Absolute scam artists. Daughters car was in an accident car sent to his garage per police no choice to me. Evaluates the car keep in mind drivable needs 2 fenders front bumper skin wanted 4000 for repairs. Said no of course sent son to pick up car charges me a 600 tow bill for 4 miles and a 65 dollar charge for estimate. This is nothing but a scam and a lot of people are involved. Also an FYI. Had a great experience here. 2012 Acura TL got passenger side smashed in by a box truck that ran a red light. Prestige fixed it quick and better than new. My service manager kept me updated and handled the insurance company (and advocated for me to get genuine OEM replacement parts-not cheaper imitation stuff). Car looks great and would definitely recommend them to a friend. They turned an unpleasant situation into a car that looks better than new. Panel gaps are all perfect and you can't tell that the car has been damaged. Attached are some before/after shots. Initial estimate from Prestige was $700.00 LESS than the estimate I received from the insurance company - I personally submitted the claim. Prestige asked for a copy of that estimate. I didn't understand why they needed it but I gave them a copy. I was then told by a Prestige employee that the estimate I was given from the person I dealt with prior was way off, " I don't know how he came up with those numbers." it is "probably going to be more" than what the insurance estimated. After I dropped my car and thought about it, I wanted to know what exactly is "probably going to be more." I called and asked for an adjusted estimate. I was told there is no such thing, they won't know until "we get in there and see." The car was done and I was asked to bring the check from the insurance company to sign over. I explained I would pay them with a personal check. When I got there and ask them how much to write the check for, it was the exact amount, to the penny, of what the insurance estimated. How can it be that exact? I am an honest person and had even called my insurance company to ask what should I do if the repairs were less. I was told only if what insurance assessed wasn't adequate would it be renegotiated. read more

I hate car stuff. . .always feel like I'm about to be robbed! Prestige was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They are well known in the area and have an excellent reputation. Rocco took care of my estimate and processed the repairs. Used them for an insurance repair to my car, THEY were not satisifed with the paint job after the repair and took the time to paint it again. Shops I worked with in the past would have just given it back to see if I complained. The car looks good as new. . .actually better! I banged up my SUV and needed to get some body work done. I brought it to Prestige and they did a great job. There's no way to tell that I ever had an accident. The damage from this accident was covered by insurance, but I had a small amount of damage from a previous accident that wasn't covered by insurance, and I decided to not have it repaired. Prestige buffed it up for no charge and it's now pretty much unnoticeable. On top of this, they cleaned out the inside and outside of my car - completely spotless. I've never seen it so clean. Absolute worst experience of my life, workers were the worst and very disrespectful and didn't care that I got into an accident. I was forced to use this tow company as to I could've had my own come and help me. They wouldn't allow me to drive my car home knowing it was capable of making it home. They charged my boyfriend $200 in order to take my belongings out of my car when I had alll of tmmr stuff in my car that belonged to me, so I shouldn't have to pay. They make up their own rules. They are scam artists and will take all your money even know you had no choice but to use them. They are the worst I've ever been too. Do yourself a favor and go to a different tow company If you're in this situation. read more

I got rear-ended in my brand new car. I had owned it for 8 months and it just hit 6000 miles. The main damage was the rear bumper cover, the underlying brackets and some metalwork which all had to be replaced. The metalwork and the physical repair was excellent. The problem was the color match. It really didn't match the car and was dull! Not only was the color off, but the metallic flake was different in that it was not as prominent and didn't match the rest of the car. There was also excessive orange peel texture to the finish that didn't match. Looking at me like I was crazy they felt it was "Pretty close". I didn't realize "pretty close" on a BRAND NEW CAR is what we were going for! I had my spouse and friends look and they all agreed it was noticeably off and dull. They actually seemed annoyed I wasn't jumping up and down about the job they did and said I was possibly the pickiest customer they've ever had. Is "Like it never happened" really an unrealistic expectation? I would have settled for "You really need to walk around the car and catch the right light to see it." Now I'm honed in on it and it's difficult NOT to see. I chose the shop (I interviewed 5 shops prior) because they had a good reputation and were the only shop (Which was very clean) with two paint booths leading me to believe perhaps they had an edge. They said they would repaint, but ONLY if they ended up basically repainting half the car! Essentially RUINING the beautiful stock paint job. I wasn't willing to take that chance. It really shouldn't be THAT hard to get a proper butt match on an 8 month old car! Trying to make best of now limited options, I had them wet-sand next to the butt match at the quarters and buff it up which DID look much better. So now it matches, but only in CERTAIN lighting conditions. It should be the other way around where it matches 85% of the time. The rest of the time you can still see it. I've been sitting on this evaluating it for 3 months before writing this and I'm just not happy with it and I know the shop is not going to do what I want which is just to repaint the bumper and perhaps a light fade on the trunk. They'd said 10% chance they'll be able to get it better. Granted it's a red metallic, but c'mon. You told me you've got imported world class painters and all this other jazz, and it's 10%? Maybe they're right, but it sounds like they just didn't want to do the work/expense of materials to me. They were paid in full by insurance (Which let's face it is PREMIUM rate!) so now I have to find another shop willing to get it right and spend money out of my own pocket. Excusing the accident, the color match has made me fall out of love with my new car. The first new car (Which I splurged a little on) I've had for over a decade and will have for years. Every DAY I look at it, it bothers me and it's a monkey on my back. Yeah it's my problem that I can't just "get over it", but it doesn't make it suck any less. The car was a big deal for me and the most I've ever spent on a car at $43k. I can't prove it, but I also think they scuffed the outside of the driver's seat near the adjustment controls. I don't remember it being there and as anal as I am about this car I think I would have noticed it. Though I could have let that go if the paint was right. So unless you aren't picky or have a REAL EASY color to match (like black), I would not recommend prestige auto. read more

Wonderful experience! I got rear-ended and one of their flat beds picked me up. I was about to let my insurance company take it to another place to fix but you should know that you have the right in New York to take your car anywhere. Lucky for me I took a chance and left it with Prestige. They fixed it promptly with no hassle. It looks better than before the wreck. I echo the recommendation already posted. Just basing this on an experience I had while driving down Rt 9 North on 6/28/15,It was raining and I was stuck behind some slow traffic when this tow truck came flying up on my rear end he was bobbing and weaving like it was my fault we were going slow he rode my bumper and almost rear ended me I will never do business with this company and will tell my friends and colleagues not to call this company,If this is the way you drive YOUR the guys who cause accidents maybe your just trying to drum up some business... 10450-are the first numbers of the licence plate of this truck just so you know it's one of yours .Shame on you and that driver he made your company look like crap!!! read more

The first time I was ever in an accident I was towed by Prestige. It was about 10 years ago in the middle of a blizzard. The owner ended up coming out and couldn't be more helpful and put me at ease about the situation. He even drove me all the way home so no one had to come out in the two feet of snow to get me. Hoping I never would have to use them again I got into a minor fender bender with a mailbox! I stopped in just before 5pm without calling because it is the closet place I knew of on my way home. One of the guys Rocky stopped what he was doing and fixed my scratch right then and there while I waited so I didn't have to come back. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone. After 42 years of driving, my first accident was in December, 2015, I was cut off by someone turning in front of me, took off the right front of my car. RIP OFF! Prestige Towing ripped me off for a $350.00 towing charge to pick up my son's car from the scene of his accident. The tow distance was about 2 miles. The police called this company in for the tow before I got to the scene. Prestige Towing took advantage of the situation and charged me this exorbitant amount of money. RIP OFF! read more

Unfortunately for my summer plans I ended up getting into an accident just a few weeks in! I was so upset as I had just bought (actually ordered) my car a couple months prior to this. I've never been in a car accident before where my car would need body work and thought for sure my new car wouldn't be the same. I don't know much about cars, but I knew mine wasn't going to drive away from the scene that day. Lucky for me John, from Prestige, showed up and towed my Jeep for a reasonable price back to the shop. I decided to keep my car there for the repairs since dealing with the tow had been so easy. I had heard from a few friends at this point that the owner had been in business for quite some time and was reassured they would do a great job. I'm so glad I listened to them! My Jeep was repaired in what I considered to be a timely manner for the amount of work that needed to be done. Rocco, who works in the office was really patient with my constant questions and phone calls. My car came out of the shop and you would never be able to tell it had been in an accident. Best of all, it drives like it has never been in an accident. Definitely recommend these guys to help out in unfortunate accidents like mine! read more
