I recall the roasted oolong tasting more nostalgic than it did. However it still did the trick. The video boards that cycle through the drink selections moves pretty quick but once you figure out what you want it's not too bad. Service is great. The cashier was attentive and super friendly. I enjoyed the brief interaction before a line formed behind us. Even with a number of people waiting everyone remained calm and hustled. I would certainly return. The bright and cheery environment really set the pace. Even the plants gave it a bit of a home-like feel. Great times and good vibes! read more

Not super-far from me in Aurora, the beverage purveyor Xpresso Tea & Coffee (formerly Presotea until a few months ago) is popular with admirers of both hot and cold drinks of various descriptions, and after one taste, you'll be a fan too. Upon entry you may be a bit apprehensive once you see the sizable list of both the beverages themselves, as well as possible toppings and add-ons. But the friendly staff will advise you of personal favorites and also explain which combinations will be especially appealing (and also, not so much). A drink I've enjoyed on a past visit was brown sugar milk tea with crème brûlée, which was subtly sweet and rich rather than going overboard. If you're in a more purist frame of mind instead, may I recommend the A Li Shan? Named for a popular scenic area in central Taiwan, it is in fact a variety of oolong tea and features both fruit and floral notes to awaken the palate. Speaking of flowers and fruit, the sakura (cherry-blossom) and white peach teas are a few more items to consider. But don't forget the add-ons - a few that especially stand out to me are agar jelly, coconut cream, red beans, and aloe vera. But see what appeals to you when you stop in. read more

After running an errand that took me near Buckley, I needed an afternoon pick me up. I've been craving Vietnamese coffee lately and posed a question on social media the day before - searching for good spot in Aurora (knowing I'd be doing said errands) and PresoTea was proposed. Located in a strip mall off Hamden and S Tower, the shop is easy to spot from the road and features ample parking. Upon entering, the space is splashed with bright colors, a greenery wall, plenty of seating and gives off an overall colorful, fun vibe. I visited around 3pm and it was DEAD inside, in that the only worker was sitting around waiting for me! ha! It's an order and pay at the kiosk and wait for pick up kind of joint, which was quick and easy - considering I was the only one there. I opted for a medium Vietnamese Coffee ($4) with the option to add on a million other thing - boba, caramel drizzle, sweetener, extra ice, the list goes on. The menu items offer a massive menu - everything from shaken teas, to blended teas, special spring flavors and fun milk teas. Just about everything looked good to me and I can't wait to try more of the menu. Within minutes my coffee was ready, and the first sip was perfection. Strong, creamy and just the right amount of sweetness ( I chose the 70% sweetness option) - I could have easily gotten a large, and next time I will! Nice little boba shop in the Safeway shopping center. We stopped here after running some errands and I wasn't in the mood for boba so I went with my old summer standby of a mangonada. The associate warned me it could get spicy and I welcomed that so I went with the regular amount of spice, which to my surprise was pretty mild. My friend wanted to try this place so we came here and ordered some drinks. We were greeted upon entry and the two working were so nice! The interior is beautiful, bright and inviting. There are a couple of seats if you want to stay and chat. So I've tried boba only one other time and haven't had it since because I wasn't a big fan of it. Presotea has changed my mind! The boba really gave my smoothie a pop of flavor and the texture was incredible. They aren't shy about adding a lot either. I ordered the strawberry banana smoothie and it wasn't too sweet or too bleh. The only thing I will say is that I wish the smoothie was thicker because it did turn liquidy pretty fast. Compared to my initial visit, Presotea has improved their speed and service in concocting beverages. Still, Presotea has nothing special to note compared to other boba cafés yet it is conveniently located on my commute home from work. What can I compare it to? Boba/bubbles teas you'd be able to purchase from your local mom-and-pop Phó restaurant. It's not quite memorable but it hits the spot enough to satisfy a tiny craving. read more

First off- absurdly expensive for very very average bubble tea. $7+ for a hot bubble milk tea is absurd, especially when this is the price at Tiger Sugar right down the street (and is actually good). Also, the hot milk tea was lukewarm at best. Second- wayyyyyyy too sweet. 30% sweetness was what I'd call a 70% sweetness anywhere else :/ Bubbles are dece, at least, and the employees are sweeter than the tea. read more

I can't believe I just found this place out and it's only a few minutes away from me. We ordered the panda boba and the genmaicha red bean tea. Both flavors were quite tasty but because of warnings that the drinks tend to be on the sweeter side, we ordered 30% sweet level and it was just right. Aiya! I normally love wintermelon and could drink lots of it but it was no good here. Ordered the wintermelon tea with lemon. Not sure what was going on but it tasted horrible. Not only was it too sweet, it tasted powdery. After getting the drink, the staff person suggested for me to try a fruity drink next time. I'm not sure if this was him signaling to me that the wintermelon drink was no good. I was only able to take a few sips but didn't want to throw it away. It's in my fridge now after sitting for a day and I'm hoping I can salvage the $7 by mixing it with water today. Cute lil boba tea spot with a homelike cafe ambiance. Orders are taken almost 100% completely by AI or kiosk. I have never waited in a line, or even waited for an open computer to order. My drinks were made perfectly matching my ticket even with several substitutes requested. The fruit teas have been refreshing and light, perfect when it's hot outside. Prestotea is finally here in Colorado! I attended the soft opening and ordered the #8 and #10 from the specialty menu. As a boba lover, the teas had subtle flavors. The quality of the tea was fresh. The boba's texture was soft and chewy. The drinks were a bit too sweet for my liking, so I recommend decreasing the sugar level to 75%. If you are in the area, give it a try! read more

The place is really good and nice, but omg the service is soooooooo bad! I've literally never felt so mad about service before then this place. Whatever you do don't go there at nights when the kid with the dreads is working. First off you can stand in front of the register for 10 minutes without him acknowledging you. He has the worst attitude. No customer service what so ever. They need to get rid of him asap. And btw this review is based off of multiple trips here at night. I used to come here religiously without a problem. I would say since April of this year they have continuously gone downhill where I will go the extra 20-30 minutes to find a different boba place. Today takes the cake. I had to stop going to Lollicup last year because I slurped up a clump of hair molded into my boba pearls and tonight after picking up boba with my boyfriend from Preso- he had an entire finger nail clipping in his Genmaicha milk tea that he just spit out. Absolutely disgusting! Why are workers clipping their nails while handling people's drinks?!? This wasn't just a piece of nail that you would rip off your fingers but an ENTIRE perfectly cut nail. I've noticed for a long time that they don't wear gloves or any kind of food safety ppe like hair nets but my goodness y'all. read more

Unfortunately have to update my review and dock them a star. Been back a couple times and I feel like each time I come I'm disappointed now! I just don't enjoy a lot of their teas, and I don't like the texture of the boba. It feels overcooked and too chewy, almost mushy. I think their thai tea is maybe their best, but from there the drinks are mostly misses for me. Still love the interior and vibes! Hopefully they can improve on the flavor! read more

Don't even waste your time here. I came in the afternoon and thought oh a new boba spot and doesn't seem too busy. I'm gonna try it out of course. Biggest mistake of that day. We ordered three summer teas exactly the same. So it really wasn't complicated. There were two orders in front of us but you know it's usually pretty quick at most boba joints. NOPE... I waited about 45 minutes maybe even a hour. Like I'm not gonna be super mad since they just opened but it really should not take that long especially if it's not busy. Now onto the drinks. Everyone hated the summer tea. It was like the worst tea I've had in my life. The artificial taste was just so evident that none of us could finish even a quarter of it. The prices are expensive as well. I'll admit it has a cute interior but that's no excuse for bad drinks and a long wait time. read more

Idk...I wanted to give this place a better rating. When we walked in the two employees working here were sitting at a table and looked like "oh shit" when they saw us, they have an ordering kiosk and it definitely seems like the employees would much rather you order with that then them. Then they were out of 3/5 of the thing so asked for...oolong milk tea, crème brûlée milk tea and the strawberry bubble waffle...literally it was like "oh we're out of that...and that, oh and that. We were the only ones in the store so it was nice inside and cute decor. We ended up ordering 4 drinks but not what we originally wanted. But honestly I'm not sure I'd come back here. read more

I was so excited to see a new boba place in Colorado! I love good boba and it's hard to find especially around here. I used to order it in Thailand all the time and this is the closest I've found to the real thing. The texture is good and chewy, not grainy or stringy like some places, with just the right amount of sweetness. You can adjust your level of sweetness in the drink (70% is just right, 100% is a little too much). I ordered the panda milk tea. It both black and white boba, which I'd never heard of. The white boba was like a chunky jelly, which I didn't like as much but the black boba was perfect. I also got a passion fruit tea and added boba. Both were delicious. The inside is cute, clean and trendy. It just opened last week so they're still figuring out their rhythm so it took a little while, so order ahead if you can. read more

We've been to Presotea before because it was close to our house, but the drinks were mediocre at best. Tried it again today and it's still a bad as the first time. If you want the drinks to be some what decent, you would have to order it at 30-40% sweetness, otherwise they are overwhelmingly sweet. Lost me as a customer. read more

Really great tea, great customer service and located in an area that is deprived of boba! I was so happy when I found out this place was here! I got a brown sugar milk boba and the taste was unlike anything I've tried. I think the brown sugar is cooked down and caramelized. It's so good, I want it on everything. Next time I'm going to get the taro because I heard they actually use real taro! read more

We are avid boba-ers so when I asked what their version of a standard milk tea was and the girl gave me a confused look I knew I might be in for a surprise. Tried my best to order, got 2 milk teas and 1 Thai tea. The milk teas were ok... not much flavor but the Thai tea was the most confusing taste ever... almost like a coffee taste. Not like any Thai tea I've ever had. I did like that we were asked how much sugar + ice we would like. Will we be back? When we got outside, the parking lot was packed and we could see plenty of people and a food truck, there was definitely an event going on We learned it was an event for a K-pop band with vendors and food Set up there to bring people in. There was a pretty good line since it was so packed, we used the online ordering kiosk and got one of their "snows" - snow bowls. Although the most popular are the strawberry and mango, I decided to try the black sesame as it is my personal fave. We also got it with an extra side of condensed milk, which really made a difference and amped up the texture and flavor. It was pretty good, it came with a mochi and frozen red bean paste, almonds, and plenty of shaved ice. It was a giant bowl, too much for two people even, and we took the rest of it home. Surprisingly, it was even better later on when the snow had turned into more of a gelato texture. At nearly $20 for the bowl it's no steal, but it was a nice treat, and I'm happy to say that I've tried it.

For the taiyaki, there are only two options for flavor- matcha or milk tea. There are quite a few filling flavors available. I got the milk tea with Nutella filling and topped with mini Oreos. It was delicious, but not the best I've had. My husband got the Snow Bowl- I tried a few bites and it was delicious! I may have to make that my next foodie showdown. There were some odd restrictions around whether or not you can eat the to go in the building and they lock that bag down to ensure that I guess. Since it is such a large portion of the dessert, seems like it would make sense to have it to go in case you can't finish it. Just feels like an unnecessary restriction. The snow bowls are amazing though! We got the mango and it was gloriously refreshing- told my fella it would be used to bribe me any day of the week. It would be cool if there were different sizes though because the serving is probably enough for several people or one person for multiple sittings- like a small, med, mega situation would be cool. Some ups and down, but I definitely wouldn't turn down another visit to Snowl!

It was delicious but not sure what the white cream was, it didn't have much flavor. The bun tasted like a pancake but was a bit thick and doughy. It was very hard to find an updated menu. I tried google, Instagram, and YELP, but could only find this on Ubereats. Instagram website is worldwide and not based in Denver only. The website link also just brings you back to Instagram, which was a confusing circle.

(We got there after a busy morning so go early if you want the full selection of options) Yeast donuts were so light, it was amazing how airy and fluffy they were, not overly sweet which I appreciated. My favorite was the cake donut, it was so light and buttery had that perfect "crispy" outside with a great chew inside. And this will sound weird but every bite was better and by the end it had an almost creaminess. I wished I had ordered more of those. It's reasonably priced considering the location, and there are no other authentic Japanese bakeries nearby that specialize in souffle-style Asian cheesecake. Yes, there are Eurasian bakeries like EBakery next door, Yum Yum across the street, or Tous Les Jours around the corner, but they don't make fresh cheesecake. Second, I like their limited menu, which means that's all they do and that they perfect it. Japanese souffle cheesecakes are clearly the best when eaten fresh and jiggly, but if that's not an option, you can always refrigerate them and enjoy that slightly dense, creamy texture, still airy. Also, these cheesecakes are naturally not very sweet. They have just enough sweetness to add a touch of flavor, unlike American cheesecakes, which are full of sugar and dense cream cheese. Their cream puffs are, again, on the same limited menu. They have only a few flavors. They are airy and fluffy, not too sweet. Their shells also remind me of soboro bread. Unlike Italian or American cream puffs that have chewiness to the shell. As far as service goes, I appreciate the cashier's patience in explaining each ingredient, what's best, and how to store them and their shelf life. Since they only use limited, whole, natural ingredients, he thoroughly explained how long each item stays good. I do like the idea of bottomless boba drinks as long as you're shopping at H Mart. That's nice, but given its location, it can be inconvenient. Still, the idea is good, I guess. Maybe in the future, if they can incorporate a small cafe setting to sit and enjoy unlimited boba drinks and serve cheesecake by the slice, that might be more feasible with the bottomless tea idea or by relocating near the cafeteria area, which would make more sense.

Unfortunately, we got these on our way out of Hmart and didn't get to take advantage of that. We took our mini cakes home and ate them there. Overall everything was alright. I would go again to try the bigger original cheesecake.

I didn't realize until I'd already taken a few sips. The staff were kind and quickly remade the drink, which I appreciated, but I did end up feeling unwell for a few hours afterwards. It's frustrating to pay an upcharge for non-dairy milk and then not receive it, so I hope more care can be taken with orders like this. I also think it's about time that the upcharge for non-dairy milk is reconsidered, even Starbucks is doing it!

They were terrific, we were parched after the M Mart event, and the tea shop was just a mile further south, so we stopped there before heading home. The shop is in a strip shopping center. There is an overhead sign, but the lettering on the windows is extremely hard to see--at least with the setting sun hitting them. We finally found the shop and shared a Yuzu shaken tea. A friendly staffer quickly prepared the drink for us. It was just as delicious as the sample we tried earlier at M Mart. The chance to sit quietly while enjoying a delicious drink definitely rejuvenated us from the bustle of the M Mart event. This is a neat shop with a curated selection of interesting drinks plus a couple of snacks. We'll definitely return when we're back in the area.

It's a set of wontons with two small drinks with one topping each. Also National Bubble Tea Day BOGO drinks and/or potstickers/dumplings. There was a boba themed book written by an AANHPI author reading. The book was read by Katherine Chow, author of Silly Shrimphony. I believe the book read was I Love Boba by Katrina Liu. Such an awesome day and event. Patrick was welcoming and served everyone in turn their orders. The Sweet Thu-th pop up was also yum! Cake pops - u got the ube swirl and ube flavors. Delish! Everything was so good. Yuan Wonton chili wontons are always transcending. And the refreshing passion fruit with lychee popping boba and mango slush with boba drinks tasty.
