we also got to see the changing of the Guards. Then went to a pub called Bell where we had an option of a burger, fish & chips or cold pasta. Food was ok and drinks extra but better than a sandwich that you get on some others. Then off to Stonehenge where we had about 4o minutes which was plenty. Bath was next and we had about an hour and a half which was definitely not enough time but it was good to go there and see I wanted to go back! If you've spent your life depressed and despondent, thinking nothing else could go wrong, you should take a Premium Tour of London. You'll realize that life was a field of roses before! This is not to say that the guide, Alan, wasn't charming or doing his best to cover for the company, but even his best efforts could not remedy the problems encountered. My sister and I found the tour on TripAdvisor and were sort of concerned that the prices were low on the two tours we wanted to take, now we know why. The bus they put you on is a broken down piece of crap! My air conditioning vent was broken and since it was a cold rainy day, I was treated to blasts of ice cold air pouring down on me.the seat in front of my sister was broken, so the gentleman in that seat was on her lap the entire tour. We marched through torrential rains until we were soaked, waiting on long lines to get into the attractions. We noticed other tour companies were giving their customers plastic parkas to wear, not so premium...and tickets to attractions were not purchased in advance so we waited for this as well. Arriving back at our hotel looking like drowned rats, we tried to contact Premium to cancel our tour with them the next day to no avail...and when we finally got them the next day, they would not refund our money for that day's trip, which we were too exhausted to take. Me and my husband travelled on the 'Day Trip To Paris' tour from London. The whole day was a wonderful experience from the word go!!! We were met at Kings Cross in the morning by our guide Charlotte and boarded the Eurostar. The train ride was really comfortable and we arrived at Paris in no time! Charlotte was actually a native French speaker who lived in London so she knew so many funny and interesting facts about Paris which really made the day that little bit better. My husband and I just got married and we are honeymooning in London and Paris. He has always wanted to see Stonehenge and so do I. I have been searching for prices and saw a tour for Stonehenge and Bath and the price is not too bad with Premium Tour. Our tour guide was Allen. He was interesting. He tried to make us laugh with his stories and celebrities impression. He gave information about London and pointed out where some celebrities lived. He tried to be accommodating as much as possible. There is a service center with a cafe and shop that was built about a mile from Stonehenge. You can choose to walk or take the shuttle bus, which can hold up to 40 people. Allen made sure we got in the shuttle bus and had repeatedly told us what time we need to be back on the coach. There are audio guides for Stonehenge so he didn't need to be there. The audio guide provided us with a lot of information. It was great to finally see it in person. I wish we we're allow to touch it and walk all around it. Unfortunately, some idiot decided they want to take a piece of the stone with them and brought a chisel with them a couple months ago so they had to create a pathway for you to be around it instead. Afterward, we are on our way to See the Roman Bath. It was so cute because Allen said we will get to see a 'baby castle' and he will point it out. Baby castle?! Haahaa.. He was right, we saw a small castle the size of a two story house. It was totally cute. Once we got to Bath, he let us rome free for more then 3 hours. It was awesome, we were able to take our one to go into the Roman bath, go shopping, have lunch, walk around and explore. It was a fun day and Allen was cool. read more

The tour guides are fabulous and the drivers are smooth. Carol, my guide for today's Leeds Castle tour was above and beyond spectacular. She filled our transport time with loads of information and made the whole day enjoyable. I feel that I could have been somewhat (but not severely) disappointed by the other guides had she been my first. She was an entertaining and informative class act and I appreciated her going all the way by filling our travel time with so much information. It's clear she loves her job. On another tour I had two guides who were super generous in discussing what it would be like to live in and navigate life in London and I'm super grateful for their wisdom and generosity. First time visitors to London. Booked tour for changing of the guard etc. Guide was very knowledgeable and gave us tidbits of information of interest. It was quite active with walking from location to location. I'm out of shape but was able to keep up. An older couple dropped out. When you book, ask how much walking is involved if that's something you need to consider. Probably walked about a mile for this tour. Sometimes we scurried to beat the ever present crowds. We took the Windsor Castle, Bath, Stonehenge tour on 10/1/15. Our guide was Jason and our driver was Mark. These guys did an awesome job keeping 70+ tourists on a tight schedule for the day. They are not kidding about the time frames, and I loved that!! Jason was super clear about this and if you thought he wasn't, then you weren't listening! It is no joke ... the bus almost pulled away without some folks aboard because they were late. This tour is a quick look at 3 spots worth visiting. I would have loved to have more time in most of the spots, but the day was about 12 hours in total, so it wasn't realistic to spend more time anywhere. I appreciated the organization and coordination this trip took! Book this trip! Do this!! Just know that it's a bit hurried and you need to be on time. Enjoyable day at Windsor, Bath, and Stonehenge with Steve as guide. The pickup was efficient and timely. The bus station, on the other hand, was absolute chaos and filthy. Make sure you have change because this was where they decided to disclose no potties on the buses, and the station charged £.30. I have zero problem paying for a bathroom, but I didn't happen to have exact change and the change machine was broken down. I would also recommend staggering the leave times if at all possible. We did not get anywhere near enough time at Windsor, and the rush through made us all anxious and a bit cross. Hindsight being what it is I would skip Bath all together. Stonehenge was nice. The fact that the tour bus did not have a bathroom became an all consuming concern for us as we were traveling with a three year old. This should have been disclosed beforehand, as we probably would have decided not to do the tour. We also didn't have time to grab lunch - a HUGE deal for a toddler. Fortunately, we brought sacks, but I would have appreciated time to get lunch or for the company to sell lunches in advance. The driver was good and efficient- I never felt uncomfortable. Steve was the star of this show BY FAR. He must have a photographic memory because he spouts stats and facts off like he wrote the history books. He tells the best corny jokes and keeps things light while keeping a large group safe. Seriously loved this guy and would do a tour again with him any day of the week. We booked the sunrise Stonehenge-Lacock-Bath tour. Stonehenge was cool, but overall it was not worth the hassle of dealing with this nightmarish company. They missed our 5 AM hotel pickup and tried to blame it on us for being "late," claiming they were already there and left. We had been there since 4:45 and others even earlier. It took the company another 40 minutes to locate the bus, and we paid for Ubers to rush us across town, but we missed the last stop by 5 minutes and the bus was gone. Another company van was there, though, to take us to Stonehenge, which was nice. When we arrived, everyone in our group from the tourists to the tour guide had a bad attitude for making them late. They bitched about us taking their seats on the bus (NEVER have I been on a bus tour that had "assigned" seats)--even though we were early to the bus at the rest of the tour stops and some of them were 10 minutes late! The bus driver also took at least 2 wrong turns, causing more delays, but no one seemed to care about that. Oh, and he kept triggering the alarm system by taking corners too fast. Finally, it wasn't stated in the reservation, but the final stop on the way home was THREE MILES away from our hotel (which was also the designated pickup location). We had to pay for the tube to take us back (at rush hour, no less). As for the tour stops, like I said, Stonehenge was cool. Even with delays we still got 15 minutes in the stones and 15 outside. Lacock was quaint but we only had an hour there and the tour guide didn't tell us where exactly the Harry Potter scenes were filmed until we were on the bus headed out. We also had two hours in Bath, which was enough for the bath house tour and some shopping. The bath house tour was extremely crowded and unpleasant; it was interesting and I'm glad I went, but I wouldn't do it again. read more

This tour company strikes me as the Walmart of tours in that they have an abundance of options and supply and are usually the cheapest. Naturally therefore the quality is not the best. The plus was that they had availability for our date of travel. The downside is that we were not allowed to use the bathroom on the bus, there was no wifi, we were not allowed to bring food OR drinks (except water) onto the bus, and we got a very rushed, cynical tour from an eccentric tour guide. When I say rushed... I mean speed walking up the hills of Bath so much so that one couple stopped to use the bathroom and lost sight of us completely for the rest of the tour. Also, apparently the Sunday tour is shorter than the Saturday tour for Stonehenge and Bath (for no apparent reason) and we were not made aware of that fact til after got to Bath and were told we essentially only have 2 hours in Bath. If you have even a little give in your time and your budget I would recommend you paying a bit more and going with another company. read more

A friend was visiting from out of town and wanted to visit Paris. We found it cheaper to do a 1 day tour with Premium tours. We booked the "Luxury Paris Tour" as it boasted a 3 course lunch on the Eifel tower with champagne and an assortment of places to visit (Eifel Tower, Bus Tour, River Seine Cruise, Lourve (you have to pay extra), -fully escorted tour which cost 199 pounds. The tour-guide I thought was very knowledgeable and fantastic- however the way the trip is coordinated and what the company gives back to you does not deserve the price. My biggest complaint is the "luxury lunch" they take you on. It is no "luxury". Yes- it is on the Eifel tower on level 1, when we came into the restaurant they escorted us into the area that was covered in construction so we had no views. The entire right side of the restaurant was barely populated with people and free of construction but I am assuming because we were on a tour they decided to put us in the less deserving area of the restaurant. We had 1 1/2 hours to eat our food and explore the Eifel Tower & make it to the River Seine ourselves. Naturally we wanted our food quickly but no waiter came for 20 minutes. There was no vegetarian option on the menu. I am shocked Premium Tour does not request at least 1 long standing vegetarian item. Needless to say- after much debate- I got very cold and hard vegetables. They brought our food out in Pyrex dishes with plastic lids. Since when is pyrex luxury? It was all very weird... When we finally ate our food we rushed to the top of the Eifel Tower via stairs to take some photos, we rushed back down the stairs, we rushed to the front for some photos and then we got lost trying to find the River Seine. I am shocked they did not have a tour guide assist everyone as we are not locals and in Paris for about 5 hours. I would not book this company again- clearly none of the people who dictate these tours have ever been on any of their luxury Paris tour or else they would know this is not a luxury experience. read more

We took the morning Stonehenge direct tour which was not great. The bus is fine and the bus driver was very personable, but due to delays getting out of London traffic, we arrived later than expected at the site. Rather than extend the departure time to allow us to spend the promised time at the site, our visit was shortened to allow the apologetic driver to remain on schedule. I can't blame him for doing as his employer requires, but 70 minutes at Stonehenge is not nearly enough time on a busy summer day. Thanks to the sizable lines for the tram cars which ferry visitors back and forth from the site and the shortened time we were allowed by the tour operator, our group had roughly 15 minutes at the stones, which didn't even permit us time to listen to the audio guide, and no time at all for the exhibition at the visitors center before we had to rush back to our bus for the return to London. One of the tour members who was disabled never even made it to the stones before having to turn back to catch the bus! It was a disappointing day and I would not recommend the Stonehenge direct tour to anyone who really wishes to get a chance to experience the magnificent site. read more
