This kinda hit. I'm not gonna lie. I hadn't been to a Chili's since I was a lurchy teenager, but…read morewithout a ton of options around The Legends, we found ourselves here decades later. The kids liked their meals, for the most part, and there are good options; mac & cheese, chicken, alfredo pasta, sliders. We also started with their triple dip app; salsa, guac, queso. All tasted good, with the guac being the best thing. The queso had good flavor but was really runny. I wanted to play it somewhat healthy, so we did a fajitas for two meal that had grilled chicken and shrimp. While light on the fajita veggies, it all tasted good. To counter balance the healthy approach, we also ordered spicy margaritas which were very welcome as we were surviving a weekend at Great Wolf Lodge. I was disappointed with the shrinkflation of these; tiny cups, high price tag, barely a whiff of tequila. Aw well. But hey, for a generic chain spot, this place was popping. The service was nice, and we had a good time. It might just sneak its way back into the rotation next time we do the winter time Great Wolf Lodge trip.

I had the Oldtimer Cheeseburger, chips and salsa, and a drink for $12.99. It's really hard to beat that. We also had an order of the steak and shrimp fajitas. And although we didn't get the theatrical sizzling plates, they actually tasted pretty good. The guacamole was fantastic and so was our server Lauren. It was quite busy and the place was a bit of a mess from all the traffic in and out but the experience still had me thinking I should go to Chili's more often than I do. Plenty of TV screens to keep up with the World Cup action. It was a festive atmosphere during our afternoon visit.

UPDATE (July 2026):…read more I believe it's only fair to update this review. After my original review, I was called by Andrew, the General Manager. He apologized for our experience and invited us to give Hooters another chance. I have never had a business reach out by phone to personally apologize. This went a long way with me. We did give them another try. I'm happy to report that our second visit was the complete opposite of the first. Our server, Tiffany, greeted us immediately and actually offered drinks before we were even seated. Service throughout the meal was prompt, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. Our food arrived quickly, hot, and exactly as ordered. More importantly, this didn't feel like management simply "putting on a show" because they knew we were coming (they didn't). It felt like a restaurant that had genuinely corrected the problem I described in my original review. Andrew also offered to comp our meal as a goodwill gesture if we were to come back. While I appreciated the offer, I declined because I wanted to evaluate the restaurant as a regular paying customer. We paid for our meal ourselves, and because Tiffany provided exceptional service, we left her a $50 tip. I stand by my original review because it accurately reflected what happened that evening. However, I also believe businesses deserve credit when they acknowledge a problem, take responsibility, and fix it. Based on this visit, Hooters at The Legends appears to have done exactly that. I'm glad we gave them another chance.

Kierstin was our server, another than the wings, she was the highlight of the evening. Monday is but 10 wings, get 10 boneless wings for free. Kierstin helped with wing and sauce selection. Additionally I ordered a burger, requesting it medium, with bacon. tomato and onion. The burger was closer to well done and along with being dry, it was missing the tomato. When Kierstin checked back, I pointed this out. After several minutes she returned with a plate with 5 slices of tomato. I remarked that one would suffice. Of course that tomato slice did little to enhance the taste of a dry beef patty. As I said, the wings were good, but not good enough to bring us back.
