This included removing all the old original metal framework, plexiglass sliders and screens. They are the local retailer at all local Home Depots or you can hire them directly by calling them which is what I did. Home Depot has a sample shutter in stores so you can see the quality and material in person. All permits and drawings were professionally completed. Their employes arrived on time, did a professional installation and cleaned up their work area when done. Out shutters look great. We didn't have to follow up or chase anyone. We heard of them through homedepot which provides customer the extra protection and warranty. They can help you install the app and control the hurricane shutters this way if you need. It's pretty straightforward though to do so with the app and alexa. I'm very pleased with the fast service, quality of work, and price. 4 Tapcon screw heads broke off 2 studded angles on the storm panel tracks, leaving the shanks buried deep in the concrete, and both footers totally useless. Not a good thing, especially in hurricane season. I saw Mike's truck on the road one day and took down the contact info. I emailed him with some photos of the problem, the next day two of Mike's best guys rolled up and 20 minutes later all done. Mike's team did a better job than the company that installed the shutters 15 years ago. The way I see it, if this is what Mike and his team are like in the small jobs ...I can only imagine how good they are with the big jobs. I am very glad that I called this company. I have a second story condo with aged hurricane shutters over patio screening that was very old, torn, and worn. I called this company based on reviews I found on Yelp and they did not disappoint! From the initial contact to cleaning up after installation was something to expect from every company but sadly you cannot. Scott came here to show me what was available, quote pricing and measure. Sarah worked with me on the paperwork. I didn't feel alone dealing with this and it was alot (condo paperwork). I had 2 guys show up to do the installation and because the were late ( 10 minutes ) 2 more showed up and they finished installing 2 large shutters in an hour and a half! My elderly mother dictated this to me....From beginning to end, Shutter Services and Screen Repair, Inc. were excellent. They provided quotes from low to high, and they came in with the lowest amount. They were fair, competent and very efficient. The company provided me with a reasonable time window within which the repair persons would arrive. (two hours), and then called me a half hour before arrival. The first workers to arrive were not able to do the work, so the company sent two other workers. The project involved an older blind. The lowest cost option involved cannibalizing shutters for a part that is no longer manufactured. I had been informed that Shutter Services was not certain it would be able to find the correct part. The only other option would have been to purchase new blinds, which would have cost several thousand dollars. I am pleased to report that Shutter Services is an honorable company, and did not fleece me, when I would have had no idea whether the needed parts had been found or not.
