I'm going to have to agree with all the low ratings. Rude, condescending, unfriendly staff. Have had 3 or 4 interactions with them. All negative. Someone who knows more than me told me if you ever sell them a gun, don't be surprised if you go back and see them selling your gun for 3X the $ they gave you for it. I did make the mistake of purchasing a gun from them for over $700. At the last gunshow they had lots of the same exact gun for $425. They have no concept of good customer service. Another reviewer wrote about the generally staid personalities of the staff, in so far as we see them in public ... please keep in mind that filling out the Federal paperwork, the Background Check, is very serious stuff, and that Arizona firearms dealers, people right here in the Quad-cities, have been horribly targeted by the current Administration's DOJ and ATF so I understand and appreciate their "staying within the lines" (my wife and I have bought several guns from and through them). Very annoying. they were laughing and joking, and I was standing there waiting. 5 mins later one of them looked at me, and I nodded my head, opeened my mouth to say I need help, but then he turned back around and went back to his conversation. PV Guns is my favorite firearms store in the area. Prices are usually less than or comparable to the other guys. Staff are great, respectable and very customer service oriented. I often call to check on stock and they actually remember me by name. The guys behind the counter are knowledgeable and friendly. Not long ago I made my first visit to Prescott Valley Guns to buy a new pistol. They have a first rate selection of firearms, ammo and holsters. The problem in this store is that the employees must be introverts with absolutely no idea of how customers should be treated. Even the basics like saying "hello, may I help you" or even a basic smile that says "I'm not angry or hostile. Buying something from me will be pleasant" is obviously an alien concept to any of the men working at PV Guns, Inc. Geez!!! First, all three employees did everything they could to avoid any form of eye contact let alone friendly interaction. All three avoided eye contact for over five minutes as they joked with each other. I was literally standing at the counter less than 10 feet in front of them. I was not looking at guns in the case nor my cell phone. There was one customer sorting through ammo packs on the other side of the store. Just standing there looking from one to the other, I was, for over five minutes! Finally one of them said, "So what you up to" but he wasn't even looking at me but sort of past me. After I looked around to see no one behind me and figured out that he was speaking to me we found what I was looking for and I completed the paperwork, all the while attempting to have a friendly interaction with him. He wasn't having any of that. Nope, he was stone faced, somber and very matter-of-fact during the entire transaction. Kept addressing me as "Sir". Sir, this and Sir that even after I asked him to call me by name. "There you go", he said as he literally turned and walked away to have fun joking with the other two clerks. My new purchase laying there spread out on the counter. No offer to bag the gun and accessories. What a weird feeling. So I gathered up my stuff and walked out cradling my purchase like fruit dropped and picked up in a parking lot. I am rather disappointed because I need ammo, holster, a range bag and a cleaning kit that I will now have to go around to other stores with less than stellar selections in these items or drive two hours (one way) to Phoenix. I am a retired sales and marketing manager. I can make friends with anyone..... except the men working at Prescott Valley Guns. read more

I bought a Remington model 878 from them , i asked the guy on the phone his honest opinion of the shotgun and he said it was in nice condition . when i got it the stock was cracked in 2 places and it was obvious cracks- not small hard to see cracks . Both cartridge stops fell out when i pulled out the trigger group and had to be restaked in place. It is possible they were not aware of this problem since you would have to pull out the trigger group to become aware of this . between these two problems i would not buy anything else from PRESCOTT VALLEY GUNS,,,,,,,,,,,,,MBP read more

The staff has always been very helpful and knowledgeable regardless of what silly question I have. Choice of firearms is outstanding. Prices are very competitive.
