Our family of 4 had each mixed feelings about this place. It was clean. The cakes in the dessert case were pretty. Seated right away. Waitress was nice enough, but a bit distracted and we had to repeat our order a couple of times. Wait seemed long. We all liked aspects of their food, but didn't like others. The hash browns had zero flavor/seasoning and were a bit soggy. They were the base of my meal, so it was very disappointing. The kielbasa in it was browned nicely, but didn't make up for it. My husband's omelette oddly had a Kraft single melted on the top of it. C'mon. The "pan potatoes" were hard, dry, and uniform, clearly frozen. Again, not a lot of seasoning. Homefries should shine in a breakfast meal! Chili in the omelette tasted suspiciously like Hormel in a can. He did enjoy the biscuit and gravy, and that's hard to make happen. My daughter thought the sourdough was good. It was over $100.00 for our meal, the prices were a little steep, especially for what they were - average breakfast food, at best. Food: I got French toast sticks with a side of beans. The French toast sticks were perfectly cooked with a nice crisp outside and a soft fluffy inside. The beans tasted good but were a little bit watery. I think they could have been cooked down a bit more to concentrate the flavor and thicken up the consistency. Service: We were helped to our table by a charming kid that I assume is the owner's son or something similar. He was friendly and hard working. Stopped by Brothers North End Diner for breakfast this morning. Easy to find and park on Elm Street. The interior is bright and clean. The small tables are a bit cozy, but they have larger tables to accommodate parties or larger families. The staff is super friendly and gracious. The menu offers plenty of choices. I tried the ham and cheese omelette with hash browns. Also tasted the French toast sticks appetizer. Food comes out well-cooked and piping hot. Friend wanted breakfast and I wanted lunch. Brothers satisfied both of us. I had the Brothers Panini. Everything was fresh and delicious. I loved that I could get a side of perfectly cooked broccoli. Friend had a hash and cheese omelet with hash browns and toast. It satisfied the craving. Our waitress had a polite presence and we wanted for nothing. Loved the calm decor and cleanliness. We are new to the area. We found this lovely new family-owned restaurant. The owners are two Guatemalan Brothers, and the staff all seem like family and know the brothers. This is a great American restaurant with a wide selection of standard favorites. A early sampling indicates they are very strong with breakfasts and breakfast is served all day long. They also have a nice selection of home-baked pies and cakes, that we did not sample yet but looked delicious. The ambiance is very homey, and the service is quite lovely with the ladies there There's a great diversity of the staff and there's a true passion to make this around succeed. If you live in the area it's close to bridge Street, maybe 3 and 1/2 blocks north. Definitely give them a try read more

Tried out this new diner in the neighborhood. I had the Green Bowl, my dad had the Caesar Salad and my husband had the Two Plate breakfast. Everything was delicious! We all loved our food. I specially loved the home fries-- they may be the best I've tasted, they weren't greasy and were perfectly crispy. The blueberry pancakes tasted fresh, the sourdough toast was excellent. The food was very good. I had the brother's omelette. The coffee was very weak. The server came and took our drink orders and brought them back quickly. Disappeared for 20 minutes and we had to flag her down to take our food order. It was very cold as it did not seem there was any heat on. I ate here for breakfast for the first time on 10/26 and was rather disappointed. I ordered the green hash brown plate, which comes with broccoli, peppers, spinach and avocado. I asked for no peppers and my dish arrived full of peppers. The server was great, she apologized and stressed that she had written no peppers and I knew she had. The second dish came out with.....peppers. I didn't bother to send it back again because my companions were almost done eating, but it was disappointing to have this messed up twice. And peppers are an ingredient that, if you hate the flavor, will linger even if you pick them out. What gives this 2 stars is our server who was wonderful read more

This is the first time my wife and I have been to this restaurant. Upon arriving I noted the clean and orderly look. After studying the menu we both decided to have the haddock with one of us trying a baked potato and the other having mashed potatoes. We each had a garden salad. The salad was clean and fresh with simple but nice ingredients. It took quite a long time to get our meals but they were both very good. The fish was done just right and the crumb topping was very good and light bodied. Both the mashed potatoes and the baked potato were very good. The only downside was the cold temperature in the room. I mentioned it and the waitress told me that no matter what it was set it wouldn't get warmer. She tried setting it but it didn't get any warmer. That is the only reason I wouldn't want to go there until warm weather and then that would depend on what temperature they keep it then with air conditioning. As a wrap up I would say clean and nice but brighter lighting than I would prefer. service fine except for very slow kitchen output but well prepared food. read more

We decided to try this restaurant for breakfast. Great choice, my wife and I split the 2 plate breakfast and it was plenty for both of us. They were able to do two different egg types for us (scrambled and over easy) both delicious and the pancakes were fluffy. The coffee was also very good and good value at $2.25 for bottomless cup. I believe our waitress was Laura, who was excellent, Al way there with more coffee and a smile. Will need to stop there again for their dinner, but overall I would definitely recommend the breakfast here read more

Based on other positive reviews, a trip to Manchester prompted us to try this place. It did not disappoint! It was nicely decorated and we had our choice of seats as it was a late morning breakfast. My husband ordered the 3 Plate Special, complete with eggs over easy (done perfectly) bacon, beans, pancakes and toast. I had scrambled eggs which actually had a really nice flavor and weren't overdone. I also had link sausage and French toast. Real maple syrup was available to us. I had been fasting prior so I was in desperate need of coffee. Casey was our server, pleasant and sweet and also Carmel, who made sure I had my coffee fix before the food came out. We would definitely return. The menu had traditional fare, but also some different items that looked tempting. I took pictures of our food but I can't locate them. The pancakes had a powdered sugar stencil that said Brother's on it. Nice touch. Great food, friendly staff. It's definitely worth a visit! Enjoy. read more
