I got the inspection done today and the experience was great. Jay, one of the owners, welcomed me to the shop, very friendly. I sat in the waiting area after they started the inspection. There was another customer there and we started chatting. He couldn't praise the guys there enough. This other customer and I started lamenting how a lot of businesses don't provide the same customer experience we were use to from when we were younger (yes, bunch of old guys lamenting the world is going to...) and he said J&J is one of the exceptions. Jay showed me some additional concerns on my car...brake and tire wear. He showed me the problem areas and said I have some time left but these expenses are coming down the pike. It was refreshing to see this sales approach...I was aware he was upselling the other services they offer and I was totally happy with that...that's what all businesses must do. It was the approach, education, and showing me why the repairs would be needed that convinced me that when I need the work to be done, I will go to Jay and his team. Well done guys and keep it up! The last time, he told me I could pick up my car at 5 p.m. When I arrived at 5:30, I was informed the door was still apart, and I would need to wait another 20 minutes. At that point, the owner was already becoming aggressive and swore loudly when he saw me. I asked if the window was fixed, and he responded impatiently, saying he had already told me on the phone that he took the door apart, put it back, and it was now working. I asked if the issue would happen again, and he said it likely would. I pointed out that it wasn't fair to charge me since the problem wasn't fully resolved, and I had been told I would receive a call before any charges were made. The owner then walked up close to my face and said, "I'll let you go this time, but don't ever come back here again. I think you're a bitch." He then quickly reassembled the door in three minutes, dropped my keys at me while looking down on me, went back into the store, and shut the door behind him.

My family has been buying cars from him for many years. He is super honest and trustworthy. He'll give you the best deal that he can. You've never met a nicer car salesman. Can usually get in within a reasonable amount of time, and anyone who helps us is always friendly and considerate! They listen to us. They also tell us if any services can wait. We were getting tired of being ripped off by the big car companies, like Honda, Toyota, etc., where we always were charged a lot more than we were expecting.
