TPS sensor that was supposedly replaced twice

Purchased the vehicle with no lights on in working condition. On drive home, tire sensor for slow leak turned on and check engine light turned on. Called them and they said they would fix everything. Took the vehicle back on Tuesday. They called and said everything was fixed so we picked up on Wednesday. On the drive home, both lights came on again. Called them and they said bring it back and they will fix everything. Took the vehicle back on Thursday. They kept vehicle until letting us know it was fixed on Monday of the next week. Went and picked up vehicle on Tuesday. Tire pressure light came on again for the same problem on the drive home. Turned around and took vehicle back to dealership. Told them we wanted our money back and they said that isn't going to happen. They told us to take the vehicle home with the lights on or leave the vehicle there and they would bill us every single day it was at their facility until they took it to the salvage yard but they explicitly said that we are not getting our money back. We purchased the vehicle with no lights on and are not paying for a vehicle that has lights on and issues. Dealership has failed to deliver a fixed and working vehicle with no lights on, has denied us our right to a refund for a faulty vehicle, and has caused two weeks of severe emotional turmoil and 10+ hours of drive time back and forth. They are currently in possession of our vehicle because I refused to take home a faulty vehicle with lights on for the third time and they are also in possession of our $10,600. I had to start the arbitration process of getting my money back.

This is how the car was when they got it and "made it look good"

I was helped by Ashley, and I highly recommend her to anyone else looking to purchase a vehicle. Even though my appointment to view a car was at 7:30pm (half an hour before closing time!), I was warmly greeted, and at no point in time did I feel rushed, even though she had to stay at work longer because of me. I really appreciated Ashley's honesty when she didn't know an answer to a question. Love a person who can admit when they don't know something and then go find the person/resource with the knowledge! She made sure to get me the info I needed. Also, when I messaged her the day after my purchase because I noticed something that I had missed when initially viewing the car, she responded very swiftly and got me set up with service right away! Shoutout to her manager, Mark, John from Warranty, and David from Finance as well, who all helped make the purchasing process go smoothly~ Satisfied with my new car, and the service that I received!

BE WARNED -- I WOULD NOT BUY FROM NORTH COAST MITSUBISHI OF AKRON. PLEASE READ WHAT I AM CURRENTLY…read moreGOING THROUGH. Everything I am describing here is based on my personal experience and is supported by documentation. I purchased a 2022 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X from North Coast Mitsubishi of Akron. Within four days of purchasing the truck, it experienced a major electrical failure. North Coast took the truck back for repairs and ultimately had it in their possession for nearly two months. My insurance company paid North Coast approximately $11,000 for the repair after I was told the problem had been identified. I finally got my truck back, and within approximately 35 miles of leaving the dealership, the electrical problems returned. The truck is now at an actual Nissan dealership, that North Coast authorized to do further repairs after acknowledging they did not fix it correctly, and it has been more than four months after purchasing it, I still do not have a reliable, functioning vehicle. In my possession. What has made this experience even worse is how I have been treated while trying to get help. I have been hung up on, belittled, and repeatedly given information that has not resulted in a resolution. During one phone call, a sales manager apparently did not realize the call had not disconnected, and I heard comments referring to me as "f--ing stupid" and "a baby," along with laughter and a comment that it was not their problem because I was stupid enough to buy a used truck. That is how a customer was discussed after purchasing an approximately $38,000 vehicle from this dealership. I have also repeatedly attempted to escalate the matter. I requested the names, email addresses, or phone numbers of upper management within the North Coast Auto Group so I could speak with someone who had the authority to resolve this. I was unable to get that information through the dealership. Meanwhile, North Coast accepted approximately $11,000 from my insurance company for repairs, yet the vehicle experienced the EXACT same electrical problems almost immediately after it was returned to me. I have now made four vehicle payments on a truck that I have effectively been able to use for less than a week, in four months of owning it. This has also affected my employment. My job requires me to have dependable transportation and to travel for storm duty. I bought a four-wheel-drive truck specifically in part because I need a reliable vehicle for those responsibilities. I have now filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office. I also have extensive documentation, including emails, repair records, insurance correspondence, time-stamped photographs, and information from the Nissan dealership that currently has the truck. I encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here to do your own research and read the dealership's reviews before signing anything. I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I want one of two things: Fix my truck fixed completely and correctly at no additional cost to me, or buy the vehicle back so I can move on and purchase something dependable. I tried for months to resolve this privately. I would still prefer a fair and professional resolution. But after more than four months, approximately $11,000 in insurance-paid repairs, four vehicle payments, countless phone calls, and a truck that is still not fixed, I believe prospective customers deserve to know about my experience. North Coast: I am still willing to resolve this professionally. I am simply asking you to stand behind the vehicle you sold me and the repair work you were paid to perform.

She indicated they weren't on the window sticker but I said for a 40k vehicle not to have floor mats seemed ridiculous. She promply went inside and spoke to someone who sent her to parts to get me a nice set of deep weather resistant floor mats! The financing wasn't as great. The young man was friendly enough but as I looked over the electronic contract I noticed the price was nearly $5k over sticker. I asked and was told it was for the additional protection packages. He had put on $600 interior protection, $700 wheel and rim protection, $600 gap insurance, AND a $2800 service plan without asking if I wanted any of it. He didn't push back when I asked questions but in the end I had him remove all of the add-ons. I understand that this is how the dealership makes most of its money but I think they should ask before putting any add-ons in the contract.

Several months after buying a 2026 Kicks, out of the blue, my dashboard screen began to flicker. I had to take it back three times after I was told it was fixed. Now the lane keep assist has stopped working when the cruise control is engaged. I asked them to give me what Carvana offered me to be done with it. I don't want a lemon. They wouldn't. I was told they couldn't match it. I find that sad after the significant amount of time & money I've wasted. Please think twice before buying a car from them.

2014 Impreza Timeline February 19, 2026…read moreBegan a conversation with Zach Minnix regarding the car Mr. Minnix texted 3 photos of the undercarriage, some rust. February 20, 2026 Asked Mr. Minnix if the car had been inspected, and did it come back clean? Mr. Minnix responded "Yessir, clean inspection, which is not surprising with such a low mileage car" Asked Mr. Minnix if there are any significant door dings or scratches? Mr. Minnix responded "no sir" and sent a video of the walk around. The video sent by Mr. Minnix did not include a note on the extensive body rust on the wheel wells. That rust showed itself when the car was up on a scissor type lift being inspected by Cars, LLC (aka The Subaru House) when parts of the body fell off. In order to hide the extensive rust from any unsuspecting buyer the rust had been covered up with silver duct tape. More on that inspection later. Mr. Minnix put some pressure on by stating that another potential buyer was coming in to have a look at the car...also stated he didn't have much wiggle room on the price...the response was to tell him the car is sold...the car was purchased for $10,100, which was paid via credit card. The deal was done and the car was shipped, arriving in Brentwood on Thursday, February 26. February 26. Mileage :45234 Took the car for a drive and realized immediately there were some issues, especially brakes...which barely worked and exhibited a large pulsation in the pedal. An appointment had been made at Waltrip Subaru on Friday, March 27 for an inspection. The morning was peppered with texts from Waltrip that updated the cars condition. The estimate from Waltrip was over $8,000 for the rear suspension and F/R brakes. The Service Manager stated that the car was "not worth" repair... Understanding that Dealerships are a very expensive way to perform this kind of repair, the car was taken to Rhea Little Repair Shop (very trusted) in Brentwood for another inspection, with the same results. Scott of Rhea Little stated he had "never seen rust this bad". He suggested the car visit Cars LLC (The Subaru House) as they are well known in the community for extensive work on Subaru Products. March 24, 2026. We are concerned with components being unable to handle STANDARD road conditions. We often make offers on scrap vehicles, but this vehicle is outside our range of interest." While the car was up on the, lift pieces of the body separated themselves from the car. Turns out these pieces of what look like they belong to the wheel wells had been re-attached to the car using silver duct tape, to cover the extensive rust.
