We went out of town for 5 days. We boarded our "Houdini" cat there. Did opt for deluxe cage. Yes, he was a butthead for first day but then was his normal love bug self. Went back for annual check up/vaccines front desk were super polite and helpful. The Vet was super proactive, listened to us, our concerns. Cat loved her.... wish he was that googly at home. Will be taking our other pets there for sure. read more

Boarded my dog here for 5 days and when I picked her up she was super skinny. She's 4lbs but loves to eat. Not sure if they didn't feed her or if she was stressed but I've taken her to other pet hotels and this has never happened. Won't be returning. read more

We've boarded our small dog here a few times now and have been happy with the quality of the stay. Our pooch seems to like it and the prices are reasonable. We pay extra for the deluxe room which includes private outdoor access for him. We also pay for the activity sessions as they are not included in the cost of the board. The facility is super nice and clean. The exercise area is ample and the "room" sizes are good. Couple issues I have run into are: There are very limited pickup times on the weekend. You have to pick up by 9am on Saturday. It seems like they are making it difficult to pick up your dog on Saturday to make you pay for an extra day. I would suggest adding a second pickup time on Saturday evening and another on Sunday morning. I also feel the front counter service could be a little more friendly. They came across kind of impatient and a little condescending when I was asking questions, trying to understand what was included in the price and what you paid extra for. I think it boils down to the fact that they know the policies so well, they assume customers should just know it too. It's a common issue with customer service in a more "professional" field. Work on that, and I would give them 5 stars for boarding. read more

My husband and I were going to board our little dog for a week and then found out we didn't have to since my husband couldn't get off work so we wanted our deposit to go towards a future stay since the funds were not refundable & I called today to make arrangements and they inform me my money was forfeited because I didn't use it within 6 months and I asked why wouldn't it just stay on my account? Why would you just keep someone's money even thou you know they plan on using your services in the future! And now I understand why Harmony only has 1 star as a dog daycare! While my regular vet place would not even take a phone call with me to see if my cat needed emergency treatment or not, this clinic let me come in right away and were awesome in every way. The vet Dr. Niebler was so thorough and patient. I felt 100% confident with her advice. The staff also were competent and friendly. We boarded our dog here for 4 days over Christmas. I will not be returning. When I picked her up, they told us bascially how bad our dog was and that next time she needed to upgrade her package so that the boarding person could take her out for excerise. So, our dog does have some anxiety issues but nothing so bad where she needs to be medicated. So, I got her in the car and looked at her mouth and noticed all these sores, poor thing! I called and asked them why they hadn't seen this when they gave her a bath this morning! I also asked why her ears were not clean, apparently that is not part of a bath. Okaaayyyy. I thought this place was going to be OK since it was also a vet, but I will not be back. The front desk staff was rude too! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They are not good with anxious dogs and they think they know what's best for your dog when they have no idea how he interacts with other dogs at home. His sister is not allowed to stay in a kennel with him even though they live together and play together. They make my dog out to be the worst dog on the planet each time he comes home when I know he is not. Every time I bring my dog here, the staff are not very accommodating and very standoffish. This kennel truly makes me miss my Indianapolis kennel every time. I will not be going back. read more

I take my two Boston Terriers for vet services at Harmony and am very happy with them. One of my BTs has been very aggressive with vets in the past, but he has never had an issue at Harmony. In fact, they were surprised to hear that about him. Luann, at the front desk, always remembers us even if we haven't been by in months. Last year, one of my dogs had an ongoing health issue that we could not figure out, we saw multiple vets there at different points and I was always happy that they always considered the least invasive means of treatment. I'm such a worrier that it makes me happy to trust my vets and know they love my crazy pups. I actually drive about a half hour to take them there. read more

My little doggie (now deceased) took advantage of the services offered by Harmony for the past 10 years. He attended daycare, boarding, & veterinary services. He liked the daycare as a more energetic puppy dog. I boarded him many! times. Every time that I picked him up from boarding, he was happy (to see me too) & healthy... Once he had a brief gut issue when I had to board him. One of the workers went into his crate to make sure that he was drinking & eating. I felt comfortable knowing that the vets were available. This is an immaculately kept facility....it was a relief in my life to know that I could have the freedom to travel & not worry about my dog. This is the very best pet clinic I have ever experienced, including several other local ones. The vet Dr. Neibler spends so much time with the animal and always has lots of different ideas and approaches about best care option; the prices are reasonable as well. What really separates Harmony from other places is their flexibility and availability. They have been able to see my cat on a moment's notice and change appointments as needed, also, the vets seem to care a lot about people's pets, even coming to the phone with questions. This is the exact opposite of several other local Waukesha vet practices. I am relieved and excited that Harmony is where my cat will go from now on. read more

New to the Waukesha area and Harmony care was suggested to me by a friend. Our first visit was on 6/9/17, Walked in and was greeted kindly and my Fur babies name was on the Welcome marker board in the entry way which I thought was a cute touch. Vet and Vet tech were very nice and knowledgeable. I could tell my girl felt comfortable with them and so did I. We used Harmony Pet for grooming our cat a few times. The final time, they didn't finish the job, charged us full price (about $75), and let us leave without saying anything. Upon arriving home we removed the cat from the carrier and noticed the incomplete job. I immediately called to ask why... They responded with you cat had fleas. Huh? The cat didn't come in with fleas. Any fleas on the cat came from Harmony Pet Facility. We have 2 other cats and 3 months later still nary a flea in our house. Long story... less long. They refused any sort of refund and this facility probably has a flea issue. So please beware of this unscrupulous company. read more

I take two of three dogs for daycare and all three for vet services. My boys that go to daycare LOVE it and are always happy and eager to see both their human friends (staff) and their fellow canine friends. The vet staff is also great with all three of my dogs. One of my dogs is anxious/fearful and they are always gentle, calm and professional when dealing with him. I would recommend both the daycare and vet services to any pet owner. read more

I had been a customer for 9 years and recently service has seriously declined. Having an appointment apparently does not mean much as you may wait for an indefinite period of time with no update as to what delay is. I then asked for a prescription to be written out and it was not available as requested so I had to make another trip out there. I advised the manager of the poor service and she asked me to give them another chance. Recently my dog had what looked like a bad rash and I asked them due to the fact that I'd read the medicine they had prescribed for her infection could have rash as a side effect. After showing them photos, they did not seem that concerned stating that they could not see her for 2 days. The two vets are nice, but it isn't enough to put up with poor service. I recommend you take your pet elsewhere. read more

I have an older diabetic cat that needs insulin 2x a day and finding a place to board him that I would feel comfortable with was a hard decision for me since he can be high maintenance. We left him and our other kitty with Harmony for 8 days and they did a great job! The diabetic kitty got sick but they called to inform me and kept me updated on his condition. They put him on antibiotics and both kitties were good when we picked them up. Harmony even called later to make sure they were OK. We will definitely be taking our animals back there to board as I completely trust them. read more

My chocolate lab has been attending day care here since she was a puppy. She now is 9 years old. :-) She no longer goes to day care, but recently had knee surgery through the vet facility here. We had full confidence in their services. It was a great experience for us. They are extremely loving and kind towards my dog, which is all I am looking for in a facility that takes care of pets. I agree that customer service at the desk isn't always over the top friendly, but as I said, they certainly love my dog. And that's all I ask when I'm bringing my dog to their facility. read more

If you want to be nickel and dimed to death, this is the place to board your dog. We have been taking our dog here for grooming and boarding for over a year, but tonight was the last straw - we will not be going back. We dropped her off at 4 p.m. on June 26th and asked to have her groomed before we picked her up on Thursday, July 2nd. They said she would be ready to go home at 2 p.m. on the 2nd. We were driving home from New Orleans, and didn't know what time we would be back on the 2nd, so I called on the 1st to pay ahead and have someone else pick her up at 2 p.m. They told me that she actually wouldn't be ready until 3 p.m., which was too late for the person to pick her up, so I told them that we were driving from New Orleans and should be there by 4 p.m. We got there at 4:15, and were charged for 6 nights, a 1/2 day of boarding, the grooming, and a $5 late charge for being 15 minutes late (they were open until 6:30 that night). Seriously?? We wanted to schedule her pick up earlier, but couldn't. She was groomed for 2 hours during the 1/2 day boarding charge, and then they have the nerve to charge me for being 15 minutes late when they knew we were driving from New Orleans?? We were loyal customers, never before were we late for grooming pick up or boarding pick up, but we will not deal with a business that treats us like they have no relationship with us - that we are just another customer to screw over at every chance. We boarded our then 11-year-old Lab here for a week in spring '11. When we arrived to pick him up at 7:30 in the morning we were left waiting and waiting. Finally someone (presumably the kennel manager) brought him up and told us that he needed to be seen by a vet, that he had some blood in his urine that "just started this morning". Well, it wasn't just blood in his urine, it was blood instead of urine! He has never had this problem before. We immediately made an appt with our regular vet for that day and found out that he had a severe bladder infection which required a strong round of antibiotics and pain meds. And this just started the morning we picked him up? No, I don't think so, and neither does my vet. You had my written permission to treat him for anything with no limits on dollar amounts, and you are a veterinary facility! And I paid extra for 2 play sessions a day. Considering the severity of his bladder infection, I can only surmise that he must have been left in his kennel, and he refuses to go to the bathroom in his "house". Do yourself a favor and board your dog elsewhere if you care about their well being. They are not monitored as they should be at this place! read more
