Do NOT shop here under any circumstances! Place is filled with people waiting indoors for COVID tests!! And don't get tested here either. They will tell you to just walk in, then tell you it's $100 and the test they sell is "not covered by insurance". Meanwhile if you book an appointment using myRx site it's $65. And they are rude about it too. They should be ashamed of themselves! read more

Some health care facilities and pharmacies have federal funded contracts where they receive COVID tests from the government. Unfortunately, we are a small independent pharmacy and we pay for the tests ourselves and in turn charge a small professional fee slightly above our cost. Our staff takes great health risks to provide these tests and serve the community. Like you stated the big chain stores were not able to accommodate you and we stayed open after hours in order to help you. Many walk in clinics in our area charge as much as $200 for testing. Sorry you felt it was necessary to write a negative review on yelp, but I assure you that we are highly regarded in our community and doing our best to accommodate everyone. read more

Avoid this place - I've used these guys on and off over the years and experiences have not been good - years ago when they were still located in chillmark, the pharmacy straight up underfilled my Rx and I didn't find out until after getting home and called them, AFTER which they said they were short and would add it to the next refill (this was NOT mentioned when I picked up and paid). Avoided the pharmacy like the plague after that incident. More recently I needed a last minute COVID test for a flight and like others below have said - they don't tell you about the $100 upcharge upfront but wait until you come in to tell you and that they don't take insurance. I was short on time and ended up paying. Worth mentioning the results come on a very unofficial looking home-typed letter that got questioned by the airline (ended up being okay but not without a conversation) so all in all I felt extorted and taken advantage of and reminded of all the reasons to avoid this place. read more

im a 4th year law student that came in to pick up my prescription the pharmacist broke every law in \the book. first he questione my doctor, saying he couldt find her?? at first just said he never recrivrf any prescriptions for me, then after wasting my time. he started asking me questions about my doctor. ny being a one person consent tape i recored me telling him that im in need of assistance and not feeling well, it was my 3rd day off my xanax x where i usually cat a seizure going cold turkey like this, i told him i i felt like he was completly neglecting my needs, putting me in harm, acting like he knew belter then my doctor and even questioning my doctor . then admiting that they "just didnt want to dill my medicayion.m if anybody has received similat issues from this peson ehich i feelborderlines on ifi didnt go to the nearest hospital his negligence could have killed me. please reach out to me if anybody else faced this. not only will i have his license but i think he deserves to be in jail. i coukdnt breathe and said i needed medical assistANCE, HEE WOULDNT EVEN Call an ambulANCE!!! read more

The rudest people I have ever spoken to on the phone I called and asked a simple question and the girl got so nasty with me for absolutely no reason. I then called again to speak to a manager and was told they don't have one. Try to avoid this place. read more

Very friendly, caring staff. I have been there almost weekly lately to get a Rapid COVID test. Very knowledgeable and efficient. A real gem in today's market. BTW $100 for a rapid test is pretty reasonable and normal -- I pay for my employees to get rapid tests and this is the norm! And, most rapid tests are not covered by insurance. read more

I went in today to pick up a package left by UPS. I requested for the person at the counter (owner) to clean off the touch screen as the only way to sign for my package was to use my finger. I was being cautious [COVID] and respectfully asked him to do it explaining my concerns. He refused to do it telling me to get out of his store and he wasn't giving me the package. He cursed at me and kept referring to "you people" He is unsanitary and a racist as I was the only black person in the store. No one should be subjected to the ignorance and disrespectfulness from the owner. Worst customer service experience ever. read more

When you see this pharmacy in the Chilmark Shopping Center it looks like the CVS which is right next door (good going CVS...trying to gobble up another independent.). I have gone through hell with both CVS and DrugMart and occasionally Walgreens with my medications. I went into Prescription Plus thinking it was CVS and my first thought was "This is the nicest CVS I've ever been in." Clean, neat and lovely. They have a lot of the "off-the-beaten path" items that Drug Mart has and is an old-fashioned feeling store but impeccably clean and neat. I went to speak to the pharmacist about my prescription as they are going to all electronic prescriptions in NY next month. Still thinking it was CVS, I said I'd like this store (the closest to me) to be my store. We discussed my medications and I managed to get something I cannot get at CVS or DrugMart: EMPATHY. The pharmacist was absolutely amazing and helpful. I turned to one of the pharmacy techs and said, "I love him." (words I never thought I would say about a pharmacist). She said, "We all do." So obviously he treats everyone well. I'm so bummed that behemoth CVS decided to plop one of their stores right next to it - it obviously confuses people. Prescription Plus has a HUGE sign that they are not closing and an explanation that the landlord does not allow a sign on top of the building. I encourage everyone to frequent their independent businesses and buy local. This is a gem of a store with the nicest group of people EVER. I will never step foot in a CVS again. read more
