Overall we had a great experience with Presidential Pools. The communication was generally very good and timely. I didn't give them a 5 because of a few issues. the first issue was that we only received the rendering for review and when they said the permit was approved. we thought it would be the same as the rendering. The pool equipment on the permit was not where we had discussed putting it and the location o the fence was totally different from what was approved on the permit vs the rendering. This all could have been avoided if they had provided the drawings to us and had us approve them. We had to request the drawings multiple times and were not given them until after the permit was approved and no changes could be made. Also, the Baja shelf ended up being 18" deep. There are not any lounge chairs that are made to use in 18" of water. The standard is 12" so I don't know why that wasn't explained to us. We did feel that the subcontractors were very professional and worked hard to make sure everything was level and done correctly. read more

We spent over 40-grand on presidential pool over 15 years ago. Pool has held up great, no problem there. It's the service. We had worker expected to come out today, called to verify and it was canceled due to what scheduler said was "miscomunication." Our pool was finished in May 2023. Follow up on warranty issues is hit or miss. I contacted Presidential Pools and Spas on July 29, 2025 because we had sinking under the turf and 1/4 minus along the drain line from the pool to the equipment. Chris, the field manager, came out within a few days, however it is now OCTOBER 28 and after numerous emails with Vicki, we have not been able to get this resolved. They were quick to bill us $120 for the warranty visit the same day I reached out. I've been promised I will get a response, that the boss is going to look into it, etc. I emailed a week ago and requested to speak to someone else and haven't gotten a reply. Follow up service and maintenance is just as important as building a pool. We have a few hundred houses being built in our neighborhood and I will not be recommending Presidential Pools and Spas to anyone. And yes, we contracted a landscaping company to do the yard through Presidential, but this isn't it their issue. This is caused by whomever backfilled the trench and didn't compact it enough. read more

I had overall an amazing experience with Presidential. I wont lie there were few hiccups but they really took good care of me and my pool. We got what we wanted and most of the people were amazing and very supportive. There sales staff is great and I would thank Larry for all his help & support in this process. But most importantly, the project manager "Jordon Thrasher" was amazing, he really took great care of everything for us and became a bridge between us and the pool company, I rarely had to go to any one else. He always was on top of things and made sure that all my queries & concerns are resolved timely. He helped me getting broken lights (during excavation) reimbursed as well. Design team for the pool is good but could be little more communicative and engaging to help you visualize & evaluate pool designs proactively. I just so happened to be walking by their Surprise location and upon talking to the sales person everything was great until talking to the finance lady who was flipped in her responses to our questions. Everyone involved in the process was amazing, from sales through all of the different phases of the build. Our favorite person, however, was our project manager, Mr. Jamel Johnson. Excellent experience once again with Presidential Pools and Spas. This is the second pool we built with Presidential. Their whole team was so amazing to work with throughout the whole process. Ryan was our custom pool designer and we had worked with him the first time as well. He was so knowledgeable, fun and easy to work with. He made so many changes for us during the design process and wanted to make sure that we had it exactly how we wanted it!! Norman Crittle was our project manager and he was wonderful to work with. He met with us prior to starting the dig and explained the timeline of the build and everything that was involved from start to finish of the pool. He provided excellent communication during the build and was on site routinely checking over things. Any questions we had during the build were quickly answered by him. we had a 14'x28' pool built. Signed contract Sept 1, started digging Nov 1st, had water in the pool Dec 20th. PROS: design team was great, helpful, quality pool. Cons: little to no notice when workers will show up they just arrive whenever. Project manager communicates only in the morning, had to stay on top of them to get things done. Week(s) between trades to show up although it seems our was faster than most. Our Neighbors used Shasta pools and those bozos got shotcrete all over MY turf,rocks in my pool, concrete spray on my paver driveway and oil leaks in the street. Would not use this company at the current time. They are over whelmed and don't have the capacity to handle the business. Signed our contract 1-4-21. Nothing happened for 5.5 months. Excavator finally came out 6-23-21. Plumbing company came out 7-5-21. Was thinking maybe this was going to get rolling. Month later - nothing. Today is 8-2-21 and nothing has been done since. Company is very disorganized and PP has no concept or ability to schedule the subs. Nobody can tell you when and what is scheduled. It's a complete mess. Because they don't have the ability to complete a pool in a reasonable time frame, the monsoons have destroyed the work that was done over a month ago. Do yourself a favor, don't use Presidential Pools at this time. Evidently they don't have anyone that can make a reasonable schedule and have subs show up on that schedule. It's a mess! read more

We finally got the shotcrete on our pool. They said 6-10 weeks and it was 10 weeks. After they did the shotcrete they found out that they didn't keep the order for all of the materials we wanted for the pool. We had to go back and reorder everything for the pool including the pebblestone and the decking. This is now July. We were not really promised a date of when the pool would be finished. I was stupidly thinking it would be done by summer. Of course, this was before I knew about all of the shortages of supplies. One can only hope that they will be able to catch up a little as they said they will with this next part. read more

I want to recognize Chad and his manager on the service department from what they did to help me with an out of the ordinary request. They went above and beyond to assist me. If I could give presidential pools and Spas a 0 I would. Worse experience ever. We sign in March 2021. Permits were sent out in May as we moved to our new house in May. Dig was in September. After that it was delays after delays. Lies after lies. Issues after issues but the worse No Communication from presidential pools. No one takes ownership. No one calls back in a timely matter. It takes multiple emails, text and calls to get a response. We finally got tired and email the CEO by magic we finally hot a call back the same day. We are in May 2022 and still no finish pool. We broke ground with this company on June 2nd (166 days from writing this review) and they are nowhere near completion. Every step of the way has been met with challenges and incompetence. For starters our designer has left the company, our first project manager has left the company, the second one was fired, and we are on now on our third project manager. Their inability to retain talent is a red flag and major cause for concern. Prior to us breaking ground our layout was not staked properly leading to the first delay. Next we ran into a hard dig which we assumed responsibility for, then we waited over a month for plumbing and or electrical. In our meeting the designer we had discussed installing 5 umbrella sleeves and we were lucky to have kept the email because they tried to go back on their word (this was the first time). Fast forward to the coping/hardscape install and the project manager and or inspection did not catch that our baja step was several inches out of line and they could not complete our travertine. Tile had to be torn up and they had to manually build up the wall to make it even for the travertine (this took them two times). No we are at the point were the travertine is done, and I get an email to schedule final inspection, however, in the SAME EMAIL they state that due to a discrepancy they failed to run electrical to our LED bubbler in our baja step! How could you forget this? Its on the contract and the construction plan! Unacceptable!! In the same email they state they no longer feel comfortable installing the umbrella sleeves in the coping and are offering a refund. And to make matters worse they said they can refund the LED bubbler or else it will "take some time to complete"....Really? There have been a multitude of additional delays, weeks without responses from their construction support team, and missed emails and texts. If you have made it this far I implore you to research alternatives for your families pool needs. I absolutely do not recommend Presidential Pools. Anthony K. read more

We started on this pool journey quite a bit ago, early 2021 in fact and my pool was officially opened a little over a year after signing the contract. However, Presidential has been transparent with the long time frames and when my pool was getting built it was in the middle of the COVID-related supply chain/material/labor shortage. However, Presidential deserves 5-stars and here is why: Our experience started out with an amazing design experience with Dale Fleshman. We got quotes/designs from multiple other pool builders including California Pools and Thunderbird. Dale was the only one who actually provided an absolutely incredible design and within our provided budget. HE LISTENED TO US! We got so many features and we really do have a designer pool and spa and not just something basic. For the similar features we were quoted 20k-30k more from the other builders. What we got designed was a: 30x15 pool with Ozone, in-floor cleaning, a 7x7 spa, a tanning shelf, intellicenter, 2 fire/water bowls, an attached firepit, a sheer descent, multicolored lights, 800 sqft of travertine decking. Super modern design as well and high-quality materials. Dale did warn us that we need to expect a long wait time and we were happy to be patient since we got such a great value. Dale was honest, upfront, and extremely responsive. He told us when something was a bad idea and offered a true designers eye to the project. Once the contract was signed we worked with 2 great project managers: Jarrod Woods and Norm Crittle. These guys are absolute pros and I am grateful we had such an experienced team. Throughout the process they would be open to me texting them with questions/concerns and they always responded quickly and transparently. Jarrod was our project manager for the majority of the project, from permitting to the completion of the deck. Jarrod was super knowledgeable and was great about making sure everything was done at a very high quality. He would come out and inspect the pool regularly and put in work orders for changes/fixes without having me having to hound him. He was great at answering questions and concerns that we had as well. Jarrod was open and honest on the long time frames, which we were already expecting, which we were okay with since the quality of the construction was excellent. Norm took over from the end of the decking through the finish line. Norm is so kind and really awesome and knowledgeable. He is great at giving updates on different items and really made the experience smooth to get us to startup. I had a ton of questions throughout the process and he was always gracious and explained everything and would also make sure fixes were made if they were needed. The quality of the construction and materials are top-notch, they use the best equipment and if there was something imperfect with the build usually Jarrod and Norm would have noticed it before I did and already got a work order in to fix it. I loved working with the whole Presidential team. They are absolutely swamped and as long as you understand it will take more time to get the job done then you will be happy with the quality of construction and probably the best value on top of that. We are waiting for the copper fire/water bowls and firepit to be installed and our gas lines hooked up but check out the photos, it's an amazing pool and completely transformed my yard into a paradise. Couldn't be happier and I honestly give Presidential my highest recommendation. read more

Update #5 After assurances that the surface finishing would be done this week, we were informed that the crew wouldn't be able to make it out today (Friday), but will be out on Monday. It's only a few days, but after the rest of this fiasco, it's fairly frustrating. I am not taking away a star because management has been responsive to these reviews and the delay is relatively minimal. With that said, the project is now 1 month past the "conservative " completion date. Update #4 So far, the work done has been of decent quality, but communication continues to be poor. The only remaining steps are installation of lights and plumbing fixtures , and application of the pebbletek. Taking away a star because of continued poor communication. Note to the business owners/management : communication is always key with any project, and is exceptionally crucial when delays occur. I realize that some delays are out of the control of the business, but you have a responsibility to communicate progress, and associated delays with your PAYING customers. This is especially relevant when world conditions may be unusually affecting progress. Update #3 We are scheduled to have the decking poured on 10/13.
