There are a few tv's playing sports and/or news in the background. Ordering is simple with a cashier. You don't have to be a member to eat here as they accept credit cards for payment. Or, you can also charge it to your membership account which will be totalled to your monthly dues. Note: breakfast is only served until 11:30a. We didn't realize this until 11:35a. But, there are several 'all day' breakfast items. You pay, get a buzzer, and go back up when your items are ready. We both opted for the breakfast sandwich which is only under $12 (after tax). It comes with fruit or a side salad. And may I just say ... it was a DELICIOUS breakfast sandwich. The multi grain bread had some sort of grilled cheese on top. The medium eggs were perfectly done. The bacon was crispy and the avocado was creamy. The side salad with caesar dressing was generous and fresh. Friend had same sandwich but in wrap form. She also enjoyed it quite a bit. Today, I finally decided to explore more of the menu and ordered the Caesar salad wrap and a berry smoothie, and once again, Jan's did not disappoint. The smoothie was delicious, and I'm definitely planning on working my way through more of their smoothie menu! What really impressed me was the Caesar wrap. I had it sitting in my car for a few hours between work shifts before I was able to eat it, and somehow it still tasted incredibly fresh--almost like it had just been made. I did ask for the dressing on the side, which I highly recommend if you're planning on saving your wrap for later. It kept everything fresh instead of getting soggy. I genuinely love this place. Every time I'm in the area, my biggest struggle is deciding whether to go into Jan's or CAVA right next door--but I guess I could have worse problems, right? On top of the great food, the staff at Jan's have always been friendly, welcoming, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. For toppings, I loaded it up strawberries, bananas, apples, blackberries, blueberries they truly have so many options. I also love their variety of nuts, seeds, and different types of nut butters. They really don't skimp on choices. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by. I was SO full after, and honestly, you could even split a bowl with a friend because they pack it generously. It's about $12 for a normal medium-sized bowl, which I think is worth it for the portion and quality. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated.
