We had our original blinds from when we purchased our home replaced in our bedroom. What an upgrade. We were referred to another company by a friend and that company was very busy and we were far from them and didn't want to take on the job but referred us to Prestige Blinds. When your competition thinks highly of you, you must be doing something right. We contacted Prestige, spoke with the owner Ronnie, he came out gave us an estimate. He had samples for us to see to make our choice, measured the windows, and gave us a written estimate. Everything looked good and he ordered the blinds/shades from the manufacturer. Ronnie gave us a call when everything was ready and set up a time to come install. Best part is Ronnie does the work so you don't need to worry about who is going show up at your home. He was on time, organized, tidy while working, and cleaned everything up when done. All the work done in a few hours that day. Took time to go over everything that was installed and how it functioned, how to maintain and care for the blinds/screens. Fast forward a few months. We are so happy with the blinds/screens in our bedroom, we decided to replace our faux wood blinds in the main part of the house. Gave Ronnie a call for an estimate, on time again and we went ahead with the new project. Ronnie communicated with us that the manufacturer was behind on their orders and that he would call us when he had everything in and ready to install. (It was only a couple of days more than initially thought it would have been) Everything was installed in a few hours and looked fantastic. I would definitely recommend using Prestige Blinds. I had Ronnie G come out to my house to get an estimate for some Roller Blinds for my Sliding glass doors. He arrived & showed me a few options. He was writing on an invoice of the 2 I liked the most. He gave me a quote which happened to be considerably more than Budget Blinds for essentially the same product. He asked me for the 25% that is required to order the product. When I told him I wanted to think about it, he got upset & said, " you are not buying today", I told him no because I had only 1 other quote & that I obviously wanted to shop around a little. He kept trying to pressure me & said I won't find it cheaper, which I already had. When he saw that I was not changing my mind, he picked up the invoice, & took a plain piece of paper & wrote 2200.00 & left. He obviously was nice in the beginning although he kept looking & texting on his phone, however after he realized I was not going to buy, he just became outright rude & unprofessional. My friend was here & witnessed the whole thing & was even more appalled by Ronnie's behavior. After observing his behavior, even if his price was better, I would never use Prestige Blinds. I don't know if Ronnie G. owns the company or if he is a salesman, but either way, i would never recommend Prestige Blinds!! Ronny, you just called me a liar. I have no reason to lie, or try to destroy your reputation. I am telling the facts as they happened. It's sad that you can't take any criticism. I met Ronnie when he came to my house to provide a quote for Plantation Shutters. He was one of 3 companies I had narrowed down to interview. His prices were fair, not the cheapest but very, very reasonable. What ultimately sold me was his professional demeanor and to be honest a string of recent positive business reviews. He did not make false promises, he never hesitated when answering questions demonstrating his knowledge of the products and installation procedures. He quoted a price and estimate delivery. I paid him a 50% deposit and to my surprise he was back the very same week he promised. It took 12 weeks from order to installation. Speaking of the install, Ronnie was also back on the job to supervise and they were in and out in an hour! Super-fast, super clean. They took the old blinds I had so there was nothing for me to do but enjoy my new view. Oh, and the icing on the cake, Ronnie also took the time to adjust my first set of Plantation Shutter doors the previous company (despise this company, don't even ask) so I didn't have to pick them up to close every time. A courtesy he was in no way obligated to do but but did so happily. Turned out it was simple adjustment. PS - the previous company had told me that lifting the doors to close was normal. It was not, just sloppy installation work on their part. All in all I would give Ronnie 10 stars if I could. Honesty and reliability in today's service economy seems as unlikely as finding a unicorn.
