He took the time to do a thorough assessment, x-rays, and clearly explain everything he was seeing and doing, which made me feel informed and comfortable throughout the visit. He did an adjustment as well and was very gentle, which meant a lot because I was anxious about increasing the pain I've already been dealing with over the past year. After…read moreexperiencing severe Covid few years ago, I started experiencing persistent breathing problems, sleep issues and severe anxiety along with aggravation in back pain. All the heart and lung scans, and blood tests requested by conventional doctors were negative and I was asked to just live with the breathing issues which were told to be common after Covid and take over counter pain killers for my back pain. I didn't want to take medicine all my life and solve the root case. These issues did not let me have any restorative sleep each night and also affected my work and left me no energy to take care of my young kids when schools opened up after pandemic and everything moved "on-site". I did visit a Chiropractor in Redmond three years ago who hurt me and pinched a nerve in my right shoulder and I was little wary trying out Chiropractic treatment again. After a bout of TMJ recently coupled with so many health concerns which my conventional doctors seemed to give up on, I found Dr Ben while querying ChatGPT for skilled Chiropractor on the East side and felt peaceful and restored right after the first session with him. I walked away feeling less blurry in my left eye and felt lot of my anxiety melt away after the first adjustment he performed on my neck and upper back. It felt like a miracle! So there I went and she was correct. Dr Ray was very accurate with what was I feeling regarding hip and back. He was very patient with my mtiple trigger points. He applied hot and then a pressure massage. Finally he popped my spine releasing my hip! Yay :) He is very transparent and would tell you if you need visits. Dr. Tetuan takes a different (and refreshing) approach to treatment than any other Chiropractor I've seen previously. Until finding Adam, every other Chiropractor I've seen has instantly insisted on x-rays, then "diagnosed" me in five minutes, followed by a 30-minutes sales pitch on how I needed to buy a "package" of visits from them so I could come in for treatment three times a weeks for the rest of my life. Adam did none of this: he listened to me, took time to thoroughly evaluate me, arrived at a diagnosis and prognosis, and then presented me a reasonable conservative plan for recovery. In addition to being an excellent Chiropractor, Dr. Tetuan is one of the nicest people you will ever meet: he's not pretentious, smarmy, or pushy (traits found in many medical professionals); rather, he's humble, kind, funny, and as genuine a human being as you'll ever meet. I highly recommend Dr. Tetuan! Side note: I cannot help but comment on the bogus one star review from the alleged Veronika M.; almost assuredly there is some ulterior motive behind this review. Her claim is that, after a single neck manipulation, she developed chronic neck and back pain. First, we can safely assume that Veronika is not a medical professional; hence, her self-diagnosis cannot be given any weight. Second, she claims she posted her scathing one-star review because she felt she had a "responsibility" to do so (presumably to warn others); however, she posted her review more than ten years--an entire decade!--after the alleged injury; clearly her motive in posting her review is not a benevolent one. Veronika's claim/contention has serious logic problems. She implies that Dr. Tetuan's single manipulation of her neck is the source of her current neck and back pain; however, she also indicates that after a single course of anti inflammatories her pain went away for more than a year, UNTIL she was in a car accident. So, she was continually without pain for more than a year until she was in a car accident, but pins her pain on Dr. Tetuan, and not the car accident. Preposterous. As someone in the legal profession I can tell you that Veronika's post smells very much like an ever increasing scam where an unscrupulous patient baits their doctor by posting a scathing online review in the hope that their doctor will post a public response/rebuttal. The unscrupulous patient (who usually makes sure their post overtly mentions "privacy concerns") then claims their doctor's response (which might contain a date of service, or vaguely mention the type of treatment provided) violates HIPPA Privacy Rules. The patient then uses the alleged violation to extort from the doctor some type of cash settlement. I strongly suggest that Veronika's review be summarily disregarded: at best it is a disjointed, unverifiable, libelous, and weak attempt to sully Dr. Tetuan's good name; at worst it is an attempt to extort money from him. No one asked me to write this review, I just feel I have a responsibility to defend good providers against the unscrupulous acts of people like Veronika.

After looking at his Yelp page(s) and his website (the URL listed on Yelp is wrong), he looked a bit sketchy to me. But we were out of options, so we decided to give him a try. We're so glad we did! It turns out that Dr. Kevin has "clinics" in both Kirkland and Renton. We chose to meet him at the Kirkland clinic today. After/while filling out a relatively lightweight set of paperwork (yay!), Dr. Kevin did a great job listening to our story and he asked good questions. Eventually he asked my husband to move in specific ways, and Dr. Kevin poked / prodded him in some areas to identify the source of the problem. Dr. Kevin took some time to explain his conclusions, as well as his proposed treatment. My husband agreed to the treatment and so we got started with that... After some adjustments, I could tell that my husband's movement had improved quite a bit already. Dr. Kevin rounded out the visit by giving my husband instructions on exercises and how to ice the sore spot over the next couple days. The cost for the visit was reasonable and straightforward. We don't have insurance at the moment, so he swiped our HSA card using his phone. If we have any questions, we can text him. Dr. Kevin strikes me as a solid, honest, easy-going professional. Early on, he mentioned that my husband likely would need a follow-up visit in a couple days, but since Dr. Kevin wouldn't be in Kirkland during that time, we'd likely need to see a different chiropractor. Because my husband's mobility improved a lot during the initial visit, we've decided to drive to Renton for the next visit - even though there are other chiropractors with offices much closer to where we live.
