Excellent service!!! I brought my '06 BMW X3 in after a fender bender. Of course as a BMW owner I was a little apprehensive bringing the vehicle in to a new place but none of my fears were justified. Hudson View replaced the front fender with a brand new BMW part and the car looks as good as new. Plus the service was on time as quoted. Usually I don't write reviews but I was told to come here from a friend and get an estimate for my car. I understand people don't always have the best days but I brought my car in an hour from where I live to get looked at and the woman at the desk was absolutely fantastic. A man named Darren came out I believe he owns the shop which makes this a little more disappointing, and he was very short and quick with me. Didn't really want to hear what I had to say about my car at all and didn't even care to work with me on a price. As soon as he ended the conversation he took off in his truck so I believe he was in a rush. I have used Hudson View Auto body twice in the last couple of years for two company vans. They take pride in their work and it shows. My most recent experience with them was once again great. After they did the bodywork, my van looks like new. They even cleaned the inside and left it smelling good with an air freshener hanging from the mirror. I would highly recommend them. By far the best auto body shop in all of Poughkeepsie! I have used Hudson View Auto Body many times, frequently after a fender-bender or some kind of accident, because I'm on the road all the time. What i like about them is their professionalism, timeliness and friendliness throughout the entire process. Being in an accident can be a difficult experience, and it's really nice having someone helping you through that experience when and if it does happen! After my accident Allstate Insurance Company told me to go here. BIG HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!!! Worse place ever! NO communication about what was being done or the options Had to go back 2 times afterward to get small details repaired. Missed the entire part in the engine that was damaged and ended up paying out of pocket for that mess. After hitting a deer on the Taconic, our insurance company recommended Hudson View auto body for our repairs. They did a fantastic job on all the body and paint work. Repairs were completed in a timely matter and we were very with the results. The only complication was when one of our headlights no longer worked, and when we went to repair it we noticed the housing of the light was removed and the wiring was taped. We brought the car back and it was repaired immediately without any out-of-pocket cost. The staff was gracious and accommodating. Would return in the future! read more

Horrible quality of work. My bumper was hot glued on because they did not replace the brackets that hold it on. And as I was there I saw another "completed " car that was in front and the newly painted parts were so far off in color it looked like it belonged on another car. Not to mention the "owner" has horrible people skills and thinks the work he is putting out is quality. Do not suggest any one go to this shop. i experinced a fender bender, which i was at fault caused no damage to other vehicle however i bumped his rear tire which is mounted on outside of his truck and i dented my hood which appeared minor but also, my air bag blew, so i had to have it towed. when the insurance adjuster approved my claim i was happy so i could get my var back on the road. they asked me which place i wanted it to be repaired and me not having a auto body person in mind due to not having accident in thirty some odd years he suggested "Hudson View Auto Body" saying that they have done countless repairs with great results in the past for my insurance company. So of course i went with his recommendation. They kept my car for weeks saying they were waiting for parts and approvals (which was already Pre-approved) Finally, when it was ready they were adamant to not release my car until i paid them upfront the 500 deductable howbeit, they charged over 7,500 for repairs thast were not needed just to push the labor they replaced my bumper, grill, headlights, hood, seatbelts, air bags,and array of other things that were not needed so they could charge labor and time spend. The seatbelts malfuction (still to this day) The paint they used is chipping, and the grill is not orginal parts peeling off like cheap crappy job. they werent even apprective of customer. when i tried to make small talk he blew me off and said he was too busy this time of year when refering to do work on my other cars. I will never recommend anyone to this poorly run business and i now think it was a inside job hookup with him and the insurance adjuster.. most likely friends or family scammers. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST.... if ever needed a body shop again i will pick one myself and not listen to ill-advised adjusters. The only thing that was needed was the HOOD and AirBag driver side The rest was all RIP-OFFS and ALL-STATE INSURANCE aDJUSTER WAS IN ON IT FROM THE START! beware stay away from them really bad experince, and as my wife says I NEVER LODGE COMPLAINTS, but in this case i had too. read more
