"When you run to the rocks The rocks will be melting So, downpresser man, where you gonna' run to?" (Peter Toash) The Pressed Café has eleven locations sprinkled throughout Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We had an excellent lunch experience with a delivery order from their Newton, MA location. We had a Kids Cheese Quesadilla ($8), a Single Pressed Hamburger ($7.75), a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel ($8), a Coconut Curry Bowl ($14), and an Egg White Breakfast Burrito. My Coconut Curry Bowl was great, and pretty close to anything I get at a Thai restaurant. The bowl was loaded with Roasted Carrots, Broccoli, Zucchini, Summer Squash, Red and Green Peppers, Grilled Onions, Pineapple, Spicy Fresno Chili, Cilantro, Lime, House-Made Spicy Coconut Curry Sauce and was served with a side of White Rice and a whole grain pita bread. I added in a rock-bottom $1 surcharge for some grilled chicken cubes. It was a big portion and half of it went in the fridge for the next day. The Pressed Café's menu is very deep with Daily Specials Burgers and Chicken sandwiches, Coffees Smoothies, Raw Juice & Tonics, Acai Bowls, Breakfast All Day(!), Salads & Soup, Kids Meals, Paninis, Signature Bowls, a Vegan Menu, and plenty more. We were very satisfied with our food, value, and portions.

I want to preface by saying I made a very brief stop here on my way home from Boston, so I'm not sure I gave this spot the chance it truly deserves. However, I wasn't overly impressed with their matcha, which had a very earthy, sort of off flavor, even after hearing such great things about their drinks. On the other hand, I've also been told their food is exceptional (specifically their breakfast burritos which I am dying to come back and try), and they have an extensive menu of dishes ranging from breakfast to lunch to desserts to baked goods and snacks. Truly, everything on their food menu sounded fabulous, and I intend on giving them a second chance soon! As for the interior, it's very spacious and bright but definitely felt a little busy. Despite this, their service is quick and efficient. Another reason I'd love to come back for a longer stay. Overall, my first experience here wasn't the greatest, but it's not entirely at the fault of the establishment, so I'd still say to give them a shot!

My order: Curry bowl with grilled salmon The review: Pressed café is an incredible option for entertaining people with a variety of preferences. The curry bowl was really good and spicy. The rice was not what I was expecting, but it's a Mediterranean place so curry was a stretch! I do recommend sticking to Mediterranean/breakfast dishes for the best outcome here, but if you're craving it, the other genres of food are still delish!

Had a great time at Pressed Cafe! The service at the bar was excellent too. The fried cauliflower bowl was absolutely delicious and perfectly crispy. I paired it with a fantastic watermelon-flavored cocktail that was super refreshing. Highly recommend checking it out!

After a basketball session at the YMCA a friend took our team to the this cafe so that we can try the açaí bowl. The açaí bowl is like no other!!! Indeed it is one of the best I've had in spite of having grown up with them in California. I was so surprised! I recommend the classic açaí bowl! Friends and I have agreed that this particular time there were more grain than actual açaí than expected. Apparently that is usually not the case so just be aware of the proportions :) We went around late morning, early afternoon and saw a lot of families. It's a nice place to just hang out and be in good company!

Came here this week, safe to say this place is really tasty! If you've never been here the menu may seem overwhelming, but if I recommend anything the "California sunrise" juice was so good!!

" Healthy , fresh and tasty : best smoothies in town " The food here is fresh , healthy and tasty . The food is also filling . The service is friendly. The vibe is welcoming. It's reasonably priced . Parking is not an issue they have a big parking they share with other vendors . It does get full on weekends. However they have lots of staff so the line moves quickly. I am fortunate to have this location so close to home . This is the best place for smoothies in my area as well . They are filling . Also made fresh in front of you , if you like too , watch , lol. It's well worth the price . I definitely will put this as my new smoothie spot !

What a menu! Right up my alley. It is actually good and bad because you want to try EVERYTHING! I am bummed because I was only visiting, so I'll probably not have the chance to return for a while. I'm glad to have visited! This location is cool. Parking was a little limited, but we were able to get a spot after a little bit. Went on a Tuesday late afternoon, wasn't over packed, but definitely had a nice crowd. We were able to find a seat... was probably just a couple left. Ordering was friendly and easy. You order at the counter, I'm glad that is still with an actual person and not a screen. They bring your food to you.. they also remove your items, and pack your items if needed. I was in the mood for some protein, so I chose the Backyard BBQ Protein Bowl that was packed with it. Very tasty.. ribs, chicken, bacon, avocado, quinoa, egg... I had to ask for extra BBQ sauce on the side to sauce it up a bit. It was filling and fresh. I love their cocktail menu. Will definitely look to try the next time I'm in town.

I've been coming here the past couple of months and I've tried something new from the menu every time and EVERY single thing has been a 10/10. The food is always served piping hot and the service is incredible - the servers are prompt and friendly. Great place to get some work done and enjoy some delicious vegan food.

They have a limited menu but an extensive selection of scotch and wine. I sat at the bar where the bartender could have cared Lee if I was there. He spent all his time catering to group at the end of the bar. I had to get up and ask the waitress to check on my cheeseburger. The bartender just did not care. I thought the price for a simple cheeseburger at 22.00 as steep. There was nothing special about it. Cheese, hamburger, bun and some jalapeño relish. Take your chances just don't sit at the bar instead sit at a table where the service is better.

We walked into a spacious, contemporary space with a large bar and plenty of seating, the kind of place that works equally well for watching a game with friends or a relaxed dinner. The interior had a comfortable, polished energy that struck a balance between lively and approachable, and the extensive beer and whiskey selection added to the inviting atmosphere. The menu goes beyond typical bar food with a mix of elevated comfort dishes, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, and seasonal entrées. We ordered a few items and found the Chilean sea bass standing out, paired with a flavorful sauce that complemented the fish without overpowering it. The lamb with gnocchi was another popular choice, offering a hearty and well-balanced dish with tender meat and pillowy gnocchi that absorbed the rich sauce. The burgers were cooked to order and made a reliable option for something more casual, arriving juicy and well assembled. For drinks and appetizers, the calamari, burrata, and flatbreads were good options to share, each coming out fresh and well seasoned. The bar program was another highlight, with a wide selection of craft beers, whiskey, and classic cocktails that were well prepared and paired naturally with the food. Service was friendly and welcoming, with staff happy to make recommendations and accommodate different group sizes. While some visits could experience slower service during busy periods, the overall experience tended to be attentive, and the team worked to create a comfortable atmosphere for both families and larger groups. The pacing of the meal stayed steady, and the food came out without much delay. Parking is available in a small lot, though it could fill up during peak dining hours, and the restaurant's location near shopping on Needham Street made it a convenient stop before or after running errands. Overall, District 118 Kitchen & Bar is a solid choice for anyone looking for elevated pub fare in a relaxed setting. The combination of quality food, a strong drink selection, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it equally enjoyable for a casual lunch, dinner with family, or an evening out with friends.

There's almost something cozy about a place like this. Knotty P. has all the diner signs: worn counter, people yapping, the waitress taking orders non-stop, booths aren't huge, aisles are tiny (good luck getting to your seat) and the special scrape sound of the large metal spatula touching the steel flattop. If you don't mind sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with the regulars, then the counter is your spot. The only 2 seats available were at the counter and we snagged them. The breakfast potatoes are exactly what you want them to be: crispy-edges and golden- these have a little heat kick- not too much- but just enough to keep you going for another bite. As non-meat eaters, we appreciated how the cook keeps the sausages in their own territory (something is something I guess) from the omelettes, pancakes, etc. Then there's the energy- fast and a little loud in the best way. And right in the middle of it, is Ileana who has that special spark and every beat, timed.

I came on a Tuesday before noon there was no wait and the place was half empty. We were seated quickly but waited a long time for our food. We started with the cheesy tater tots. They were good. 4 to an order is kind of small but they tasted good. The cheese sauce was reminiscent of velveeta. For mains we got the gochujang chicken sandwich and the pastrami sandwich. The chicken sandwich was cooked well and large in size but underwhelming in flavor. The pastrami sandwich was spicy but had a lot of flavor going on but wasn't memorable. The waffle fries were hot and crisp with a nice seasoning to them. Served with a big half sour pickle. I would go back and try other things. I can't make a full judgement on a sandwich at a place that specializes in brunch so I would try it again. I think this would be a super fun spot to meet with the girlies. It had a few flight options on drinks that looked interesting.
