We placed our two dogs in for a 5 night stay. I tried to speak to the staff about my concerns about one of my dogs a rescue who is scared of everything, unfortunately when I showed up they were on a two hour lunch break. I wrote a note for my fiancée to give as instructions when he dropped them off. Both these dogs stayed successfully three years ago this time however as soon as I stepped off the plane I got a message my dog needs to be picked up they won't keep him. i had nobody to get my dog and asked if they could keep him and they told me I had till 7 pm to get him out or they will call animal control. I ended up sending a stranger to my dog to get him in a panick as they were loading my dog in the car a girl came out with my golden who was not originally being evicted. My friend said my golden was laying in urine when they saw her anyway so they felt better taking her. unfortunately when my friends tried to get my dogs out of a crate at their home my rescue (already traumatized) flipped out got his foot stuck in crate and dangled from SUV broke all his meta tarsals , friends took him to hospital 7000.00 dollars later his leg was amputated. I hold preppy pets accountable for half of this bad situation as I thought I put my pets somewhere safe so I could vacation I didn't know there was a possibility they would kick him out. Worst mistake ever made! They also had the nerve to call me right after and ask for payment for one night! When we got home we went over to question about what happened as they told us our dog bit. Three kids stood there wide eyed saying he never bit anyone he was shaking in a corner and wouldn't go outside. They said they called a owner to help and they decided my dog must go. They used a pole with a hoop to try to catch my dog to force him out and he showed his teeth because he was scared. My vet is appalled by this and said they would have boarded him safely,do not end up like me. The price is right but the care is not they are untrained, underpaid kids that do not know how to handle dogs with severe separation anxiety. I will forever regret my decision that ruined my trip and gave me a three legged dog. Find a safer place for your pets.

This is the third time that I have taken my dog to Preppy Pet Warminster. The first two times were great, the staff was wonderful and my 2 y/o dog came home tired (which was the goal). Today I was told that my dog became "a little aggressive with some of the other dogs" and "got a few scratches on his face" that were "cleaned up." This dog has no aggressive bone in his body. Our dachshund has tested his patience many a time without eliciting a response from him. He has also been to another daycare in Falls Twp on multiple occasions and had ZERO encounters like this one. When I picked him up I assumed that he would just have some minor scratches but he appears to have puncture wounds above and below his right eye. I was also informed in a voicemail that he "doesn't need to go to a vet or anything" For the record, I am a Veterinary Technician and I am currently concerned that my dog may end up with an ulcer on his eye. Also, when I tuned in to the cameras this morning and had it up in the background while working he appeared to be paying more attention to the staff coming in and out of the room than the other dogs. My main concern here is that they were not supervising closely and this whole situation could have been avoided. I'm sad to say that I don't feel comfortable bringing him back to Preppy Pet Warminster since I do not think the dogs are being properly supervised. I have uploaded photos of his injuries.

Have to update this:) My dog Lily LOVES going here and staying overnight. The staff is awesome. She cannot wait to get inside, play and hang with the other dogs. I have been coming here for over 3 years and highly recommend from my experience !

Worst kennel. My 10 month old German Shepherd puppy was put in with large breed dogs despite the fact I asked her to be kept with medium dogs because she still a puppy. 5 days into her stay she was attacked when she was put back into the dog room that was for large adults. I flew home from vacation flew over there to pick her up took her to an emergency vet she had an infected ear bite for which a portion of our ear is now gone on the top, pink eye, and kennel cough. They only have teenagers working here which I doubt actually understand the responsibility of maintaining a safe environment for dogs. I demanded a full refund and I got a full refund. You will sign a waiver of liability that protects them in case anything happens to your dog. Be where your dog can be bitten attacked scratched I've even read reviews where someone's dog was not giving medication and actually died. You will pay for all day play for your dog and what that means is your dog is kept inside in a fenced room with other dogs and no toys. It's inhumane to keep 15 to 20 dogs in a small confined space from 7 in the morning till 7 at night with the exception of a few chances to go outside. Dogs pee all over the floor they poop all over the floor and the staff does not go in immediately and clean it up. Your dog will come home smelling from walking in poop and pee and having a dried on their fur. This place is a dive

The full story of how I lost my healthy dog while she was boarding at R.C. Dog Care is on Facebook…read more Everyone has the right to make their own decision with what to do with their pets. I am just sharing my story, advocating for my Phoebe, and for Bunny who passed a month before her. I have personally had former employees reach out to me sharing that they left because they could not witness the poor treatment of the dogs any longer. Phoebe went there in 2019 and came home. This time she didn't. I hate that Bunny's owners felt this pain before me and I hope no one else ever has to lose their dog. I attached a photo that haunts me. Phoebe in the morning, hours before she was taken to the vet. She looks so scared and in the video she was having trouble breathing. They did not send us this video. I believe she should have been taken in immediately and the vet should have been told that her breathing was labored, which is what I was told (2 days after she passed) was noticed that morning by the facility. Bad things happen, but I believe this could have been avoided. I also cannot believe that after taking Phoebe to the vet and then transporting to the ER and knowing the condition she was in, THEY NEVER REACHED OUT TO MY FAMILY. THEY NEVER APOLOGIZED OR SHARED ANY CONDOLENCES. In my opinion, that is just sick. In my opinion, that shows that they did not care. I am so sorry to my sweet Phoebe that I ever brought her there, I am sorry that I was not with her, and I am so sorry that she was hurting. I won't let people forget her Phoebe should still be here. Phoebe was the sweetest dog. She was my best friend. I won't recover from this loss. RC Dog Care, I will never forgive you for this. I have attached clips of what others have said about witnessing dogs being kicked by staff, getting sick without communication, and other stories. From what I know, Phoebe had a long and painful last day. She didn't deserve that. Rest in peace sweet Phoebe and Bunny

I was impressed with their intake - we had a thorough conversation going through his checklist to get info about the cat to make sure her sitters/hosts would know specific details about the cat (how much I usually feed her, that she doesn't like being petted on the stomach, etc). At the end of the day it's just a cat and all I really cared about was making sure she had food and water and was safe, but this was so much better than boarding her in a tiny cage or having a pet sitter stop by for just a few minutes a day. Knowing she would have a decent amount of space and regular human contact gave me the peace of mind to go on vacation and just not worry or think about her.

Based upon the booking screening, it was clear that the company is professional, well-run, and focused. They provide transportation for your pet to and from their boarding stay and even provide daily pictures of your pet via text. We were very happy with the arrangements until, in the middle of our vacation, we were told that our dog had an episode of weakness and was rushed to our vet whose information we provided at booking. Andrew stayed with our pet and transported him to the overnight Emergency vet for observation. Everything turned out fine and Andrew picked up our pet to finish his stay. Andrew went out of his way and not only did everything for our pet that we could have done, but he also kept us informed and comforted. The integrity, compassion, and dedication that PetsAreInn demonstrated during our time of deep concern helped us greatly and made us happy we chose a stay with a family in their home versus in a traditional pet kennel. Andrew at PetsAreInn was our pet's guardian angel, and we will look forward to using his service without hesitation going forward.

When I moved to Chalfont from the Midwest, I had to start all over to find people I trusted. Thank you Yelpers for helping me make the decision to go with Peace Valley Pet Care! After I initially emailed them, I received a timely response from the owner, Walt, who setup a complimentary consultation with me. He arrived on time at my apartment, met my pugs, discussed his business and my future needs, then left me with paperwork to complete before the first dog-sitting visit. He was nice and professional. His company is also insured, so that was a bonus during my decision-making process. Walt has over a dozen employees who do dog walking/sitting, and I was assigned Kerryann who has been wonderful! I loved that I had a dedicated dog walker instead of getting a different person each time. Make sure you schedule services in as far advance as possible because they do book up. If you're a last minute person, or just knowing that sometimes things come up last minute, it may be a good idea to have a backup dog walker. That's what I did, and it worked well when unexpected trips or activities came up. Kerryann came to my apartment for a complimentary consultation as well! She watched my pugs many times when I took weekend and week-long trips back and forth to OK/TX for 6 months. She always sent me a daily text to let me know how the pugs have eaten along with their bathroom schedule (like who pooped and peed when, good detail for tracking). Sometimes she would send pictures! They are very flexible, so if you need plants watered, mail checked, daily dog pics (I didn't need them daily), that's all included with their visit fee. Their prices are comparable to local competitors ($20 for two dogs per visit), and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff. I highly recommend if you need a trustworthy dog-sitter in the area!
