The finest breakfast I've had in year's at any price. I had the breakfast burrito, my wife had a salad. All were excellent.

We stopped in, while traveling, for a first time experience. The menu was huge, diverse and interesting! The menu is broad, and spans so many dietary requirements that unless you "eat zee bugs," I believe there is something on their menu you will love. ----------- Wordy review story below: My husband's company orders from Pressed Cafe often, so he suggested ordering take-out dinner yesterday because he was in the area and called to ask us what we would like... Under pressure with the online menu, the four of us ordered: Yalla Hummus bowl, The Wellington, Greek Chicken and Eggplant Chicken Parm panini. My husband ordered at the counter, and he noted that the dining area, kitchen, prep area and staff were clean and well-organized. Staff was competent and pleasant, and didn't do the passive-aggressive tip-demand thing that is so ubiquitous lately. It was around 6:45pm on Memorial Day, and it was busy, but not overly packed for dinner time. He was impressed by the Bar offerings (maybe dine-in next time?) The food was ready in about 8 minutes and got to us in another 6 minutes: the hot sandwiches were still hot- but not soggy- in their foil/paper wraps. Everything was devoured without much table talk, which is rare for us. I thoroughly enjoyed the Wellington so much that I ate the whole thing, even though I had planned on saving half for later. The short rib meat was very tender and flavorful- a really generous portion and well-distributed on the sandwich (which is rare, in my experience). Mushrooms, caramelized onion and 3 cheeses were surprisingly delicious with the meat. While I love Boursin, I questioned its addition to this sandwich- Ha! The Wellington panini was the best HOT sandwich, eaten exactly as constructed by the Chef without substitutions or changes, I have ever tasted! (Sorry, Nonna) Husband was very happy with his familiar Hummus bowl and the kids also loved their panini. The included salad/sides for each meal were a good portion, and delicious (while the potato salad had too much dill for my taste, it was quickly scarfed up by someone else). My daughter, former kitchen staff and server at a sit-down restaurant, proclaimed this joint A+ just on the quality of their take-out salad! She said the mesclun/greens/toppings were very fresh and impressed her. We've not been impressed with virtually any restaurant since the whole "supply chain" issues from Covid. We normally cook at home, and eating out- especially take-out- is maybe a twice-per-month treat. Even the higher-end "burgers and fries" joint raised their prices substantially while substituting noticeably poor-quality ground beef. Honestly, I had thought Pressed Cafe's panini prices were a bit high when ordering because of my unimpressed experiences for the past 3 years, but after tasting them, I'm satisfied with the price for the quality! Watching us enjoy this food, my husband "Dad-chuckled" (his version of "I told you so!") because he has been telling us about Pressed Cafe since being so lucky to eat their offerings weekly at his office for the past year or so. We flew in to see the leaves last week and asked a couple people at the airport for a coffee shop recommendation. One lady said, "I go to Pressed because I like the food, not just the coffee." Legit! Its huge, modern, full of light and the menu is full of healthy flavorful options, plus a full coffee, tea menu. I had a chai latte and it was way above the chain stores. I had to chase the server down to tip her, no tip jar, which I kind of like. I know it sounds crazy but the crew were working hard and getting er done and seemed happy to be there. I came here two weeks ago on a Tuesday night with friends. It was not that busy but it was delicious. My friends were able to have a beer and their sandwiches. I had a Rachel (Turkey Reuben) which was so good and the butternut squash soup also good. I was so impressed I had to try breakfast, I got the salmon bagel which was sooo good and a crème brûlée latte again delicious. Breakfast is very busy, but food came out pretty fast. They do breakfast all day, but great for dinner too. Full service bar on one side, coffee shop on the other. The menu is large but covers a lot of the basics. We really like the Mediterranean choices. For those that haven't been, you walk up and order then find a table. Minimum table service but they clean up everything. This place up on the hill by Lowes and Target in Bedford nh was awesome. This place far exceeds other local food places. We stopped going to Dunkins and Starbucks because of this awesome place. The food is fresh and hot. The coffees out do Dunkins and Starbucks 100 to 1. When Dunkins had the chance we would complain and call corporate but it went on deaf ears. So bye bye Dunkins and Starbucks. You should have listen to our complaints now you will suffer you took away many coffee flavors and foods you thought you knew better but guess what you don't and the consumer has spoken up and got a beautiful new coffee shop we can call our own. After reading the reviews I am thinking that my issues wit Pressed Café is just the location. The food is good but the consistency is crazy bad. I got the same thing 5 times. and 5 times it was different. Does not matter the time either, If they are busy or not busy, it's just bad. Pressed Cafe, Bedford, has been one of our places for take out during the week because it is convenient and usually pretty good. We spend at least 50.00 there almost every week and maybe more. The biggest grudge we have is when they run out of product and replace it with a not so good replacement, without telling their customers. This has happened a couple of times. Don't order the truffle fries from the bar or for takeout unless you know they are serving the regular French Fries; the ones we've been getting since they opened. The replacement shoestring potato's are not so good for truffle fries. They are dry and don't hold the truffle oil or Parmesan cheese. What happened to good customer service? I called to speak to the manager and he didn't seem to really care; I had to tell him I would like an apology. We just spent good money for something that was not what we thought we were getting. Very disappointing! And your potato salad is not good; way too much pickle juice! read more
