We have been using Robbyes for years. But when the mobile service began, we were thrilled! Instead of having to drive to and from the facility, the groomer (Staci) comes to our driveway with a fully equipped van. The whole process takes only about 30 minutes so our puppy doesn't have to be away from the house for a few hours. The grooming quality is excellent, and the staff is efficient. Brought our long-haired bearded collie for grooming. They ended up shaving him completely. Top to bottom. The dog is totally unrecognizable and looks awful. Will take many months to grow his coat out and look anything remotely like he did when we walked in the door. Also developed aural hematomas. This was absolutely the worst! Dakota was the groomer. We have a three month old bichon-shih tzu mix puppy, so I was nervous about where to take him for his first grooming. My neighbor actually recommended Robbyes since they have a Maltese they take there regularly and are happy with them. I called and they were able to get me an appointment the following day. They weren't sure how much they would be able to do for his first grooming, but when I picked him up he looked great! Everyone was so friendly and they said he was great for his first time! It is December 2014 and Kasey @ Robbye's continues to be the best groomer we've ever used. She is very talented, completely understands our vision for how Suzie and Bailey should look, and is very caring with both of them. Grooming a Bichon can't be easy at all. But, Kasey works her magic once a month, every month, for the last +2 years since we found her. Karen runs the front desk with high efficiency and is VERY courteous. Kyle makes sure the operations runs like a Swiss watch. We could not be happier with Robbye's. As for services, the blueberry shampoo treatment really works. It makes our Bichons blazing white. The cost for services is VERY competitive. You'll be glad you tried Robbye's. read more

Robbyes was recommended to me by my cousin who has taken her dog there for years. Karen answered the phone when I called to schedule and was really helpful. For various reasons I chose the MOBILE Grooming service they provide ( well-equipped grooming van comes to your house) for the first time today. The mobile groomer that came was named Staci and she did an excellent job grooming both my dogs (10 and 14 year old / 20 lb mixed breeds). Staci was great with the pooches, knowledgeable and was very pleasant. She was done in a timely manner and the dogs were calm when done. Would recommend Staci! Happy to find her. read more

The staff was overall friendly and the manager Kim was very nice and tried to make right of a situation. The problem is I took my 1 year old Golden Retriever to be groomed and he came home scruffier than he went in. Kaitlin groomed him and I instructed her to just trim his ears, paws and sanitary area. He came home looking like a chopped up mess! His fur that laid flat had been cut and now doesn't lay nicely. I did email about it and sent pictures and Kim responded quickly and told me to come back. When we went back, they proceeded to tell me he wasn't cut and it's only how his fur is "because of the dryer" when Kaitlin's groom note specifically said "trimmed all over". They then hacked up his ears even further shown below. I wish I hadn't even gotten him groomed at all! I can't speak for all the groomers there but be cautious with who you go to when taking a dog with a double coat here. They were nice about it and refunded my money, but it doesn't fix the damage done. read more

This is the sweetest pet grooming shop I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Robbye (owner) is very warm and welcoming. The front desk staff is very friendly. The dog groomers are fast, kind and highly skilled. The doggy daycare is a fun place for all dogs. But, if you love cats as much as I do, you have to meet their cat groomer. Beth (Certified Feline Master Groomer) is amazing. She is truly gentle and thorough. She will leave your long coat cat looking spectacular. If your cat is getting shaved, it will feel like velvet. Its rather simple - we have zero reservations leaving our dogs with Robbyes. Other places have given us an iffy vibe, not so here. We're confident they're in good hands. We use them regularly for grooming as well as doggy day camp. We've also boarded them there as well without any event. They have a mobile grooming van for house visits, can't comment on that as we always take them in. read more

They take long standing customers (over 18 years as a customer) for granted. Place was great (very customer satisfaction oriented) for many years but now it's all about the money. Nickel and dime you for everything. They have gotten to big since Kyle took over and forgot about their loyal customers. I would not recommend this groomer anymore. Update: Our response to their disrespectful email we rec'd today is below. I guess they do not accept emails directly as they do not like to receive any direct criticism. "You are dead wrong about me changing my mind about her face but right after 18 years I will be finding another groomer. I never asked for her face to be left long. Also just an FYI in 18 year we have NEVER asked for one of my dogs faces to be recut. This was the first time and I reported it within a day but because my husband came down sick I could not get her there & had to take care of him first. Check your records if you have any. After your disrespectful email which you did not even sign I will be sure to let others know that loyal customers are not appreciated at Robbye's anymore." read more

Terrible place. Took my dog there for a simple nail cutting. They brought him out bleeding. The rest of the nails came out terrible. My dog is 18 pounds and doesn't give any problems when I have his nails cut. The owner came out they took him in the back room. Joked " we're going to operate so to speak. I ended up going back there, seeing the owner pulling my dogs leg out of his socket. I came and pulled him out from both of them. The groomer and owner and staff are not dog people. They asked me every question in the book except what my dogs name was. They didn't even acknowledge him. What a nightmare. read more

Another five stars for Robbye's and especially Beth! I didn't make good on my statement to keep up with my cat's grooming, so once again she was a huge ball of fluff. I asked Beth if she would do a lion cut, but she was concerned that my cat wouldn't be able to tolerate it without sedation, which they don't do there. I was more than okay with the full groom. Amber once again looks several pounds lighter and just more "streamlined." I forgot to write last time -- they no longer due cash back on credit cards, so bring cash or a check for the groomer's (surely well-deserved) tip! read more

Kennel Cough -- We left our dog there for a trial overnight stay to determine where we could leave her for a upcoming vacation. The staff was great and their treatment of her and me was good. Problem was they had a outbreak of kennel cough in the daycare and did not tell any of the dog boarders. My puppy ended up with a $100 vet bill for medication. Was surprised the Vet saw my dog so quickly but learned they had several other dogs that week come in with Kennel Cough from Robbies. What upset me was that they never bother to call and alert me to a possible problem which would have let me know the cough I heard was the start the of Kennel Cough and not just a sneeze. After I alerted them they said they would call others. Should not have had to find out that way. Bad business. Keeping clients clueless it was causes epidemics. read more

My dog Ham is a westie and a lot of people didn't cut him correctly for the typical westie cut. Here at robbyes they gave him such a fantastic cut, I will never go else where! I'd suggest trying another groomer. We have been taking our 2 Siberian Husky's there for about 3 years and have had enough. They started off good but service declined over time. The time before last they sent my dogs home still shedding, never told me that they had someone who specializes in long hair, and just recently didn't even trim the hair on the bottom of their paws despite paying more. if your dog is docile, they can handle him/her. if your dog is fearful or non-social, try another facility. my dog came back to me with her rear claw hanging off. they called me during the dog's stay to tell me she was bleeding! turns out they couldn't handle her and she got injured some how. when i called about it, they said they'd check with our vet. and get back to me...they never did. read more

Took my pup to get groomed for the first time at Robbey's. Casey came highly recommended. She made me feel as if my pup was not going to do well with the experience. It didn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy. We had a lengthy discussion about what I wanted done. I even brought a photo! When I went to pick up my dog she told me she was good but was freaked out by the way she blew off hair from the table and then she told me that she showed her coworkers!!! Freaked out my dog for her amusement. Again, not someone that seems to truly care about the welfare of my dog. When my dog was brought out I was horrified! She looked terrible. I took my dog Cody to get groomed and Casey always grooms him. She does an excellent job. This time I had Amanda and I was a little leery about using someone besides Casey. Amanda did an awesome job. I am SOOOO glad that I found this place for grooming! My little guy Angus is a challenging pup to groom as he squirms, tries to use his "hands" to block you and generally just doesn't cooperate. I was desperately trying to find a place that could handle this and not ask for him to be sedated. (Pet Smart flat out didn't bother trying after he squirmed for 30 seconds). I have used several groomers here (as they are all awesome), but usually end up with Donna as she was the first to groom him. I have NEVER been anything but thrilled with how he looks, feels, and the fact that he isn't showing any signs of trauma or stress. He leaves smelling great, and even gets an adorable new bandanna every time. They also are sweet enough not to tell me how hard he was to handle!! (something that I dreaded constantly hearing at my last groomer). The people at Robbye's are always professional, sweet, and treat my dog as if he were their own.
