We'll, all I can say is wow or holy s***. I bought the love of my life there 7 months ago and he ended up having a double hernia, severe ear infection, and parasites so bad it took a couple months of meds and trying to find the right food to help his digestive system get on track. I figured, I love him with all my heart and I rescued him. I went back today to see if there was another little girl or boy that melted my heart and somehow the two workers (a 20ish year old male and female) ended up blowing up at me and my 81 year old mom because my mom asked if the puppies were from a puppy mill. There are no words to describe the entire experience - I'm so happy I have my little man, but so sad for all the other puppies. If you want to rescue a puppy and can get past the absolute weirdness the two employees portray, then this is the place for you. read more

I don't even know what to say, the lady was nice but on something nice I can't even put into words the experience I had there today. The worker went from walking being all over the place to the worker yelling at the puppies where the puppy couldn't even poop correctly, not know if she was yelling at the puppy for pooping and the puppy not knowing what to do just shaking because he need to go. She would be giving information and then start going off on rants about different things and talking crap about different customers or different puppy stores, as I agree no pet supply store is treating animals well in small confined places but she needs to learn customer service as we both care for the dogs her behavior ruined the experience completely. read more

Then come to find out they sold us a yorkie that she said was pure breed and now we found out hes mixed with something and without a dna we dont know what he is mixed with. I decided to check in on this location to see the health and well being of the puppies. The moment we walked in the seller yelled at us upon entry wanting to know if we came from the humane society and accused them of spreading parvo. This embarrassed the person I was with as she yelled at us in front of people. Besides the rude behavior I can tell you this facility is selling puppy mill puppies. There are a variety of breeds being sold and no reputable breeder allows their dogs to be sold in this environment. Puppy mill breeders are USDA licensed. In fact, dog breeders that have some of the WORST violations are USDA licensed, inspected and approved to breed. While the puppy you are purchasing might not appear sick, many of them are riddled with genetic diseases that won't appear until later. Puppy's look great and seem to sell fast. We came into Preppy Pups a handful of times and asked a million questions. The employees always answered our questions and were helpful. After a couple of months we finally purchased a male Malti-Poo a few days ago. He's very well tempered and adjusting to our family great. Our three young children love him. Took him to our vet today to get checked out and they agree he is a healthy young pup. At this point we couldn't be happier. Nice store. read more

I came in to look at puppies, Oh man i was Not disappointed! I was so in love with all the puppies and Sandy is the best! She was so warm, and knew alot about the dogs and there personalities! If you are looking for a place to kiss your ass and beg you to do business, this is not the place for you. Instead of worrying about what people think, Sandy is foremost concerned about the animals and will not allow anyone to leave with a puppy if they aren't a good fit. That means sometimes people will hear things they don't want to hear. For me, this is a positive thing - as it prevents these beautiful animals from being placed in an environment that could be neglectful or abusive. She also won't place animals that aren't eating or exhibiting other concerns. When I walked in, I'll admit, she didn't immediately have the warm fuzzies of a checker of Trader Joe's - but she genuinely knows each of the animals and can tell you, "oh, she's the boss of this group!" or "he likes to hide when he poops, you have to watch him." In a world where animals are commodities, this is the exception - which is a relief as I struggle with the notion of purchasing an animal vs. a rescue. She was able to provide documentation as far back as 5 generations from the puppy's family as well as tons of information from the small mother/daughter breeder - and invitations to visit them and see the facilities personally. When it comes to living animals, the customer is NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. I left feeling extremely satisfied with the care, attention, and devotion these animals get. Expect to be prodded and know it's not always going to be comfortable. It's necessary to ensure a good fit. And in the end, it's the right thing for the animals. P.S. My little Lucy has been here for a week. She is the sweetest, most mild-mannered puppy (at 10 weeks, no less!) and the vet was extremely complimentary at her perfect health and the measures taken to make sure she had every vaccine recommended as well as dewormers. Not the place to go if you are looking for good customer service. Horrible experience there today, I was in and out in less then 5 minutes. Their website says they control the temperament of the puppies which I can't see to be a positive considering the woman who was there was banging on the cage of a barking puppy saying "I don't have patience for you today". As she was cleaning poop out of one cage she was pushing the puppies off her shoulder yelling at them to stop. My son asked to use the bathroom and she stated "we have one but I don't let little boys use it because they pee all over". When I assured her he won't do that she proceeded to say "well then you are going to have to wait because I just disinfected it" We immediately left after that since she obviously doesn't have patience for children or puppies. As we were leaving I said there was no need for the rudeness to which she replied "well it's not a petting zoo". I don't know about you but I want to spend a little time seeing if the puppy is a good fit before purchasing. The puppies are very over priced and she was not a friendly person. We've stopped in before and she was the same person working. I've heard her say nasty comments about customers after they left before, just do your homework and try to buy elsewhere. Their Facebook doesn't allow for reviews and my comments were deleted shortly after leaving them. That's a red flag on the business too. read more

Came into your store on 9/11/16 and I'm still confused on why lady working there was so very rude. We walked in and she never stopped barking at us ( no pun intended) and lecturing us on Paris Hilton's dog??? She was horrible and not appreciated. We bought our bichon poo from here 7 years ago this summer. She has been a blessing in our lives and she's absolutely wonderful. Smartest, most kind little thing. That being said, the customer service here (was) truly awful. It is clear their number one priority is making money. We have been back since and it is still the case that you receive no information on the parents or where the puppies came from. When we asked questions we were quickly dismissed and glared at. When we got our puppy she was sick and nearly died, costing us over $700 in vet bills and there was nothing done on the part of the breeder to reimburse and or help us without potentially giving our puppy back. We love Preppy Pups! And Sandy, who works in the store, is wonderful.....very knowledgable and helpful in explaining everything related to the pups, including their personalities and what will best match a family. She also keeps the store in pristine condition.....constantly moving around and cleaning up after and caring for the pups. We have two pups from Preppy Pups....one became part of our family 10 years ago and the other one 6 years ago. They are the best dogs ever....the best personalities! They have always been healthy and we have never had any issues.
