    Ham & Cheese Croissant

Honestly the food was amazing and the coffee as well. I got the rainbow cookie latte and it was strong enough but still sweet. I also got the ham and cheese croissant. Will be going back and it was $17 for both which is reasonable!!

I will frequent here for a great specialty coffee in the neighborhood! Recently did a couple of TooGood2Go orders to try some of the pastries as well, I really enjoyed the oreo cookie! There also was a delicious green marshmallow cookie that we really enjoyed. Staff are kind and always making a suggestion when asked, which i love. They are generous with the too good to go orders! I love sitting in this shop, looking at the art. Thank you!

Prep Coffee in Matawan was such a cute little find. I got the iced Rainbow Cookie latte, and my boyfriend went for the iced Bananas Foster. They were perfectly sweet and had that creamy flavor that made me pause after the first sip. I ordered the Jersey burrito and hash browns, and he had the blueberry ricotta toast. That toast honestly surprised me. The ricotta was so smooth, and the blueberries were super fresh with just the right touch of honey. I may or may not have stolen more than one bite. Before heading out, we of course had to try their pastries. We got chocolate chip cookies, which had the texture of bread rather than a cookie but it was still good and vanilla cupcakes with mable bacon frosting, it didn't sound like it was gonna work flavor wise but it was really good. The space is cozy and has a clean, local charm to it. Although, it could get really loud in there, quick. The service felt super genuine, like they actually cared. We just sat there, enjoying our food, our drinks, and the slow Saturday energy. It's one of those spots I'll remember and want to come back to, not just for the coffee but for the whole feeling.

Wow! This blue berry latte is amazing! I will definitely come back for this! Husband loved the bagel and matcha! Super cute cafe with plenty of seating. Perfect place to work remotely. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Prep Coffee is AMAZING!!!!! This is legit such a gem. While their coffee drinks are super fun and tasty, their food is legit top notch. I highly recommend the burrata avocado toast and the egg and cheese sandwich. I love coming here on the weekends and it is such a nice change of pace from the usual bagel. You can tell their menu and dishes are expertly crafted for great flavor. The vibes are also great, the staff are the nicest and take so much pride in their drinks and food. The pastries are always freshly made, rotating different options, and they are super tempting. I usually end up with a scone! Overall I am so happy I found this place and it has become a regular spot. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Boo-latte! Comprised of espresso, milk, vanilla, marshmallow, and cold foam. Shhhh, let's keep this between us.

No trick but lots of treats! If you want great lattes or any coffee or tea beverages, this is one of Central Jersey's coffee/tea cafes to come to. For some Halloween delights, they offered some Spooky Spider Cupcakes and their very trending, "Boo-Latte." The Boo-Latte with espresso, milk, vanilla, marshmallow, and cold foam was delicious and perfect for the ghostly season. I rewarded myself here after some holiday shopping and enjoyed delicious treats and interacted with friendly baristas. Speaking of rewards, if you give them your name and phone number to sign up, you can earn one point for every two dollars and receive a five dollar discount for every 50 points you redeem. This is a well-lit environment with free wifi. There are four comfortable, fairly long tables for people to bring their laptops and get things done. I will be returning regularly to this cafe. Hope to see you there!

Growing up around the coffee business, I have become a coffee connoisseur. A local place, Prep has an urban city vibe that is very attractive. It is a great spot to work while enjoying a beverage and brunch. The menu is diverse and offers custom drinks similar to big box stores, only better styled and tasting! During the holidays I had the Boo Latte and their Pumpkin Spice. Amazing blends with subtle flavors, I marveled at their how much care they put into each drink. They have free WiFi and are open work hours only, which allows one to utilize the space in case you are tired of your home space. But my most favorite perk was their dog friendliness. I brought my puppy as we're out for a coffee walk. They welcomed him and made him a custom puppichino. While I wouldn't keep a dog with me all day, it was refreshing to see the business be so open to people with animals. I highly recommend this new coffee shop!

Be careful, there is an "admin fee" of 3% added to your check. Tax evasion? Staff is friendly and coffee is good. Ambiance is simple but sufficient for a quick stop.

My favorite local coffee spot. So many options to choose from. Breakfast & bakery items are all delicious. Place is a vibe.

Great cafe. Food was good. The French ham & cheese is great but very greasy. The chocolate chip scone was super dry and bland. Maybe it was a bad batch but me and my husband tried to split it and we still couldn't finish it. The hibiscus iced tea was good but overpriced. Cookies and cream latte was good but bland. I wouldn't do that again. Very cute layout. Service was okay but it was a bunch of young girls that were more interested in talking to themselves than helping customers. Food and drinks took a long long time.

I've been here more than once and each time did not disappoint. For this visit, ordered was a Hot Matcha Latte, lightly sweetened. The beverage, finely crafted by Kris the barista, was smooth with a nice strong matcha flavor that was creamy and light. Perfect! Pastry's baked goods and full-on small meals are made in house. Spacious large tables and free wi-fi are available for work, study or media consumption. Sign up for their rewards program. Prep is on my list coffee favorites.

absolutely love this place! I always get the chai but recently tried the cinnamon honey latte and and orange drink they had and they were both delicious! The food is always tasty too! Friendly staff and a few large tables to study, work, or hang out. The Cali burrito is a favorite of mine - it's always so good! Overnight oats were great too - not too sweet and they weren't soggy.

I love coffee and love finding new spots that aren't your typical Dunkin or Starbucks. There is plenty of parking in the back, it's attached to other businesses and under what looks like apartments. Seems the back entrance is the main one. They serve drinks, have food and pastries and are dog friendly. I got an iced pumpkin spiced latte, it was very yummy. Not too overpowered by pumpkin flavor and really enjoyable to sip on. There were several other people in here doing work. Looks like a cool place to relax and have a coffee. I'd come back for sure if I was in the area.

While I didn't stay to get work done, the space had plenty of tables, confirmed wifi, was beautiful and bright, incredibly clean and a place I would love to sit and work for a bit. The barista that took my order was kind and offered suggestions and I eneded up getting the hazelnut latte from the protein menu. Delicious! And a good way to mix up my usual iced oat milk latte. The protein portion, I learned, comes from the cold foam, which was so tasty and mixed in well to the rest of the drink. Definitley something to try. This location has a big parking area and a drive through, so really its just as convenient as it gets. Gregorys has always felt like one of those chains that doesn't actually feel like a chain. Today we came here after our daughter's graduation from preschool to let her pick out a pastry for herself. This spot is great to try out new things that you otherwise wouldn't have tried. I had a croissant a few months ago that usually is a mini croissant filled with some type of lemon custard cream with strawberries on it. It's usually in the display with the savory foods (sandwiches etc). Whatever that lemon custard cream is that they use in those is so good but those croissants are so small. I asked someone at the front if they could help me with finding something else that uses the same lemon custard and she showed me a few options. So happy I picked that purple donut pictured, it was so delicious. I highly recommend anything with that lemon custard in it. It reminds me of this lemon cream cheese icing my mother used to make for lemon cake and it is so good, but this was 10x better. All of the fruit on the pastries is always perfect. The best strawberry and blueberry quality and ripeness you could ask for (not tart at all). The employees are super kind, I feel like I'm always super self conscious going here because we always decide last second before I get ready for the day and I'm always ready to be judged by everyone I encounter for how I look , but everyone has always been super sweet here and always interacts with our daughter as well and makes it a fun experience for her. So refreshing to encounter kind people in NJ. As for everything else, I'm more of an espresso/super strong coffee person, and I usually prefer getting coffee across the parking lot at Gregory's and then eating Paris baguette's pastries with it. Paris baguette's coffee is maybe like a 7 in my personal opinion. Still an amazing spot though. I haven't tried their baguettes, and I know that's the entire point of this spot, but wow, their pastries are enough to never try anything else .

I have to update my review of this Starbucks location. There…read moreare three issues I must point out for Starbucks regulars who are planing to use this location, to keep in mind before making purchase. 1. On 11/26/2022, the cheese danish was listed $3.45/pc through display window, however, it was charged $3.65/pc. And when I called out the discrepancy, cashier said the difference was the tax (she apparently was not looking at her screen, because it clearly said item $3.65, tax $0.00) Therefore I wasn't satisfied or convinced with her answer. I pointed out to her, that banana loaf or pumpkin bread is $3.65/pc, but cheese danish is $3.45/pc. Instead of servicing customers and compensate customer the difference, and fix the technical issue after (either update computer to sync with price tag, or correct the price tag in the display window to avoid further issue), the cashier said there's nothing she can do, whatever it's in the computer it's whatever charged. *It seems there's no station manager in the store, or higher management, to take care of service issue. 2. The cheese danish was ordered warmed up, but when I open the paper bag, the cheese top was dirty (seemed like the warmed up machine needed to be cleaned) because I would hate to believe it was dirty before it was delivered to the location when it's still in the plastic bag. 3. There is a sign at the wall "Redeem Rewards Here", however, when last few times of transaction didn't count on my Starbucks App, I called Starbucks customer service, to honor my purchase towards my reward. Starbucks customer service was nice enough to honer my purchase and to give stars, but informed me that this Starbucks locates in ACME was not participating Starbucks Reward program. As much as I want one Starbucks close by, I must point this out to friends who plays Starbucks challenge to be mindful when selecting your Starbucks for your purchase. In addition to their standard menu, Abramzon and David regularly feature rotating specials and pop-ups from notable chefs. This review is about one of those. After an hour-long wait, I finally got my hands on Nini Nguyen's chicken bánh mì. With bread flown in from New Orleans' famed Dong Phuong bakery--crackly on the outside, pillowy on the inside--plus lemongrass-marinated chicken, crisp pickled veggies, mayo, and a hit of sambal, one bite instantly transported me back to my twenty-something expat days in Hanoi. Yes, it was $18, but for a sandwich that evoked that kind of nostalgia and flavor, it was worth every penny. To wash it down, I grabbed a glass of their iced Banana Bread Chai. If banana bread were a drink, this would be it; comforting, spiced, and borderline addictive. At $6 a glass, falling for their coffee program could become a dangerously delicious habit. Sure, this isn't your everyday lunch spot, but it's good to know that when the craving hits, I can swing by, splurge a little, and let my taste buds take a little vacation.
