This is a poorly run, low quality operation. Let me provide a few more details. At the beginning of February, I went to Lazer Pix and met with Tim, the owner. I gave him 104 photographs all numbered and asked that they be scanned. I also gave him an 8mm reel of film that I asked be converted to DVD. Tim took the order and agreed to complete the work by February 15th. When the job was "completed" we received a call and my wife went to pick up the material. I came home from work to find that only the photos had been scanned and the 8mm film had not been completed. Fair enough I thought, maybe that is taking longer than expected. I put the DVD-R into my computer and discovered that all of the photos had been scanned as PDF's. Huh? Who wants images as PDF's? OK, so I called and asked that they be scanned as JPG's. A couple of days later, my wife picks up another DVD-R with the images. This time they are all JPG's; great I thought. Unfortunately, I was only able to open the first image. The rest of the images were corrupted. Apparently there was no quality control to make sure the DVD-R had been written correctly. So, I called up Tim again and asked that he provide another DVD-R. The next day we pick up the new DVD-R and I began reviewing the images. While the majority were good, there were several that had been scanned with poor quality and were out of focus even though the original photograph was in focus. I phoned Tim and spoke to him about it and also asked that he not do the work on the 8mm film until I'm happy with the quality of the images (I think this might have been where he decided he wasn't interested in doing anything further, but that's just a guess). He didn't seem happy but told me it would be done the following week. The following week came and nothing. We kept calling and each time we were told it would be done "tomorrow". Today, a month since Tim first said the work would be completed it still hasn't been done. I went to the store to ask Tim and he told me he's been busy and that I said I wasn't in a rush. As for replacement windows, though very nice especially with the fold down feature making cleaning easy peasy, I just think in general, new construction is better. I had 2-8' new construction windows put in last summer-wonderful and 8 replacements on a 50 year old house. They're fine, but there's something about replacement that doesn't quite seem as "tight" as new. BUT to do all of those windows would've cost a fortune and what we did was expensive enough for us. I hate to leave bad reviews - but sometimes it is warranted…read more I ordered flowers for delivery through an 800 Teleflora website. First time I ever used them. I had ordered the day before the requested delivery date on the next day. The site confirmed the order and the delivery date. Today was the delivery date. We waited all day for the delivery and Teleflora would not divulge the name of the florist they had assigned the order to. I called Teleflora twice during the day for status and was only told the order was out for delivery. They would not even give me a time window other than to say it could be as late as 7 pm. That was never mentioned when I placed the order! Well, the order finally arrived at 5:30 - after we waited all day. What really ruined the whole experience even further was that the delivery instruction specifically stated "don't block the door". So what did the driver do? Put the flowers right in front of the door so that it could not be opened without knocking the flowers down the steps! We had to go out of the house through a different door and walk around on the outside of the property to get to the door where the flowers were left. Horrible delivery experience! Won't use Teleflora again - they are not customer friendly at all - and certainly will not use this flower shop again!
