My wonderful book club treated me with Jason's 90 minute massage from Groupon and I don't think they knew how AMAZING my experience would be. Normally, I go to more institutionalized places for massages where you don't know who you're going to get until you get there, make the reservation online and select your preference of a male or female masseuse and then put in your comments along with any add-ons before you get your email confirmation. I am one of those women who has always opted for a female because of the "bad experiences" others have had with men. Before going onto Yelp, I thought it was going to be a couple different masseuses and I would just be scheduling to the next open availability. But when I started reading all the reviews (all from women), I was crossing my fingers I would get Jason too! I went ahead and messaged and was glad to not only get the quick response as noted but it was Jason. The instant I walked in, I was greeted by one of the friendliest faces in a very relaxing and calming environment. Jason didn't rush me in any aspect. I filled out a form and we literally sat and talked for a couple minutes before moving into the massage. The fact his goal was to get me into a state of complete relaxation, "drooling and snoring" spoke volumes and he delivered! Not once did I feel uncomfortable and he really has a way of knowing how much pressure to apply and what my body needed. There is something incredibly wholesome and therapeutic in being in the presence of a positive soul and I got that and more. I CAN'T RECOMMEND JASON ENOUGH! For the past six days I had been in such an incredible amount of pain on my legs, knees and back. Barely able to have any movement at all, but having no other choice but to show up for work. Last week I had a very challenging tour that completely messed up by whole back and core, and it was truly hard to keep doing tours the following days but, I had to. I think the pain had just been accumulating and reflecting on my knees because for a couple of weeks I haven't been able to go up or down the stairs to my apartment or even Bart! He has a nice sitting area where he discusses your massage needs, and inquires into deeper specifics.
