We started with the Fire Cracker Shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were frozen cheap shrimp tossed in a little sauce with soggy coleslaw on the bottom. I would be embarrassed to serve that appetizer. The Spotted Cow burger sounded amazing but the burger is a frozen burger with no seasoning and it was not juicy at all. The homemade potato chips were greasy and soggy. I have never had chips like that, ick. The green pepper soup was ok. It may have been homemade, I am not sure but I was so turned off by the other food I could not eat it. Such a waste of money. The "swastika" design on the floor dates back more than 11,000 years... literally. It is an auspicious symbol in Hinduism as well as several other religions. It was installed in that building before WWII (also, so we were told). In case you haven't priced flooring lately, best to leave original craftsmanship and educate yourself than replace an entire bar floor because some ignorant folks are "offended". My 6 buddies and I flew in from all over the country for a reunion and got an Airbnb on lake Winnebago. After having a great time at nearby bars (The Coliseum and Fat Joes) we stopped here for another drink. After giving the bartender Taylor our IDs, which were from different states, she immediately said they were fake and she couldn't serve us. We are all 25 years old. When we insisted we were all of age she said she would have to call the police. She refused to return our IDs until the cops came, she also refused to give me water until the police came because she "couldn't serve us at all" Refusing a drunk guy water, what a great way to run a bar! The worst part of it all was after 45 minutes of waiting for the police, we decided to call them ourselves. She never even called them! This establishment decided to ruin our night out of malice and spite. The police apologized for her ineptitude and told us not to let it ruin our view of the town. Taylor made that quite difficult.
