We went to Pressed Cafe for the first time tonight and it was amazing! We were excited because we're vegetarians and they have extensive vegan options. I ordered the Pad Thai Bowl which was absolutely terrific. It was fresh tasting and the tofu (optional) was cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the Eggplant & Farro bowl. She said it was as good as classic "fainting imam" that she has ordered at a top Turkish restaurant. The service was fast. The dining room is large and the staff is efficient and friendly. There is literally something for everyone on the menu. A+. We'll be going back soon. read more

Good, but could be better. While the service is prompt and friendly, it's the food that lags a bit. I've tried many of the Paninis, and I find them to be lacking in flavor. Everything is fresh, but too many of them are just slathered in whatever "sauce/spread" comes with them. If it's guacamole then all you taste is guacamole, if it's mayonnaise then all you taste is mayo. The quantity of sauce makes the sandwich into "mush" that doesn't have much flavor. The soups I tried were excellent, and the sides and side salads are very good. Maybe just cut down on the amount of "sauce" and let the other ingredients stand out a bit more? read more

I took my mom and son here, and we were all so happy with our meal. It was very easy to get a table at dinner time, and everything was very clean. We love the menu - so many choices - everyone found something they were happy with. I love all the vegan options. Ordering was quick - I wish I was given a receipt and told how much the bill was - my only concern. However, the food came quickly. . . it was all hearty portions, fresh, hot, and delicious. We had a delicious dinner at Pressed. The food is always fresh and flavorful. A few favorites include the Jerusalem Meza Plate, Shakshuka and the Jerusalem Tuna Panini. They have delicious Butternut Squash and salads as well. The service and ambiance are excellent and Josh the Bartender and man of all trades is extremely friendly and customer oriented. I've been visiting Pressed at least once a week since I moved to the area over a year ago. It's the perfect place for a casual breakfast, lunch, dinner or even snack. They have pretty much anything you could want - and every single thing on the menu is fantastic. The staff is super friendly and food always comes out VERY quickly. Not only do they already offer a comprehensive list of meal options for all dietary needs, they also are incredibly helpful with adding additional ingredients and double check allergens for you. The staff are not only friendly and willing to help, they seem passionate about the mission of Pressed selling high quality healthy foods. I highly recommend! My go-to is their delicious oven roasted turkey panini with avocado and Swiss. All sandwiches include a fairly decent sized salad (pasta, potato, Caesar) or soup. Pros: service and the paleo carrot cake muffin! Cons: no AC indoors, not super impressive food My husband and I are visiting from out of town. Seeing all the great reviews for Pressed, I was excited to try it. The first time we got a breakfast burrito and the spicy salmon bowl. The cashiers were SUPER accommodating--I asked for extra veggies in my bowl instead of rice and no onions. Pretty high maintenance order lol but the girls behind the counter were so nice about it and made it happen! We also bought a paleo carrot cake muffin to share--I love healthier desserts so I was excited about this and not disappointed!! It was honestly the best muffin I've ever had, healthy or not. Super moist and just tasted so nourishing. The perfect bit of natural sweetness. Now for the negatives. We weren't super blown away by our meals the first or second time we went to Pressed. The stir fried veggies in my salmon bowl seemed a bit undercooked and more crunchy than I would expected. The second time we ordered paninis (the Pressed panini and the Chipotle Chicken panini). The ciabatta bread was super thick and nothing special. I feel like it kinda detracted from the actual flavor of the sandwiches cuz there was just so much of it. Also, it was SO hot inside. Luckily there is outside seating so we escaped the heat. But idk how the workers survive. The AC needs some help I think. read more

Where were we before Pressed Cafe came into our lives and made our complicated family meals that much easier? From now on, we'll remember to order from Pressed at least once or twice on these family trips. What a lifesaver, and I truly mean that. First off, Pressed has a humongous menu. There were just so many choices it was almost disappointing to only have one meal here during our last family visit. You could spend so many minutes trying to decide what you want. Do you want to go breakfast style with some sort of breakfast burrito? Do you want soup and salad? What about the titular pressed panini? Or do you need the vegan menu? Whatever your needs and wants, you'll find them here. Ordering online was fairly simple too. We picked our entrees, chose applicable sides, and then went to pick it all up. My sister and I both went with the bruschetta panini and Caesar salad and I loved loved loved it. Family members with dietary issues were easily accommodated, which was a huge help. I didn't hear any complaints about the food when we settled in for lunch and this is a group that can complain about the food like nobody's business. A minor miracle happened there, on that wintry day. I can't wait for our next visit to Pressed Cafe during the next big family trip. Now that we know about it, there's no reason to skip it. Personally, I can't wait to try something completely different on the menu. I loved my experience at Pressed! I have visited the one in Burlington before and was so excited when I saw it opened in Newton. I visited on a sunday morning around 10 am and it was totally packed, but my mom and I were still able to find a table once we ordered. The have an extensive menu with something for everyone. It is pricey but the ingredients are healthy, fresh and worth it. We had a Golden Mylk Latte, Iced Matcha Latte, Egg Turkey-Sausage Avocado Breakfast Burrito, a Turkish Bulgarian Cheese Boureka, and Shakshuka. Everything was absolutely outstanding. I think my favorite item was the Boureka. The flavor and texture was perfect. The total for everything was about $40. I'm really excited to visit ago and try more items on their EPIC menu. read more

I love coming here!! I was a frequent flyer at the Burlington location. This is a great loctwin with supEr friendly and awesome staff. Nice size to it with various types of seating. This is a grab and go or suitable for a nice cafe vibe to get work done, sip on coffee, and chat and relax. The food has been great just like the Burlington location. I got a bowl and Mac and cheese and both were SO GOOD!! I will definitely be back all the time. Something really cool is that they will be opening uo and at soon which will serve wine spirits and beer and will add a nice visuals after work vibe to the spot and the area. Come by for great food, coffee, healthy local fruits and vegetables. There's also a large parking lot so no need to worry about that. read more

I was really psyched when I found this restaurant however it wasn't the best experience. The menu is on a board when you enter the restaurant. It's an extensive menu and sounds amazing but it doesn't describe what is in each dish. I didn't want to hold the line up behind me so I just picked something and asked the cashier if it could be made gluten free. Then you find a table and they bring your food to you. My salad had fish on it but it didn't say on the menu that the fish would be served cold. I was expecting a warmed fish on my salad. If I would have been able to read the menu and understand how things were prepared it would have made things a lot better. Then an hour later I had food poisoning. I loved my Wellington sandwich, which is huge (I immediately put half in a takeout container). My side Caesar salad was also good. My husband loves the large vegan menu. I've eaten one bowl at this restaurant, and I didn't like it as much, although the ingredients seemed to be of good quality. Today my friend and I were impressed that after she told our waiter that she didn't like her black bean soup (too spicy for her), he offered to bring her another side dish at no charge.
