I was so ecstatic about my food [I ordered the Lox & Loaded] that my husband Got excited for with me (a wonderful thing after 36 years of marriage)! I probably should have written this review immediately after but, well...life, you know, so I'm not as clear on the details just now But here is the description from their menu: Cold-smoked salmon, scallion cream cheese, smashed avocado, roasted tomatoes, cucumber, pickled onion, fresh dill, and a soft over-easy egg on a toasted everything bagel. Mixed greens. It was a bit messy to eat but oh how I enjoyed every bite! I don't remember what my husband ordered but I believe he was happy with it. While there, I learned there's a Friendly Toast restaurant closer to our home in Nashua so we went to that location some days later, bringing our son along...but that should get its own, separate, review. The decor at the Bedford location is a sort of quirky, eclectic collection of odds and ends, mixed with a 1950s kitchen or diner design (I rather liked it).

This is an overrated place that needs to improve and stop short changing your customers on food quality and portion size.

Homefries should shine in a breakfast meal! Chili in the omelette tasted suspiciously like Hormel in a can. He did enjoy the biscuit and gravy, and that's hard to make happen. My daughter thought the sourdough was good. It was over $100.00 for our meal, the prices were a little steep, especially for what they were - average breakfast food, at best. I feel bad saying that, but there didn't seem to be a lot of pride in the food.

It's AMAZING! You will want to go back again and again to try everything on the menu. The menu is ginormous and is always changing but they always keep around the best sellers. The peanut butter smoothie is absolutely PHENOMENAL and I love that any smoothie or coffee can be made with dairy free options. It gets so busy here but the service is wonderful and it goes fast. I like the ambiance a lot. It is cafeteria style seating but in a more modern way. Fantastic! read more

I went through the drive through when it was dead and I took my order and all of that was fine. But when I waited quite some time. I saw all of the workers inside just sitting there on their phones while I waited. Then when I finally got my food it was messed up and didn't taste the way I wanted it to. Reviews said this place was great so I gave it a try. The olives in my meal were burnt to a crisp! In terms of the infrastructure, it was like a maze getting around. I felt like I was blocked from half the stuff I needed, and it look me longer to get to the bathroom than it should have. Don't bother. read more
