I've been going to Jen for several years now, and having her as my masseuse has been the most amazing experience. As someone with a consistently aching back, I've been getting massages since I was a teenager. Jen is hands down the best masseuse I've ever had. She works out all those hard to reach spots without causing pain or discomfort and I always leave her table feeling 100 times better than when I came in. Her professionalism and kindness only add to the experience and I always look forward to my next massage. After years of trying different massage therapists to help control my back pain and having no luck, I had almost given up and accepted a life with constant back back. I found Jen on yelp and thought I would try one more massage therapists. Good thing I did. After the first appointment I felt some improvement, enough to make a second appointment. I met Jennifer from Present Moment Bodyworks quite by accident one day while having lunch at a restaurant in San Francisco. We started talking and I invited her and her companion to share my table. In the course of our conversation she offered her services to me as a massage therapist. For most of my life I have seen massage as a luxury. Muscular tension and assorted aches and pains were simply part of life that I put up with. I thanked her for the offer and we went our separate ways. Some time later at a time when I happened to be feeling less than my best and mentioned that on Facebook, she reached out again and renewed her offer of a healing massage. This time I took her up on the offer. She warned me in advance that once I had a massage from her I would see them as a necessity rather than a luxury. She was right. I have been getting weekly massages from Jennifer for over six months now and I can't imagine doing without them. She is magnificent. She is incredibly professional, but I expected that. She has a healing touch and uses a combination of essential oils, meditation techniques, and massage modalities that are tailored to my individual needs, and vary according to what my needs are on any given day. She always asks what my needs are before each session and designs the session to match those needs, focusing on the parts of my body that need the most attention on that particular day. She has a degree of kindness and caring that has me feel as if I am the only client she has that day. I've been seeing Jennifer for massage for about 4 years now. I myself have a Massage Therapy background and have seen a ton of therapist over the years but Jennifer by far is my favorite and go to Massage Therapist. Jennifer was great! I came in for a 1 hour deep tissue massage. She did breathing exercises with me in the beginning of my massage and made sure I was relaxed and comfortable. She also uses aromatherapy and heat and cooling treatments to the body. Different from other massages I had but I enjoyed it and it was very relaxing. I also slept very well that night. Jennifer even followed up with me the next day to see how I was feeling and sent me a thank you card. Definitely will be seeing her for a longer session next time! read more

My sessions continue to get better every time I see her. She really takes the time to talk to me and find out what is going on with my body. After our massage she showed me (on chart in her room) which muscles she worked on and stretches I could do to help with tension in my neck and upper back. I don't live in the area but every time I am here I make sure to make an appointment with her. Trust me, she is a necessary addition to anyone who wants better quality of life!!!! read more

I found Jen through yelp after I got into a car accident and all I can say is that she is GREAT! She was very accommodating with my schedule and writing SOAP notes so I can submit to my insurance. I've had massages before and Jen is one of the best massage therapists out there. She has a great personality, very easy to talk to, very friendly, welcoming and always makes sure you are comfortable. My neck and shoulders were super tense and after a few sessions, I've been feeling so much better. She helps me focus on my breathing and really gets to where my problem areas are. I love that she checks in during my massage make sure the pressure is right and will adjust accordingly. She recommended stretches and heating pads that would help ease the pain and tension in between her massage sessions and it had made such a difference for me. I always look forward to my appointments with her. She works out of her home, but her massage room is just like you were to be at a spa. Very calming, soothing and relaxing. Jennifer is amazing! Her massage studio is beautiful and very relaxing. Calm music and white noise. I've never had a massage like this. She was very attentive to what I requested, and worked on the areas I needed work on. She uses calming oils, eye pillows, hot towels, and breathing relaxation methods to enhance the experience. After the massage she made sure I was feeling good and then discussed further treatment and gave me recommendations. Without a doubt I will be back, and recommend her to my family and friends. Jennifer is by far a gifted & amazing massage therapist!! I consider myself extremely lucky to have found her and have her as my massage therapist! I was in a car accident almost a year ago and after chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture & even injections nothing seemed to help.. Until I came into contact with Jennifer! I have had 7 massage sessions with her so far and although I am deffinitly a work in progess she has giving me hope that I will eventually feel better! I already do!! Jennifer has been a very important part of my overall health routine for a couple of years now.
