Update is that still unable to download the files after trying various different things and they still have not provided more information. Because they are doing your whole body the timing/sequence of their imaging is faster than diagnostic so they miss a lot. I don't want to say that people will not find a few things and it is a quick way to get general information that can help you with your health decisions so if you have the money perhaps but it's very limited, I personally might do it once every 5 years or so but not sure I will spend that kind of money annually unless they can improve the technology for scanning within a one hour time block and given the position you are laying in because that also impacts what they can tell you. They did find one thing for me for follow up and I know someone else where they found one thing for follow up. read more

I give Prenuvo a 2 because they do find valuable information. This is my 2nd time using Prenuvo. The 1st time I used Prenuvo I did a full body MRI. Prenuvo sat on results for 2 weeks before they released them to me and the person telling my results was not competent. This 2nd Prenuvo I did the executive. I got my MRI results back in 5 days. Prenuvo scheduled my consultation for 2 months out. A week before my consultation, Prenuvo sent me an email and canceled for no reason. I called and stated my labs, brain scan, and body composition was not released to me. I had labs that needed urgent following up just sitting there. Very frustrating. What's the point of doing all this if they are just sitting on the results. You have to be very proactive and follow up. read more

What started out as a great experience has turned into a nightmare. The center that I went to was nice and the staff were professional. I was told that I would get my results in five weeks. Close to eight weeks later, I had to reach out for my results, and an appointment was scheduled for an online visit. No one showed up for the visit and when I called in, I was told the appointment was canceled though no one told me that. A new appointment was scheduled for the following week. I sat staring at my screen for 20 minutes but no one ever showed up. For the price of the screening I would expect white glove service and would have been fine with average service. My husband and I debated doing the scan because it seems like doctors don't love it - and why not? They say it can cause needless worry. I did find some minor things to follow up on but that brings me comfort to know I can take early action. Now I have more knowledge about my health and a baseline to compare with future scans. The scan itself was really easy. I'd pick out a suspenseful Netlix movie prior to arrival as it keeps you distracted during the scan. So many balls dropped. -For people w claustrophobia, it was made clear that they could offer an anti-anxiety pill, however, it was not made clear, a prescription needed to be written and filled before the MRI appointment. -Technicians don't know side effects from the EMFs even when you ask specifically, does the machine cause nauseousness. I received electromagnetic poisoning, and my first indicator was nauseousness the second I sat up from the machine, vertigo the next day and a rash over my organs to follow. -20 minutes of time is ridiculous to go over your scan. Paying $2500 for a scan should give you the necessary time to review the results. Really feeling corporate greed here. Super disappointing. It took nearly an hour to go over results and 2 phone calls. The two nurse practitioners went overtime by 10 minutes each. I am a physician myself and sent my mom for a prenuvo scan earlier this year. Prenuvo missed a uterine sarcoma on her scan--- a very serious and aggressive cancer. This has caused my family and I immense damage and pain as we navigate this terrible cancer journey now. I have contacted Prenuvo twice about this very serious mistake they made. They refuse to call me back or address their failure to read the MRI appropriately. I have serious concerns about their lack of quality control and the quality of the Radiologists reading their scans. Prenuvo is selling false reassurance and they must stop misleading consumers. We had the head of radiology at a well-respected academic institution review my mom's MRI scan. He noted that this was gross negligence on prenuvo's part. Be careful folks. read more

Prenuvo is where you get full body MRIs, they promise less radiation and more data. The cost is approximately $2500. The office is clean and nice. You need to wear surgical gown and women with breasts need to wear the provided bra (because no nylon is allowed). If you have large breasts you cannot wear the bra provided (XL is the max) then you won't see your breasts on the imaging, this is discriminatory service and should be addressed. Prior to your scanning you need to have fasted. You spend 70 minutes or longer in the MRI machine, they have TV you can watch from the machine. The results of this were disappointing at best for me. The problem with data and testing is how you present it and in this case I was emailed the results to a web portal. None of the data was presented in detail so most likely my doctors won't take this report seriously. The report read like a narrow understanding of problems in the body, and I would not be surprised if they misread my results. My follow up phone consultation was cancelled by Prenuvo, because Meredith the RN supposedly called 2x and it never rang. I have now received 4 phone calls from Prenuvo asking me to help with their phone issue, this is not my responsibility and it's a disrespectful way to treat a client. They were unable to handle this phone issue when it was part of my service, but seem to know how to call me just fine. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service when there was an actual a problem is indicative of a bad service design plan. If you have to tell a multiple customers they have a "bad phone setting", but this phone call is a requirement of your service - then perhaps your business need to redesign your phone system (otherwise once again it sounds discriminatory when you are picking and choosing which customers get helped). I recently was told I have a serious issue via imaging at an actual hospital, as well as I have a history of cysts and tumors in a specific location and somehow none of this was on my Prenuvo results. I think Prenuvo is a great concept but the reality borders on pseudoscience. I was hopeful to get some answers after paying for this $2,500 "full body scan" that claims to be revolutionary and supposedly cares about its customer. Prenuvo was very accommodating in getting your business and scheduling your MRI. Once the MRI is complete- (2-3 weeks after MRI) they provide all MRI images that include the pathology identified without a medical doctor or nurse practitioner consultation. At the time of receiving the MRI you receive a very impersonal text message to book the initial consultation 2-3 weeks out from receiving your MRI images. Once I joined the consultation meeting (2.5 weeks after receiving my MRI) I sat on hold for over 1 hour of my appt. time until one of 22 "providers" took my meeting. Happily I have already booked time with my own doctor to go over my results and to decide on next steps. I appreciate the comprehensive and informative MRI images but their "consultation" is a waste of time. Very poor customer service. read more

Useless! Here's my experience. Prenuvo was very good about signing up, collecting and getting a whole-body MRI done. The clinic was well organized, courteous, and efficient. They're marketing is aggressive, especially for repeat scans, but that's not unexpected. Waits were not very long and the actual scan, which took about 30 minutes, was professional and done well. But then the problems started... getting the scan results in english. Upon completion of the scan I was handed a CD with the results. Or so I thought. A couple days later, as I recall, I was emailed that my report was ready and available on the website. I logged on without a problem and spent an hour or so reading the scan, which was mostly in latin and medicalese - i.e., only marginally comprehensible to laypersons. I printed a one-page summary and scribbled some notes and logged off. I was orally assured at the clinic that my doctor would get a copy and I should review it with him or her. No problem, except between my schedule and my doctor's, I knew it would be a few months before we'd be able to meet and there wasn't anything urgent to address. It turned out to be six months... but I wasn't worried. I had the CD with all the info on it, right! When I finally got together with my doc, he did not have a CD reader so we couldn't download it. He also never got the report, neither a paper nor electronic version. He had his assistant call Prenuvo and request it, but nothing has arrived yet. Still, not too concerned I told my doc that I'd go home and copy the report to a pdf file and email it to him. That turned into at least a half-day's nightmare. To read the CD, you need to have Horos software. The version of Horos on the CD did not work. So I went to the Horos website to download the app. That turned into a 2 hour plus ordeal as you have to sign up and "join" Horos, whiich is a membership organization, find the right version of the app, and download it to your laptop. That took from a half hour to an hour to figure out but eventually I got the app and started to use it. It read the CD no problem... all 2050 images that took at least an hour to load. It's all raw data on the CD; no report or summary in english. In other words - it's useless to anyone except a medical professional with IT skills, experience reading MRIs, and a half day to figure out what they're looking at. (Btw, the quality of the 2,000+ images could use some improvement but that'll probably get fixed in five years.) I called Prenuvo several times over a few hours and no one ever answered the phone. I finally left a message requesting a copy of my report with identifying info from six months earlier and a copy to my doctor. Still don't know if that or any other message left at Prenuvo was ever received let alone complied with. Then it dawned on me from looking at the one-page summary I printed six months earlier, that maybe the report was still online so I went to the Prenuvo website. Of course I'd forgotten the password but after several attempts over a half hour I managed to get online! The 20+ page report was there! Success! Wrong! I couldn't figure out how to download it and after most of an hour spent trying, I finally gave up in frustration. I had already spent three hours or so trying to get useful info from my scan, without success. I left another message on Prenuvo's unanswered phone line, a little more frustrated and exasperated, and turned off my computer. Back at it in the early afternoon now. I tried to get back on Prenuvo's website to download the report. I couldn't get on; don't know why but the system just doesn't like me. I called Prenuvo several times. Again, no one ever answered the phone. Exasperated I left an angry message on their phone... and still haven't gotten a response, been able to log on, or get the report. After wasting the better part of a day, I've concluded that Prenuvo, who relies heavily on electronics rather than humans, is not all it's cracked up to be. What good is a $2,500 whole-body scan, or anything else, if the results cannot be communicated? I just can't wait to see how DOGE and AI is going to "improve" delivery of our medical system and further waste our time chasing marginal electronics. Around July 5th 2024 I called up United Healthcare, and asked them if I am covered for my costs that I would incur if my wife + I went with Prenuvo for an MRI scan. I had already asked my primary care doctor, and they said they would not do it, even though I do have coverage for MRI scans. They deemed it not medically necessary even though I was covered. Pretty typical of the crappy medical community we have in the USA. UHC confirmed they would cover it 70% since it was out of network, if I provided the proper paperwork. Prenuvo does not do claims, and UHC said they require a super bill which includes tax id number, CPT codes, place of service, etc. I was fine with submitting the claim myself, but I wanted to be sure I would be provided the necessary paperwork and details so I could get coverage via my medical provide. So I had the UHC representative call up Prenuvo to check if they provide that. Prenuvo said they do, and even emailed me the CPT codes from their "ambassador". So I decide to book the appointment. I'm also fully paid on my UHC deductible for 2024 year, so it would be 100% covered from UHC as long as the claim paperwork was good. My wife and I do our scan in Dec 2024, and get our receipt and it is not a superbill. I call them up, and they said as of June 2024, they do not provide super bills. But the communication I got from their "ambassador" was on July 5th 2024, and that was also around when the UHC representative called them to confirm they do provide that information. So they sent me codes that they knew were no longer used, and also assured me I would get CPT codes when I got my scan, knowing that they did not provide CPT codes anymore since July is after June. They just wanted to close the sale. I have called multiple times, talked to multiple people, including their completely useless front desk staff such as Misa who just regurgitate whatever crappy training they have received, Vithushan Aravienthan who was the ambassador who sent me the false inaccurate CPT codes confirming he spoke with us in an email, Corey Tam who is a patient experience lead who acted very nice but basically just submitted a ticket to upper management and didn't resolve the issue at all... and when he submitted the ticket I guess it went to a woman named Latasha. She confirmed in her voicemail to me they do not provide CPT codes as of June 2024. They do not have an onsite supervisor position, so they cannot provide me any CPT codes. Did not indicate how she could resolve the issue, and totally ignored all points in my email I had sent to Corey. I called her back and she did not pick up. So UHC won't pay because I can't provide the proper paperwork that Prenuvo has access to and promised to give me. Prenuvo won't even attempt to give me any real solutions to me submitting my claim. It has no affect on them. They are already paid. They just need to provide 2 pieces of paper, and refuse to do so. They won't even manually generate them. Because they did not fulfill what they said they would, I'm left with a $5000 dollar hit because I did a full body scan for both my wife and I under the indication they would provide a superbill with CPT codes, tax id and everything else needed for me to submit a claim to UHC. And of course we all know UHC is useless as well, because they don't want to pay anything. We all know who Luigi is now... I even sited actual law to Prenuvo on the following. I decided to go to Prenuvo for a full body MRI after my breast cancer journey in 2023. Although I was considered cured in August following mastectomy with sentinel node biopsy and 6 rounds of chemotherapy, I was anxious that it may be hiding elsewhere. The team at Prenuvo were amazing to deal with and the whole procedure was seamless. My results did show some areas of concern and now I feel more in control to discuss each concern with my primary care physician and I have a baseline to compare changes in my body with future scans. I can't recommend them. I know from prior imaging studies that I have fatty liver and a kidney cyst. Neither are serious, but the report missed them both. When I pointed it out to them they revised the report but gave no indication that they had reviewed my scans again. My concern is that if they missed two obvious findings what else did they miss? The whole point of using Prenuvo, at considerable expense, is for early detection and peace of mind. Their service provided neither. read more

Wow, I am so thankful to have this screening tool available!! My experience with Prenuvo was incredible. I was able to get a last minute appointment because of a cancellation so I'm SO thankful for that, I was becoming anxious with worry and there wasn't an available appointment until the next month. I came in that day and everything and everyone in the office was so wonderful. It was so nice to be watching Netflix while the scan was going, otherwise I might have been anxious. I had my scan done close to the holidays so unfortunately my scan took closer to 15 days to get results so I was definitely nervous waiting for results. I'm thankful for the information they gave me about informational finding in my spin and ankle. The only thing I was bummed about was the nurse practitioner I had a phone call with didn't have access to my videos/pictures from the scans (except for what was on my report of the findings) so I couldn't ask her any questions about the scans outside of the informational findings. I guess they need a radiologist to answer any additional questions about the scan, extra $2000. but over all I'm so thankful to have this sort of technology available and I highly recommend Prenuvo!! read more

Seems like the reviews are either 5 or 1 stars. Compared to other similar services, prenuvo was a much better experience. That includes the report. it was much more detailed than what others that offer a similar service, provide. It took a while but when I did my scan the lady had said it could take up to 15 business days (ie 3 weeks) and it was close to that. While that's quite a wait, they did say as much and over the holidays they also sent an email to everyone saying they had a very busy period. As with everything, your mileage may vary. I personally had a positive experience and will do it again. I don't expect it to be perfect but I find value in it. Others might not. read more

Raised more questions than answers. The website doesn't even try to present the results so that a lay person can read it and when I needed support the only person that tried to help me before putting me on hold was the receptionist. They said I have an enlarged 3 cm *********** in my chest and since then I have spent time and money going to Drs and getting ultrasounds and they found nothing. My Dr. just by looking at me said if I had a 3 cm enlarged *********** I would know it but still sent me to get an ultra sound. here are my worries, Maybe the person at Prenuvo misread my results and the enlargement is elsewhere in my body but see, Prenuvo does not give support nor answer my emails. I will wait 1 more week and if I do not get support and someone to answer me what went wrong I will be doing a charge back on my credit card. An MRI for one body part usually takes one hour so doing an MRI of your whole body in 1 hour does not provide a detailed enough report to show anything. They are responsive when they want to sign you up but after the fact the customer service is terrible. You wait on hold to talk to someone, then it goes to voicemail and no one calls you back. Like others who have commented here, I would definitely not recommend prenuvo. I had a full body scan to follow up on some previously diagnosed conditions and growths. I wanted to check on my health status more frequently than the once a year scan that my insurance approves. But the prenuvo mri did not identify any of the conditions that had been identified by my prior hospital mri. So for me it was a complete waste of money. I would be concerned about people getting a false sense of security by these scans, which could be potentially harmful. The young ladies at the front desk are all very nice and cordial, but that is all I got for my $2500. read more

My whole-body Prenuvo scan was quite an experience! The clinic was clean and has changing rooms and a nice resting area with coffee and snacks, there were 5 friendly staff onsite - 2 at front desk and 3 inside the scan room. I was asked to change into scrubs and put all personal belongings in a locker. Then I was led into the scan room. The machine looked new and bigger than those old school MRIs. I was asked to lay on a platform, they put a bunch of stuff around me to secure my position, then the scan began - head first, followed by chest scan, during which I was asked to do a breathing exercise - breath in, breath out and hold for 15seconds, that repeated for like 10mins. The voice instruction was loud and clear, and you get used to it after the first couple rounds. After that you can relax while the rest of the body gets scanned. The entire process took around 75mins. Like all MRI machines it makes all kinds of noises and pretty loud, they gave me a headphone which helped a bit. I chose to listen to music, you can also choose to watch Netflix - there's a screen on top. The results were ready in about 10 days, then they scheduled a call to go over everything in details with me. There were some interesting findings on my liver that I never knew! Thanks to Prenuvo now I'm getting the issues addressed. 5 star experience across the board, highly recommended for anyone that cares about your own health! read more

A manager apologized but couldn't be bothered to help me get my results. In the end, I got zero information. My results showed several positive findings and with follow up test some small things were verified such as ovarian cyst, but serious findings were not validated through addition scans/ultrasounds. Most of my doctors find these teat cause panic in patients but as technology increases they are excited about the future of preventive scans. When they are more a irate insurance will begin to pay. For years I've imagined how nice it would be if a service like Prenuvo existed. Prenuvo checks all of the boxes I had. Scans that are full body, detailed, come with professional analysis & reports, don't take very long, an app to view the imaging and reports, a CD supplied with the imaging so I can take them with me, and that are not overpriced. Finally. Thank you, Prenuvo. The staff was friendly and accommodating from pre-scan to post-scan, answered everything I asked, and fulfilled my requests. It yielded useful information about my body and meaningful post-scan doctor consultation with follow-up recommendations. My biggest concern when I followed an Instagram ad (which almost never happens) was that it would have no pricing, but all of the pricing was right there in plain print. Transparency instead of bait-and-call-for-a-quote, it's a borderline miracle. What else? The scan is covered by my FSA/health account. I'm really not sure what more I could ask for, this is one of the best values I've seen in the medical world. Preventative medicine is gaining traction! Prenuvo didn't detect any of the 7 tumors I had been diagnosed with and waiting to get surgery on. Fortunately, I only used this scan to see if my cancer had spread; I knew I had the cancer. I recently received the total body MRI at the Prenuvo facility in Redwood City. The experience was very positive and reflected the professionalism, and technical skill of the staff. As a physician, I was very impressed with the technology that Prenuvo has developed. I was able to have a head to toe MRI in just 55 minutes. To achieve the same coverage by the currently standard MRI technology would have taken hours and multiple visits. After the MRI, I enjoyed a Zoom call from the radiologist who reviewed all the findings with me. As expected there were several minor things noted but more importantly , one significant finding that needs additional evaluation. Had it not been for the MRI I would not have become aware of this issue. I feel fortunate to have learned about it and have scheduled follow-up with my doctor. I called, I booked and I went in for my MRI. From the 1st step into the clinic I felt that the service and attention to detail was exceptional. Think Stanford Medicine but on steroids. After the visit I received my results and a consult with their medical staff and now I have the information to go my Doctor and seek further help.
