Legally, we've since learned that Wisconsin doesn't allow anyone under 21 in bars without a food license -- so the venue was within its rights. But there were no signs, no online notice, and no mention in the event info about this policy. We weren't there to drink -- just to enjoy the music and support a friend. I understand the legal restriction, but the lack of communication made the experience frustrating and disappointing. A simple heads-up on the website or social media would have gone a long way.
