Loved pressed. Everything is fresh and so tasty. The fresh juices are plentiful and so yummy. I prefer the bowls so I haven't tried the sandwiches yet. The menu is pretty diverse. You can get bowls and salads and panini and so many other things. It's honestly hard to choose. The bread is so fresh and so delicious. Even their baked goods are tasty. My only complaint is the price. You can tally a hefty bill for a place that is counter service. You can easily pay over $50 for two people. If you get a bowl plus a juice you're looking at $25 a person. Everything is fresh so the price is kind of justified. I don't think I could eat here too often without impacting my budget. I've been here numerous times and especially like their paninis. This time I ordered the spicy salmon bowl and it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. The bowl had an overwhelming smoky flavor throughout - like it was dowsed in liquid smoke. Salmon did not taste fresh; leafy green vegetables cooked beyond recognition; overall an unappealing mashup of ingredients. I ordered an egg + cheese sandwich on a croissant, with a red detox juice, while my friend got the sausage, egg + cheese breakfast burrito. I loved my breakfast sandwich, it was exactly what I wanted and the red detox juice was perfect. My friend thought his breakfast burrito should have been bigger, but he got a basic one without including any other ingredients such as onions, tomatoes, etc. Uma at the counter was great, and all staff seemed to be very fast, efficient and friendly, even with a full house. There were so many people eating in, and taking out; every table inside and outside were taken as were most of the seats on the side. I thought the prices were reasonable given the quality of the ingredients, good portions, and everything tasted fresh and well-made. There were about ten different things I wanted to order off the menu, which covers everything from açaí bowls to bagels to salads and sandwiches. In the end, I went with the Mediterranean kale salad, which had tuna salad, spicy feta, and tomato eggplant salad, eggs. Absolutely delicious and filling. My one nit is the lemon dressing skewed towards mouth-puckeringly sour, so next time, I might swap it out for a different dressing. I also appreciated how they serve bread upon request when you order, so there's no wasting food. My husband liked his steakhouse salad. Easy parking has become a huge plus for me each time we go, well, anywhere. Street parking is the bane of my existence (just the thought of trying to parallel park while a line of cars starts forming behind me makes my palms tingle) so it's safe to say that, given Pressed Cafe's private parking lot, I'll be coming here all the time. There's a small outdoor seating for when the weather's nice and lots of indoor seating. Obviously Pressed is DELICIOUS, hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the world with their variety of menu options, healthy options, fresh ingredients, large portion sizes (you definitely get 2 meals out of it), and just their delicious food overall. Pressed cafe can have some really good items. But we've eaten here enough now to notice a pattern - the quality is wildly inconsistent. Where one day you might get the best bbq chicken Mac n cheese you've ever had, a few days later you order the same dish and it's possibly the worst bbq chicken Mac and cheese, lumpy, dry meat, watery sauce and just gross. The same thing has happened with each of the other menu items I've had here. They do have a decent latte although very sweet sometimes, so specify what you want with sweetness level. Service is fine for the most part. The folks running the food to the takeout shelf and serving for dine-in orders are nice and friendly. The cashiers can be abrupt. There's a lady who handles the orders coming out of the kitchen, might be the manager? Pressed cafe is a great spot to grab a quick bite any time of day. I believe they are open from 5am-10pm which is really nice. I would suggest ordering ahead online since it does get extremely busy during lunch time. The ambiance of the restaurant is really pleasant. It's has nice seating indoors and outside. There's also a bar that serves alcoholic drinks. Employees are nice. Menu is huge. Breakfast all day, sandwiches, bowls, salads, great coffee. We went during lunch, and it was PRETTY busy. But there was no line to order, we got a table immediately, and our food came out fast, which was nice. I felt pretty rushed to order - which may have been just been me - but I went with the Red Quinoa Power Bowl or whatever it's called. I was surprised when it came out (also - the runner didn't know how to pronounce Quinoa..), as it was SWIMMING in black bean sauce. Like, almost a soup. And the "side of hot sauce" was not on the side - there was hot sauce all over half of the food. I like hot sauce, so that's fine - but what if you don't?! And it came with bread, which I wish it had said on the menu. I can't resist bread, so I would have said not to bring it, as I didn't want or need it. It was ok, but all I could really taste was black bean sauce. It was very disappointing. Overall, they either need to refine their descriptions, or teach their staff to follow what's on the menu.... We decide on a Chipotle Steak and Egg Buritto, an Egg, Cheese, Potato Burrito, and French Toast. The burritos were huge. But we managed. We ordered the French Toast, because a customer said they were the best. They were. With so much food, I needed a second latte. My wife went to order it. And met Tyson. He introduced himself and thanked her for coming in. He also came to our table and met me. I noticed that he seemed to know every customer, giving them high fives and pats on the shoulder. An older guy with a walker came in. Although you order at the counter or bar, Tyson came over to take his order. I assumed he's a regular. This was a great experience. We will be back. read more

It added just the right amount of spice to the sandwich. I took the cucumbers off; I didn't want them for breakfast. The sandwich was huge--it was difficult for me to finish.
