Stopped by here for an impromptu lunch with a friend after Zumba class. The place was quite crowded as usual and we looked around for seating and decided to sit at the bar. Nice decor at the bar. You can order from the same food menu. I ordered the nana's egg sandwich in a pita - it was essentially an omelette sandwich with boursin, olive tapenade, cucumber, tomato and schug which is a green hot sauce which I got on the side. It was quite interesting- not what I had expected and next time I would ask to omit the olive tapenade. I asked for ketchup to add in. It was a really good portion- probably 2 or 3 eggs. Very hearty and filling. The friend ordered the eggplant quinoa bowl which comes in this sauce and very cheesy. Comes with bread - really tasty! Found our way here after walking around the Prudential Center (they also have an entrance on Huntington) and were surprised at the plethora of sandwiches and Paninis. We split their signature Pressed panini and were delighted- so flavorful. Service was quick. You order, take a number and out it comes delivered to your table. The menu is extensive- lots of drinks, juices, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, toasts, pastries, burgers, chicken sandwiches, paninis, salads, humus bowls and signature bowls and mac n' cheeses. We love Israeli food so we've gotten all kinds of variations of their Mediterranean food - shawarma bowls, chicken pita, salads, etc. but everything is always bland and doesn't taste good at all. The preparation is pretty mediocre and tastes a bit like cafeteria food. We wanted to love this place since the interior is so cute and there's lovely places to sit outside but it's really just okay. This place is absolutely beautiful. We are visiting from California. And we are so happy that this was our last breakfast spot. Wouldn't have it any other way. If we ever come back to Boston, this is definitely somewhere that we would come to again. The place is super clean, it's super chic. We didn't have too much experience with staff, because they have self service kiosks. But our food came out very very quickly, and so did our drinks. No, let's talk about food, the portions. We came to pressed in Prudential a couple of times now, after I've been visiting their other locations for years. It's very cozy inside with lots of seating. I will say the last time around our food took so long to come out, which was surprising. We ordered back to back but mine came out in 5 minutes and my boyfriend's took like 15. For our to go foods, we ordered at a touch screen kiosk and paid. When our Jaffa salad and New England clam chowder were ready, my name was called. We also picked up a box of day old bakes consisting of two muffins and croissants for $8. The clam chowder was creamy and not too salty. It was full of clams and potatoes. One of the best clam chowder we ever had. The salad was fresh and that lemon salad dressing was so good. We are the day old bakes for late night snakes. I ordered a large salted caramel iced coffee with cream. They were a bit busy so it took a bit longer than we hoped. The interior is huge- lots of seating and space to work, eat, or even grab a drink! There's a separate (and quieter) bar area that's beautifully decorated as well. Herbs omelet, tomato/cucumber salad, avocado slices, feta cheese, olive tepenade, labneh, babaganush, shug, tahini sauce, pita and yogurt with oats/honey for a little sweetness. It usually comes with tuna salad which I skipped since I'm vegetarian. The expresso came eith a glass of sparkling water and a little chocolate. The turkey Rueben was pretty good, although I couldn't taste the thousand island sauce much. Their smoothies tasted fresh and smooth, and weren't too sweet.
