US Postal regulations are very clear that one ffl and ship a handgun to another ffl via priority mail. I have had this done numerous times. J&G needs to educate their workforce on several levels. I took their CCW class in October 2021 and have been a regular since then. Staff is knowledgeable and efficient. There is a rifle range and pistol range, as well as archery. The pistol range has six separate lanes and area for loading and personal storage. Clean and temp controlled, although not everyone cleans their brass after a session, so be sure to ensure your lane is clean before firing. I've purchased firearms through them and staff is competent and thorough. They offer hourly lane and firearm rentals as well as 6-month and annual memberships, which I highly recommend. The facility is perched up on a hill over looking the Verde Valley, located by the Yavapai Sheriff station/jail and Out of Africa. I do wish they had a larger selection of pistols for "try-out", and for sale. However, they can order anything for the customer. Highly recommend if you're visiting and want something fun to try..or if you're a local and want to brush-up, or maintain your skills!

Others can write the book on any number of firearm aspects, especially when it comes to customer service. Bucky O'Neill Guns has excellent customer service. They have a small staff that can assist the firearm owner with non-major work on their firearms. They will mount scopes and get you "on paper." They also have an excellent selection of handguns, both pistols and revolvers. Whether new or used, I've never seen a kludgey firearm that passed its prime mechanical state decades ago. They have some really cool stuff. Great to look through while you're awaiting your turn at the register. What impresses me most is the knowledge of those who work there. Talking with Mark or Jim always results in learning more about firearms... they know their stuff. No "Bravo Sierra." Two downsides: they're a small shop. They can order most everything and get it quickly -- and if they can't, you'll know about it: no empty promises. The second downside: almost always, in more cases than not, I leave with less money than I had when I entered the store. Still trying to figure out why...
