Went there recently, had a similar experience. Originally the visit was to assess his neurological health due to his wobbly legs and urinary issues. Told the cat was to be put down BEFORE a legitimate diagnosis. I work in tech/manufacturing and my whole family is in the medical field. I use logic, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking on a daily basis. I've seen, heard, and experienced all sorts of things through immersion in terms of medical. This "vet" has no fucking reason to be licensed with how she comes to her diagnosis. One of my first jobs was interning at a disability evaluation clinic. How this "vet" responds to pets would be the equivalent of saying "You should think about euthanasia" to some of the patients I've seen who have had medications on top of their medications. Absolutely disgusting with no empathy no sense of scientific method, reason, or logic behind her diagnosis. Our cat had bloodwork done at SAGE. ONE of the 3 visits to other vets we were told he does have a heart murmur, but some how she rolled some dice and came to the conclusion he had fluid in his lungs and heart failure/disease. The murmur was rated a 2/5 from one of the ER Sage vets and we were told it isn't even an issue especially if he's had it for this long. DO NOT GO HERE. EVER. I don't care what she says. If not for the lack of empathy but the lack of deductive reasoning and professionalism. I'd rather pay a thousand to go to the ER at Sage for a normal visit than to pay $300 for 10minutes of this person to pretend to play doctor. Yes she charged 300 to talk to us. The "vet" performed no bloodwork other than the normal work an intern could have done. She did a garbage job of feigning empathy, she seemed annoyed that she had to look at our cat, said he was underweight (he's an old cat, but slightly underweight), the "fluid in his lungs" that she heard was his fucking stomach, because he's on Miralax. How am I going to take you seriously when you don't even know the difference between lungs and a stomach. Jesus Christ the incompetence of this place is unbelievable. And just today we did a check up with our normal vet and for his wobbly legs and peeing and he's completely fine outside of that. She checked his heart, completely fine. I NEVER leave reviews but I need to warn you all of this place. Save your time, save your money, and potentially save your pets life from a woman that has no business in this field ever. I've worked with a lot of people from all walks, trained a lot of people with various skills, interacted with many people, and I will never be more disgusted at how this person carried themselves. You work on animals because you weren't good enough to work with people, you don't care about animals. I've heard plenty of HORRIBLE stories of malpractice. YES I AM PISSED.

Yes, that's right, I said it - I have actually enjoyed visiting this office for my dogs to be examined. Service is top notch here. Dr. Mughannam is extremely warm, personable and explanatory. He demonstrates a genuine interest in his patients and will tell you if your fur babies will need to continue with routine check-ups or not. It is evident that he is passionate about his job, working with animals, and talking about all eye and animal topics. We have shared great conversations. Dr. Puma is also very gentle, kind and friendly, especially with patients. In fact, the entire staff is awesome, including their cute office dog. Everyone here is amiable and seems to love their jobs, working with all of the patients that come in, and talking with the pet parents. What more could you ask for from any kind of office? The venue, with plenty of seating in the lobby as well as right outside the entrance door, is also always clean and tidy. Even their restroom is pristine. They also sometimes have a jar or two of treats for doggies. Did I mention their office dog? Such a cutie and the team is always happy to let you say, "Hello." Michaela, our vet tech, was actually the one who answered the phone and reassured us that coming in was the right call. She was so friendly, nurturing, and gentle with Bentley, and immediately helped put us at ease. Bentley is usually very nervous at the vet, but he did great with Michaela right away, which says a lot. Dr. Kuang was thorough, kind, and welcoming. She took the time to carefully evaluate Bentley and explain everything to us in a way that felt thoughtful and reassuring. The whole visit felt seamless and easy, which is not something you typically expect from an emergency vet. My husband and I were completely exhausted, and they made us feel just as taken care of as Bentley. The office itself was incredibly clean and aesthetically pleasing, with a comfortable waiting area, cozy chairs, and even a great selection of snacks and drinks, such nice touch that most vets dont have. My rating is solely reflective of the other staff members I interacted with at Lenity. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I have raised all of these concerns with management, and I'm confident they will (or may have already) taken the appropriate steps to address these issues, including providing additional training on professionalism, effective communication, and appropriately navigating difficult situations. I rushed my cat Honey to Lenity as soon as I saw she wasn't being herself. I filled out paperwork and was greeted by Dr. Carlson after a somewhat reasonable wait time. After assessing Honey's current state, it was determined she had to be hospitalized overnight, and her health declined rapidly. Dr. Carlson and Dr. Hart were incredibly kind and guided me through one of the most painful decisions I will ever have to make. The rest of my review is for several staff members I interacted with at Lenity. Throughout multiple touchpoints, I felt a concerning lack of empathy, and felt as though the clinic only cared about being paid. My multi-thousand dollar bill was being broadcasted to the entire staff and waiting room as I went to visit my cat after being hospitalized overnight. The woman with glasses at the front desk spoke loudly and announced to everyone, including staff and folks in the waiting room, something along the lines of "Honey's owner is here to visit and paid her invoice- we can let her in now," and also announced that I paid through CareCredit. The way this was handled was incredibly inappropriate and humiliating- no worried pet owner should ever feel as though they are only permitted to visit their baby after handing over thousands of dollars. I also want to mention this was my 3rd invoice, totaling over $12,000 within a matter of 24 hours, so I naturally had questions regarding what exactly I was being charged for and if there was any wiggle room with all of the charges. The same woman repeated "wiggle room" in the most condescending tone when I asked- further demonstrating the blatant lack of empathy and basic customer service I'd expect to receive anywhere, especially in healthcare. Please stop reading this if euthanasia is a sensitive topic. I ultimately made the decision to put my cat down, due to her rapidly declining physical state, and out of immense love. She was not herself in her final moments since she was in a lot of pain, and inadvertently bit me as I held her. We let Dr. Carlson and staff know about the bite, and Dr. Carlson gave me instructions on how to clean the wound. Before I left the clinic, one of the front desk members talked to us about the bite. They then proceeded to share graphic, inhumane, and traumatic details regarding what would happen to my cat's body if I showed any symptoms of rabies. I later found out this was incorrect information, and they would still have to proceed with this process, regardless of whether I showed symptoms of rabies or not. While I understand the county's mandatory testing protocol, these graphic details should have NEVER been shared with me as I am deeply mourning the sudden loss of my world, and I am appalled by the insensitivity of how this was handled. The details that were shared with me will continue to haunt me, and countless hours of emotional distress could have been prevented. As mentioned above, each of the incidents outlined in this review has been brought to the attention of the office manager, Kara, who has handled every concern with professionalism, compassion, and grace. That said, I believe it would be a disservice to both current and future patients not to share my experience. My hope is that Lenity takes this feedback as an opportunity for reflection, improvement, and adequate staff training.

The vet techs/staff were just as welcoming. Super supportive, and clearly experienced. They gave me helpful advice and suggestions on puppy toys, treats, and general care, which I really appreciated. I'm so glad we chose this clinic for Marshmallow and I'm looking forward to continuing her care with such a kind and knowledgeable team.

I brought both of my cats in for what I believed would be a routine ear cleaning/ear flush for an ear infection. Instead, both left the appointment in significantly worse condition. One of my cats came home with a bleeding ear immediately after the procedure. My other cat rapidly declined within hours of the ear flush. She became extremely lethargic, stopped eating, developed balance and walking issues, appeared to lose her hearing, and was clearly in pain. I rushed her to the emergency veterinary hospital that same night. The emergency veterinarians found fluid trapped deep in her ear and initially couldn't even visualize her eardrum because of the amount of fluid present. On follow-up, after removing the trapped fluid, they discovered a slit in her eardrum. Since then, she has required multiple emergency visits, medications, and ongoing treatment. She has spent weeks recovering, and she still has significant hearing loss. Unfortunately, this situation is still ongoing. If my girl does not continue to improve, the veterinary specialists have told me she may need advanced imaging (CT scan) and surgery to remove trapped fluid from her middle ear. I have been told those procedures could cost as much as $20,000. While I hope it doesn't come to that, it's heartbreaking to know that this is still a possibility following what was supposed to be a routine procedure. The emergency care alone has already cost thousands of dollars, not to mention the emotional toll of watching her suffer and wondering whether she'll ever fully recover. To the clinic's credit, they did refund the cost of the original visit after I raised my concerns. I appreciate that they acknowledged my concerns financially. However, a refund does not undo what happened or the pain, stress, and uncertainty my cats and I have endured. I understand that complications can occur with any medical procedure. What I cannot overlook is that I brought in two cats for routine ear care and both experienced serious issues afterward; one leaving with a bleeding ear and the other requiring emergency treatment within hours. Weeks later, we're still searching for answers and hoping Ruby won't need invasive surgery. I sincerely hope no other pet owner has to experience what we have. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic and would not trust them with my cats again.

He originally went in for acute back pain but has been back regularly for palliative care for his arthritis and kidney disease. It has made a tremendous difference in his comfort level. Scheduling is always easy - either online or at the front desk - and all the staff are always friendly. The room for acupuncture is very comfortable for both me and my dog, with air purifiers, a white noise machine, and a heat lamp if needed (which my dog loves). Dr. Magner is gentle and kind. She thoroughly explains her treatments and has recommended many ways for me to help my dog be more comfortable in his senior years. I am very grateful to have found South Hillsdale and Dr. Magner.
