    Beer IPA from yardhouse taps
    Jen S.

Been a looooong time since we visited this location and it was great! Stopped in Saturday for some lunch and the bar service was on fire, they gave me several samples to try before I made my beer choice and most them were a tough choice. I shared the bbq chicken salad with my sidekick and we 86 the peppers. The salad came out perfect and was delicious. Go by and grab some beer n grub I bet you won't regret it.

It really is just always a solid place. Drinks are good, food is good, happy hour is great, and the specials are good. We made it in for hh and never left LOL. Actually we did leave to join an event at another location near by. It wasn't good we should have just stayed here LOL. Grabbed some happy hour cocktails and the poke nachos!!! Solid solid solid. I love those nachos. Excellent coverage of chips no skipping!! And great flavor throughout. We will be back asap!!

Have only had beers and not food so wasn't sure. So many menu items sounded delicious. My husband has the club sandwich. Fries were hot and the sandwich huge. I had the enchilada stack that was spicy and so good! Would eat at this chain again and beer was also good.

08/10/2025 whiskey & aged white cheddar burger $15.99. Wifey wasn't impressed. She ate the insides & left the bun.

We were in the neighborhood and stopped by since we've never been here before. It was super busy and pretty loud! Wifey and I were seated in about 10-15 mins. Waitress took a lil while to come greet us. It was so loud that we were guessing half the things that she said. I was starting to get irritated cause it was so loud that I could barely understand wifey who was sitting right next to me. It took us a while to decide what to get since the menu is HUGE and had A LOT of selections. Waitress brought some samples of beer for me to try, but none appealed to me. Wifey and I stuck with water. Wifey ordered her burger and I ordered the bacon blue cheese burger. When the food came I received the bbq bacon cheddar burger. I was so hungry I took a bite. I didn't like it cause the bbq sauce was pretty sweet. The waitress took it back & was having them remake it to the bacon blue cheese burger. Who I think was the manager came over and said they'd comp my burger. I asked for it to go since wifey was almost done with her burger. Wifey pushed the buns aside and jus ate the insides. I guess she didn't like the buns or was too much bread. Anyways, we took my burger home to eat. It was big, but flavors was ok. We both agreed that we tried this place and won't go back. The waitress was pretty good. She tried to sell me on getting beer, but there was jus soooo many to choose from and none I liked. This place jus wasn't anything special to us. More for whoever does like it. A Hui Hou

We come to this location every time we're in town, sometimes multiple times during a single trip. Usually we have a good experience and often bring 5-8 people per trip. This trip unfortunately was a nightmare of an experience. We checked with our waiter about ordering Mac and Cheese for our son who has a food allergy. He called himself a professional and showed us where allergen information could be found on the digital kiosk. He said it did not so we ordered it for our 9 year old son. After waiting 40 minutes for the food to come out his food has noodles other than macaroni noodles in it. We stop him from eating it, he cried and we tell our waiter about the other noodles. He goes and checks which prompts a manager coming out saying "Hey friends, unfortunately the food your son just ate does have egg in it." He said he was telling his GM and apologized. He offered to make him a new plate which we declined due to time constraints and the unease of if our son could or should actually eat it. The chef came out and explained that the manager was wrong and the food does not contain or come in contact with egg. He also said "well he'll get a little nap" when we told him that we just gave Benadryl preparing to have to administer his EpiPen and rush to a children's ER. We've normally had good experiences at this location and have been here probably 20+ times over the years. It's going to be awhile before we come back after this experience and uncertainty. If you have food allergies or have a loved one that does, I advise you to avoid this location as well.

Geovanny's customer service was exquisite!! We were seated quickly once we came in and because it was our first time trying out Yard House we needed a little time to view the menu. Geovanny was great with the questions we asked and on point with the menu suggestions. What a way to start a first time dining experience!!! I chose the Maui Pineapple Chicken. Didn't want anything heavy since we were out for a day off shopping with a few more stores to browse. So glad I made that decision. The chicken couldn't have been cooked more perfectly, the jasmine rice was a nice accent and the sauce OMG So I substituted out the brocoolini for a side Ceasar salad. I'm not a broccolini fan but the salad was fresh, with of freshly shredded parmesan and the perfect amount of dressing. I'll be back, there were a few more items in the menu I wanted to try and certainly plan to. Great dining experience at Yard House (Legends location.)

Fun spot! Not only are there several enjoyable things to do in the Legends Outlets, I can assure you this a good place to eat. Fun atmosphere and plenty of space and good service. We started with the firecracker shrimp which were a hit. Great flavor and I enjoyed the rice cake as a base. My entree was the carne asada tacos and I very much enjoyed them as well. I went with a party of four and I heard good reviews all around! Their beer selection seems to be more robust than many places you'll find and their cocktails looked good from what I could see (nice presentation!).

Great Vibes & Cocktails! This place is in a great location. Parking is horrible due to it being in a outlet mall but other than that, the drinks are amazing. Wait is not to bad, but the customer service is great and the food is magnificent! If you're looking for a great chill vibe, this is the place to be, especially if you're in Kansas City, check them out...You will not be disappointed!

Top: Korean BBQ Cheesesteak Bottom: Pepper Jack Burger

This was my first experience at any Yard House location, and the food was amazing. We went on a Sunday night, so it was rather crowded, but the wait was short, and we ended up getting a spacious booth. Yard House has a number of TVs playing a variety of games, so you really had your pick of what to watch if you chose to. I got the Pepper Jack burger, and my husband got the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak sandwich. I'm not a cheesesteak person, but both meals were incredible tasty. I recommend a visit if you're in The Legends.

Service was great and the food was delicious! The menu includes various alcoholic beverages and the dessert menu was great!

    Spicy edamame
    Cheri M.

Nice interior but can be a bit loud since it gets pretty busy. Excellent service. The server came immediately to take our order. I ordered the blackened Ahi sashimi and spicy edamame. My friend ordered the same. It came very fast, which was surprising since they were very busy. It was a generous amount of edamame which made me happy since I didn't wanna stop eating it. Just the right of amount of spice. Yum! The flavor of the sashimi was so good! Loved the sauce and tasted very fresh. I'm not sure what I liked better, the sashimi or edamame. They were both very good. In fact, I want to come back here and have it again. It's that good! I'm always afraid to order something different if I really liked something that I've already had. I'll definitely be back to eat more of that deliciousness.

We are staying at Great Wolf Lodge for the weekend but I wanted to venture out for food. I kept reading reviews for this place and we decided to give it a try and so happy we did. Our waitress was awesome and attentive. The ambience was so pretty and inviting. The food was phenomenal. We were too full for dessert but will definitely be coming back!

It's a lovely restaurant. It seems a bit out of the way with mostly corporate buildings around. The restaurant has a nice modern aesthetic. I like the purple hyacinths hanging from the ceiling in one area. It was very steady for an off time in the afternoon. First, our server Olivia was amazing! Very attentive and we were extra needy this day so I really appreciate her patience. We even dropped food on the floor. Oops! She was so nice about it and cleaned it up immediately. We had customizations and extra requests. No problem for her! She went above and beyond. I hope she sees this because she was such a joy! The food was also very good. We started with the biscuits and one peach compote and one blueberry. Both were yummy. They were traditional drop biscuits and I love a good biscuit! We also had an order of fried green tomatoes on goat cheese grits. You get 4 very large slices. I could only eat one. The grits were yummy but there were not enough of them in relation to the friend green tomatoes. They were also encased by a sauce. I'm guessing a remoulade. I don't really care for remoulade sauce so I'd have removed it had I known it came with the dish. It really overpowered the goat cheese taste in the grits. The tomatoes were very al dente and I would have preferred them cooked a bit more. The dish was still good but my least favorite and I would normally love anything with those ingredients and fried green tomatoes are a favorite so the remoulade (or whatever it was) sauce was a real problem for me. I would definitely get them again without the sauce because they are great otherwise. But that sauce just overpowers every other flavor! I got the chicken tender dinner and others in my party got the bone in fried chicken. Everyone liked their chicken. The tenders were a big size. 4 of them but I hit 2 meals out of them. Everyone liked the Parmesan rosemary potatoes. I really liked the bacon green beans. The only side we weren't impressed with was the Mac and cheese unfortunately. The cheese was not good. We got coffees and a chai. All of them were very good. A bit pricey for the amount you get though. Even with the smaller complaints, I'd still give th a 5 because of the outstanding service and the dishes were overall very good and large portions. We will definitely return and I hope to try out a breakfast item next visit!

Unfortunately, the service side fell flat. We arrived mid-afternoon around 1:30-2:00, and the restaurant wasn't busy. We asked if we could sit upstairs, and the host seemed confused before telling us it was closed, then seated us directly next to a loud group despite plenty of quieter open tables nearby. A few minutes later, we looked upstairs ourselves and saw multiple occupied tables being actively served...what the heck? The most frustrating part of this experience wasn't the seating, it was the complete indifference from the staff. Drinks didn't arrive until after we had already finished eating, and despite the restaurant being relatively slow, nobody seemed remotely concerned. No urgency or communication. Just a normal day for them, I guess. A kitchen can only carry a restaurant so far when the front-of-house operates with this little care for hospitality. The atmosphere gives the impression of a place that wants to feel polished and upscale, but the service felt lazy and disconnected from the guest experience. Mistakes happen in restaurants. What matters is whether the staff notices and cares enough to fix them. We left wondering how a restaurant with food this solid has become comfortable delivering service this poor.

This restaurant is a gem and Chef Longres brings a dining experience that only few in the KC area can bring. Him and his staff's attention to detail, outstanding service, on top of incredible food should bring every Michelin Star, DiRona award, and James Beard award. You'll find very few restaurants in Kansas City that bring this quality, enthusiasm, and detail. The Hearth Experience elevates it even further. It was great seeing the same staff in the open concept, French Brigade kitchen after a year plus. You've got to be doing things great in this difficult industry to maintain that staff dedication. Plus on top of this Chef Longres is always keeping an eye out for kids and brings them back into the kitchen for a truly personal experience. And it's further afield than we normally do for date night so it felt like a choice he wouldn't expect, which is how we roll. We arrived at about 6:30 on a Friday and it was pleasantly full but not crazy. I had reservations, obviously. The staff had all signed a nice postcard on the table to note his birthday. After we put in our drink order (he got an old-fashioned and I got a Dr Pepper, since I was driving), our server brought over two bottles of Prosecco, one being NA since she wasn't sure if I drank or not, and offered us a toast for his birthday. I thought it was a nice gesture. They ask that you put in your full order at the top of the meal so they can pace it properly. We started with the whipped goat cheese with brussels sprouts and fried saltines. An interesting dish and fun to see saltines reimagined as something high-end. He got their gigantic pork chop and I got a perfectly cooked and delicious KC strip with the creamiest mashed potatoes. I saw half butter and half cream and I thought, that's for me! Lol. That wasn't a cheap entree, but it did include a sauce (I got béarnaise) and a choice of side. I took more than half of my meal home. At that point, she brought out the dessert menu and Kyle decided on the flourless chocolate cake, which is one of his favorites, but that he often doesn't get at a restaurant because so many restaurants buy their stuff from Sysco now. And holy cow, it's the best dessert I've had in ages! A great reminder of how good a flourless chocolate cake can be. Anyway, I definitely would recommend Acre. They did a great job of making my fiance feel really special and just generally had terrific service and wonderful elevated food. Helpful hint: there is a $25pp no show fee on reservations, so be aware of that, and cancel at least 24 hours out if you think you might need to.

However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.

We were seated on time at a table next to the bar-side of the dining room. Speaking of the dining room, it's a nice, if standard size for a strip-mall space, but I really appreciated that the tables were not stacked on top of each other, as seems to be the case at more and more places these days. It felt like there might be some chance of our entire conversation not being completely overheard by our neighbors, which was nice for a change! Our waitress was fantastic! She walked us through the menu, the restaurant's approach to cooking and seasonality, some of her faves, and made wonderful recommendations! We decided to split a few small plates, which was a great approach! We got to try about 1/3 of the small plate menu, and loved it all! It was all great, but the Black Cardamom Burnt Ends are NOT to be missed! It made my cardamom-loving, Midwest soul very, very happy indeed! The space is a really nice size - not massive or overwhelming - and with the shades drawn down (to seal out the late afternoon sun, thank goodness!) and dim lighting, the mood vibes were solid for a romantic anniversary dinner! The other ambiance item of note is that the restroom corridor smelled absolutely fantastic! Upon investigation, it was due to a burning candle from a lovely local-KC company that was custom made for the restaurant! Yes, they're for sale, and yes, we picked up two! While everything was lovely and the food was very good, you're definitely paying a high price for it. Not that it's not deserved, but the "value" feels aren't necessarily "off the charts", by any means. And that is really my only critique, if there is any at all! For the tomatoes, one slice was the heel of a tomato and another was only half a slice? entrees: Switching to mains, I had the Seared Scallops and Shrimp, which is two medium-sized scallops and three shrimp over beans, rice, and corn ($33 as of 08/2025). Did not feel this was good value for the money. My wife ordered a burger, but initially received what appeared to be maybe the Grand Street Stack. Her Grand Street Stack arrived a few minutes after everyone else already had their entrees. Once we figured out she did not receive a burger, she had another long-ish wait while the kitchen made her a burger. Management politely removed the burger from our check. Perhaps of note, the menu describes the bacon as Double Thick Bacon; however, it appeared as regular bacon to us. details: Although the address is Renner Boulevard, the entrance does not face Renner. The entrance is around back. Plenty of easy parking in adjacent garage. Interior is sleek and modern. Music appropriate level for conversation.
