I was suffering from back shoulder blade pain for close to a year. It had gotten so bad I could not get a full night of sleep. I had a series of three treatments with Dr. Woo (am from out of town). And these treatments jumpstarted my recovery. Dr. Woo provided me with at home stretches and exercises, and after about 1 month- my upper back problem was gone! Thank you Dr. Woo. Highly recommend!!! read more

I've seen multiple chiropractor for my back and shoulder pain before a friend introduced me to Dr. Woo. Hands down she is the best chiropractor I've ever visited. The way she adjust my back and neck is so on point, and she's the only practitioner who did not make my muscle tense up when adjusting the neck/shoulder area. Most recently I went there for the pain on my feet. I've had tried multiple different insole without any progress. She suggested to do some stretching and she also gave me this custom insole. It is so much more comfortable now. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a chiropractor who cares for you and educate you. read more

I have struggled with back issues for years. I have yet to find a good dr. who cares about their patients the way Dr. Woo does. I recently went to Dr. Woo in tremendous pain, I could barely move. Numbness in my arms. Just miserable and here are the reasons I will continue to see her: -Immediate response -Professional and kind (because of how intense my pain was she did a follow up text the night I saw her and the next day!! No other Chiro has ever done this for me!) -Amazing patience experience -Direct & reasonable about wellness care -Thoughtful when dealing with her customers and their pain -Accommodating -Clear expectations on how long it would take to reach 100% wellness again -Up to date on new procedures and education -Dr. Woo creates a safe space for healing In 3 visits I have gone from miserable to myself again. Because of the trust, I have tried new methods for wellness and so glad I did. I would recommend her to anyone! read more

Dr. Woo is hands down the best chiropractor I have ever been to. I originally saw her for neck pain, which she was able to pinpoint the problem and fix within a couple visits, but have since seen her for other things such as migrainea, low back pain and kidney stones. I had a large stone that was unable to pass on its own and she was able to break it up with her magic laser. In the past, I have been skeptical of chiropractors, but Dr. Woo has gained my trust, so much that I have referred my co-workers and family to her. I am so happy I have found her! read more

I met Dr. Woo when she first came to my clinic for a visit. I was very impressed with her and I told her about my neck and shoulder issues. She asked me to come see her so I did. She has such great strong hands. And it's not just 5 min visit to a chiropractor. It's 30 min of manual work with her hands and stretching on her machine, then activator all over plus manual adjustment if needed. She has been helping me with my neck and shoulder from chronic use on the computer and mouse. I am sure there are many out there in the tech world who has similiar problems. Well, I am a family physician who spends all day in front of a computer charting. Although I am a physician, I believe in trying to heal more naturally before steroid injection and surgery. She and I have the same belief. I am about 80 % better. I am confident I will be back to my baseline in the next month or two. Give her a try. When a doctor goes to see her, she must be good. read more

As if this amazing lady needs ANOTHER 5 star review!!!! But in all honesty, she's super great. I work best in bullets, so here goes- 1. Super friendly, and makes you feel right at ease! Literally feels like a friend that you haven't seen in a million years, but no time has passed by... even if you've never met her, ever. 2. Very professional!! She will ask where you are stressed, how you want to be treated, or if anything feels uncomfortable. Very attentive to your needs, and very knowledgeable about the human body. Will be very direct and precise in answering curious cats like myself. 3. Feels amazing! I believe I once called her fingers 'little fairies strategically stomping about on my shoulders.' Legit superhuman healing fingers. Definitely A+ experience coming here! I was able to bring my pup once, when I was without a sitter, too :D Thank you, Dr. Swoooooooooo! read more

I've been having knee pain for about 1.5 years now and after seeing a sports medicine doctor, getting a cortisone injection and trying physical therapy, nothing seemed to completely help. I always felt like the doctor was trying to cover up my pain instead of trying to find the cause. In fact, my doctor wanted to resort to surgery, which I didn't believe I was ready for. Recently, a friend of my husband recommended that I see Dr. Woo who happened to be visiting the Bay Area. She was able to quickly diagnose my problem, explaining why I was having the pain and what I was doing that caused it and went straight to work at massaging the muscles around my knee. This was my first chiropractic experience and to any newbies out there, I must warn you - it hurts! But, in a weird way, it also instantly makes you feel better. By the end of my session, I was so relaxed and my knee felt like it used to - normal. I was so impressed by Dr. Woo's knowledge and how she explained exactly what she was doing and always checking in to make sure I felt okay. She was patient and answered any questions I had with more information that I had ever received from my SM doctor. Dr. Woo spent at least an hour with me and after our session, my knee almost felt new again. She also gave me tips on foam rolling and stretches I could do to keep my knee feeling in tip top shape. I have since been keeping up with these and they do work wonders. Pros: - expertise and knowledge of her area - she answered all questions I had without hesistation - patient bedside manner and extremely caring about her patients - thoroughness - she really took her time and did not rush the session - effectiveness - her techniques, while painful, did wonders - even though I saw her for my knee, she also through in a quick "whole body adjustment" which made me sleep like a baby that night :) Cons: - her office is in Washington and not here in the Bay Area where I live :) Though a great excuse to vacation there often! read more

Dr. Woo is an outstanding chiropractor who has garnered my respect of her expertise. Over the past 20+ years, I've seen a number of chiropractors, but, Dr. Woo will always be at the top of my list of preference. Though, I wish I could offer a scientific or factual list of reasons as to why, it simply comes down to the fact that I believe she is truly gifted. Dr. Woo's extensive educational background, continued pursuit of medical, holistic and wellness knowledge as well as practice experience provide a credible foundation of her qualifications in this field of health and wellness. Though I have seen a few others with similar backgrounds, Dr. Woo continuously and consistently gives me the precise type of treatment that not only corrects my upper cervical and lower back problems, but, offers the type of guidance and wellness protocol for preventative measures. She is passionate about her field and takes the time to listen to your issues. She asks many pertinent questions to gather all your information in a very light and personable manner. It actually feels like I am not only getting the proper type of treatment from Dr. Woo, but I am almost getting a treat when I do get to visit her office (as she is no longer located near me). The release my body feels after an adjustment by Dr. Woo is so noticeable and immediate, I actually feel like a whole new person when I walk out of her office. Without any hesitation I recommend Dr. Woo for your physiological ailments and wellness care. read more

Dr. Woo has an Amazing ability to "read" your body. She truly has a gift!! She has helped me manage my migraines after years of suffering. She has also really helped with my sinus problems. I actually fell down stairs yesterday and really hurt my back and tailbone. I came in with a pain level of 7 and left with a 1- which was probably just bruised muscle from the fall. She is professional and still very relatable. She has a fun spirt and a good since of humor. I am so thankful I found her!! read more

I had the worse neck and shoulder pain last April and due to my skepticism in chiropractors, I researched many chiropractors before seeing Dr. Swoo's website. Minus her credentials (which are fabulous by the way), her profile spoke to me and I was a ease to give her try. Since going to ChiroConcepts, my neck has felt less tense and I've not had any returning pain. Dr. Swoo is not only professional and knowledgeable, but also a fun to talk to and humorous. She doesn't up-sale and has her client's best interest. I can't say this for any other chiropractor I've had, so I'd definitely recommend her! read more

This is my first time seeing any chiropractor in general. I've started to have back pain for a few months now and always avoided going to have it checked out. I am extremely happy that I was able to book a last minute appointment with Dr. Woo! She is very knowledgeable and personable. Most new doctors I've encountered had made me feel awkward. She answered any questions I had at the moment. I will continue to see her for all my back problems :) ! read more

I have been looking for a doctor like Dr. Swoo!!! As a dancer and fitness instructor, I have never found "the one" who makes my body feel not only better, but in top working condition. Dr. Woo is amazing. I've since moved to Texas and I surely miss the great care i recieved with her. After the way things went with my last car accident... I will just say I was not looking forward to getting treatment. So when I say Dr. Woo has been the best chiropractor I could ask for, it's probably an understatement. I initially came in (from the MVA) with really bad neck, shoulder, hip and back pain. She took her time to figure out what would work best for me personally, and made me feel extremely comfortable which is (for me) very important in a healing setting. We (I say "we" like she isn't the one doing all the magic, ha) targeted the problem areas with massage, cupping, taping, lasers, you name it. She is absolutely the best at what she does and I can't thank her enough. Now that we are nearing the end of our treatments I can confidently say she has gone above and beyond to help with anything that I bring to her. There has not been a time she did not seem genuinely interested in helping me get better, and her adjustments can literally turn my whole week around in a matter of minutes. You can't go wrong picking Dr. Woo, she will have you smiling and feeling better all in one visit! read more

Dr. Woo is personable, attentive, knowledgeable, intuitive, and extremely gifted at what she does. She genuinely cares about every single one her patients. She always goes the extra mile and was always willing to help me with my neck injury even outside of her work hours. There is literally no other Chiropractor like her. There is a reason why her ratings are the way that they are. You have to be crazy to not love her! THANK YOU DR. WOO!! read more

Dr. Erin Thorlakson is the best Chiropractor hands down! She's extremely detail oriented and caring. If you're looking for high quality care and to actually get well I recommend Dr. Thorlakson, the best chiropractor in Bellevue! read more

I moved here a few weeks back and based on other reviews tried Chiro Concepts. Dr. Woo was quick to see me and during the first visit I was able to get instant neck pain relief. She is high energy, sincere and encouraging! read more

1/25/14 - Just had another Amazing adjustment with Dr. Swoo and I feel ready for the world again! When I started with her I was having regular "pinning" headaches and pain that radiated into my shoulder and hand. Now, I can barely remember them. These results leave me to say that Dr. Woo and Chiropractic Concept is as good as it gets! In fact, 5 stars is an understatement. Dr. Woo is an extraordinary physician who goes over and beyond what's unfortunately become known as "customary" adjustments. And, afterwards, she douses us (her patients) with some of the comforts of home. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and care she provides. I highly recommend her! In fact, no matter what your prior experience might have been, good; bad; or indifferent; you will NOT be disappointed. I make the extended drive, negotiating the horrendous traffic, from the southern Renton area, to see her. I wouldn't have it any other way. She is just that special; someone that I hope to have on my preventative health team for many years to come! read more

I can't even begin to say how much I love going to ChiroConcept! Dr. Woo (Swoo as I call her) is amazing and was so helpful when I first came to her when dealing with a fender bender. Not only did she help with my back issues but she was so consultative in dealing with the insurance companies and helping me deal with the situation as a whole. She's not like any other chiropractor where you're just another client, she's your friend and she cares! I've recommended her to just about everyone I know. read more

Dr. Woo is one of the few amazing medical professionals I'd recommend. She not only attends to the problems of pain, but targets the initial source of the problem. She listens and does her very best to apply every treatment in her possession for your needs. I recently slipped and fell on my house stairs, I had difficulties standing on both feet with the slightest bending of my back, sitting correctly in any chair(that included the use of the donut), squatting, standing on one leg, and sleeping in any position. Dr. Woo did an awesome job of constantly assessing my spine, treating places that needed attention, and making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session, and also during the laser and cupping session. And I can't forget about her wonderful anti gravity chair, LOVE it! And yes, although I didn't leave completely healed and free of pain, I had positive results. I was able to lift my legs with much less pain and balance on one leg with less pain. And sitting in the driver's seat properly was a huge plus. No more reclining ganster chair, no alternating from one cheek to the other. I still have pain, but not as much as I came in with, and having more movement with less limitations, really speaks a lot about Dr. Woo's treatments. I continue to only see her for any of my adjustments, and also for my son. Yes she treats Kids of any age. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, and fantastic Chiropractor with a positive attitude, whether you live in Washington or just visiting, I highly recommend Dr. Stephanie Woo! read more

I have been having foot and ankle issues for a few years and decided it's time to take care of it. I saw a podiatrists, foot surgeons, and chiropractors in the past but continue to have issues. Dr. Stephanie Woo had solid reviews and many people said she helped them with issues, so I decided to schedule an appointment. Visit 1: Shared information about my issues and got a treatment that consists of massage, cupping, adjustments, and lasers. Visit lasted roughly 45 mins. Foot felt better for a few days then went back to being the same. Dr. Woo seemed very knowledgeable and friendly, so I scheduled follow-ups hoping to see long term results. Visit 2: Similar to first visit and applied tape at the end. Visit was 30 mins. Visit 3: Similar routine and added rolling to the calves to relieve inflammation. This helped relieve some pain for a few days. Visit was roughly 30 minutes. Visit 4: Got a 5 minute calf massage and then another patient arrived so the doctor left the room momentarily. I then got a 2-3 minute adjustment and that was the end of the visit. She seemed to have another patient booked at the same time, so I was in and out in 8 minutes! I'm paying roughly $45/visit and taking time out of my day and work schedule to fix a pain issue, so this really upset me. I paid for the visit but that would be my last one at this clinic. Paid a total of ~$265 for the 4 visits ($130 for first visit, $45 for each follow up). I got some good recommendations on stretching and icing, but I already knew about both of these. I think I would benefit more from a 1 hour massage once a month rather than 2 visits at the same price or higher. Dr. Woo: Please spend more time with your patients. If you accidentally double book, you should spend adequate time to address issues with the first patient you take before moving to the next one. If you intentionally overbook, then you're focusing more on making money than on your patients, which is bad for your practice. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Woo's for over a year now. She's very knowledgeable about her practice and I feel that she really cares about how her patients are doing. Each of my visits (20+) has been a pleasant experience. When I started going, I didn't have any issues bothering me and only wanted to get a general health assessment. Since then, I've encountered multiple injuries, picked up from the gym. Every time I run into issues, Dr. Woo helps sort them out and I feel like I make a far quicker recovery due to her efforts. With her help, I have become more in tune with my own body and am better able to discern when I should push myself further or back off. On top of the adjustments, she advises me on what exercises or movements I should be extremely careful on or avoid altogether, even though she knows I'm stubborn and will rarely heed her advice. Keep it up, Dr. Woo, you're awesome! read more
