While working from home during COVID, I'm not longer near my normal service dealers, Suburban Cadillac in Plymouth and Les Stanford in Dearborn, so today I decided to visit Prestige (near my home) for an oil change on my XTS. I noticed the price was nearly $20 more than the $50 price offered by Les Stanford, so I asked the Prestige service rep if they would honor their competitor's price and showed her the lower price on the web. In my past experience, Suburban Cadillac immediately agreed to meet their competitor's price, yet the Prestige service rep very non-nonchalantly told me no and said Prestige would not lower the price. I left and decided to take my vehicle to Les Stanford next week when I'm in the area. I have to wonder why other dealers can perform services for lower advertised costs when Prestige won't even consider it. Now, I won't even consider returning to Prestige for service in the future nor to purchase the 2021 Escalade next April. read more

So this review is for everyone whose car has been in a collision. Please run from this Prestige Cadillac of Warren recommended by Mercedes St Clair Shores!!!!. Our vehicle was in an accident in June 2022, and we still haven't gotten it back. They will accept the work knowing they have the mechanics to repair it. Once they touch, no other repair shop will touch it!!! Your will be a vehicle hostage, and they don't care. They won't call when they say they will, and when they say your vehicle will be repaired on a certain day, it won't. So many lies, and they hide. And AAA Auto don't have Insurance agents anymore, you'll get better results talking to the dial tone. We are in the process of filing a complaint with the state of Michigan through the secretary of State as I'm writing this review. This place isn't capable of changing oil. I purchased a 2019 Cadillac ST5 from prestige. When I bought the car it was a demo, had a little over 5,000 miles on it. This is a three year lease, I asked & was told that at lease turn it, miles should be at 36000 instead of 31,500 the usual at 10,500 a year. I was making my car payment & noticed that contract miles say 31,900, I couldn't believe it, I called GM financial and was told on the contract it says 31,900. I could have swore I signed a contract that said 36000, but it was on another sheet of paper. Watch out, they are crooks at Prestige read more

This is the worst dealership experience of my life. My Cadillac broke down on an area I am not from. I had it towed to the local Cadillac dealership for a no start. A week and $700+ they put on a remanufactured starter. It still would not start!!!! I bought a battery put it in and it started right up. $700 consisted of $375 new starter which should of been under $200 dealership cost. And they charged $300 in labor , said it took 3 hours. However the online repair manual shows .7 hours. I have a local repair shop that I have used for years look it up. I got taken to the cleaners here. Word of warning, STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

I would put zero stars if it were an option. I paid for a diagnostic of one issue that involved 3 systems. They told me each of those systems needed replacement. Turns out my steering fluid was low and filling it solved all of the issues. They still charged me to diagnose 3 issues. I asked them to explain how I needed to replace all 3 systems to fix the issue, but the simple addition of steering fluid solved it. They would not explain or even discuss with me. This was an ongoing issue that left me without a vehicle for over a month. I ended up paying and not going back to spare myself the headache. read more

My vehicle was in the body shop after an accident last November. It took over 4 months to repair my vehicle. The damage was extensive but I still feel that that amount of time is ridiculously excessive. I had a deadline to turn in my lease on March 30th, and I expressed this to the staff three weeks in advance and multiple times leading up to that date, and the vehicle STILL was not finished until March 31st, and I was not notified of completion until April 4th. Communication during the repair period was poor. Every time I called for an update, I was promised a progress or follow-up call that never came, resulting in me having to call for information regarding my vehicle. All that considered, any time I did deal with the staff in the body shop, they were professional, polite, pleasant, and accommodating. When I went in today to pay my deductible, I looked at my ATS and the work that the body shop completed was incredible. My ATS looked like a brand new car and I felt sad that I had to turn in my lease and couldn't drive it anymore. The actual work that was completed was to the highest standard, and I appreciate that. I think my experience would have been improved greatly if the communication was better. read more

Since the new owner took over, the employees have consistently been extremely rude, and make you feel like you are bothering them just for calling or going in for service. Sandra king was an absolute pleasure to deal with in the purchase of my Cadillac Escalade. No high pressure sales, and very helpful in putting together a deal that worked for me. I looked all over Facebook marketplace and 500 miles out on auto trader to try and find a deal, and the prices they were offering vehicles at prestige was significantly LESS than what I could buy the same vehicle for by owner. I looked at what suburban Cadillac was offering on the way through, and they were trying to retail an Escalade that was knocking! If your looking for an honest Cadillac dealership on the greater Detroit area, I would highly recommend prestige. If I could give no stars, I would. Crooked service department that won't honor bumper-to-bumper warranty. Says squeaks and rattles aren't covered, so did not attempt to fix any. There are service bulletins for some of these items! They wouldn't release car until we paid $275 for "diagnostics." What an absolute sham -- and this is supposed to be a luxury dealer with premium customer service? Appealing to GM to get our money back. Update: Took the car to Serra. They fixed EVERYTHING and confirmed it was covered under warranty. We paid nothing. We will be seeking a refund from Prestige. Their service department is either fraudulent or they lack proper training and do not understand warranty coverage. We will NEVER return. read more

After 27 hours in service department without ANY communications, I can't give anymore than a 1 Star. I called service advisor Brandon and he said it's been so busy and when my car was towed in yesterday he told me it could be two or longer days. Ummm car wasn't towed in and he didn't say it would be two days before it was looked at. I do not recommend Prestige. Unless you want a trade in offer. Sales Dept texted early in morning. Service department is a joke, had my Escalade in their shop for 8 days was charged over 1300 dollars and the problem still exist. Took them three tries to get the wheel alignment right, was back and forth at least five times within a two week span, finally took my car to another shop and got it fixed the same day. I do not recommend this dealer for service, drive an extra 10-15 minutes to Troy or Rochester dealership and you'll save on both money and headaches. read more

Me and husband have been loyal Cadi customers at this place for as long as I remember. We'd buy a new car every 3 years or leased and had great sales experience and amazing service. My car just flipped the 50,000 mark and is out of warranty but I still took it to the dealership for one last oil change. I didn't drive it the next day but the day after that there was a horrible grinding noise and the car wouldn't move. They did fix it but ever since then, I've had all sorts of messages coming up on my panel (codes) and they can't get me in to look at it for a month! I'm hoping what happened right at the 50,000 mark/oil change was coincidence but I have a bad feeling it wasn't. My husband insists I take it back so they can fix my Cadi for good but I fear I'll be shelling out many a penny before that happens, if ever. Blower motor went out and leak in tire for Cadillac. Took in for service, they fixed tire and told me blower motor was bad but on back order... Shuttle took 45 minutes, less then a mile from work! Week later, tire is still leaking and blower motor comes in. I drop car off, 2 hours later they call and say there is something else wrong that is what burned up blower motor, oh and that piece is on back order as well. I ask for a loaner since its 95 degrees and the air isn't working. There response is they do not have any. 2 more weeks go by, and by the way the tire is still leaking after they fixed it twice. I call to see if the part came in and explained I'm headed to Chicago and can't drive the car with a tire leak and no air. Their response... Since the part is in back order, we did not open a work order, so we cannot give you a loaner. Maybe you should look into renting a car! I have a brand new Cadillac, but they want me to spend more money! Lol Called Serra Cadillac where I bought the car... They say sure bring it in and we will give you a brand new CT6 for the weekend! There's a lot of wrong at this dealership, let me explain the reasons why. I've actually had one good experience at this dealership and that's the reason I choose to go there when I got into a car accident in my 2016 Cadillac Escalade. I had my car towed to the body shop and the insurance company informed the body shop to do a "tear down" to asses any further damage to my vehicle. The body shop manager Don Owens Told me he would do the tear down and more than likely my vehicle was a total loss. I waited 7 days for The body shop to do a IMPROPER TEAR DOWN and they then told the insurance they could fix the vehicle within 2-3 months Without actually assessing the damages like any other certified gm dealerships body shop is trained to do. So I waited 3 weeks after they told my insurance company the car could be fixed and I wanted to get a update on the vehicle (Not one Phone call in 3 weeks from anyone) Don Owens answers the phone and basically told me that now my vehicle is going to take 4-6 months to fix and I would be stuck without a car till his body shop is done fixing my truck weather I liked it or not, he than said that he told us this front the start which is a lie. After being disrespected by Don I had no choice but to get a manager involved which later ended up getting fired for misinforming me and trying to send my car to a different body shop cause they didn't have the ability to repair my truck. Another week goes by and I had enough of the run around over the phone and went into the dealership and delt with a service shop manager Mark turango and he informed me that they will be putting my truck at the top of the list and repairs will be done by oct 29th, and another week goes by and nothing happens, i go back to the shop to see what's the hold up and why nothing is being done as promised. And I got a complete runaround, Don calling Mark a liar and Mark calling Don a liar. Mark even went to the extent of saying he hated the fact he had to work with a liar like don, At this point I had enough and went and asked to speak to someone above both these clowns. And I ended up having a meeting with the owner/person in charge Mr. Jackson, in this meeting I was promised that everything will be taking care of and that I should have no concerns and that he was so angry that his body shop would treat a customer with disrespect and that his body shop would send a repair job to another facility and made a bunch of empty promises, because the next day they made me move my truck and I had no problems with it I was promised a smooth process and at this point I wouldn't trust these people working on a bicycle!! I ended up taking my truck to La Fontaine Cadillac and that was one of the best decisions I've made with this issue La Fontaine seen the vehicle and the first thing they said is "Jesus Christ Couldn't Fix This Vehicle" and informed me that PRESTIGES BODY shop missed almost 25k in damages on there estimate because they did a IMPROPER TEAR DOWN ASSESSMENT, they also informed me that if this truck were to be fixed that it would be a death trap on wheels. And to make the matter worse when I called and told PRESTIGES this the only thing they said is, Oh we order parts for your vehicle if it's a total damage we need to be compensated for our parts and they didn't want to release the checks they alrdy cashed from the insurance company (almost 35k) and Mark informed me that he had a deal with La Fontaine to buy the parts WHICH WAS A COMPLETE LIE. I than had to go back down to Prestige and have a A Phone conference La Fontaine and my insurance adjuster infront of MARK because he continued to try and Hold my money for my truck, He was told by both that he had to release the checks and was called out on his lies. At the end of the day my truck was a total loss!! But my NEW CADILLAC ESCALADE ESV from La Fontaine was the best choice made in this horror story. BUNCH OF LIARS AT PRESTIGE SHOP ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Although this dealership is close to my home, I will not be returning here for service. In November of 2016 with my vehicle at 6,500 miles, I brought my 2016 Escalade to Prestige for it's first oil change and tire rotation. With the oil life monitor showing 29%, my service advisor informed me that I had just met the requirement for the GM Premium Care covered oil change which required that the oil life be at or below 30%. He also advised that effective 2017, the oil life indicator would need to be at or below 25% . I was then informed that the GM premium care would not cover a tire rotation until 7500 miles, so I would have to come back for the tire rotation once My vehicle met the required mileage. Not knowing any better, I obliged and made a second visit a month later for the tire rotation. Then in July of 2017 with my oil life monitor showing 26% at 11,500 miles, I stopped by Suburban Cadillac near my office in Plymouth to ask if they could change my oil at 26% before a planned a road trip. The service advisor had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. He told me my oil change would be covered under the premium care plan. And then he asked if I'd like them to rotate my tires as well under premium care. He said they preferred to rotate tires when they change the oil so that their customers wouldn't be inconvenienced by having to make separate trips for tire rotations. After experiencing true professional / luxury level service at Suburban Cadillac, I will never return to Prestige (AKA Rinke) again. It's a shame that Prestige spent all that time and money building a beautiful modern dealership and show room only to deliver poor service that pales in comparison to their competition. read more

(Which seemed like the only person who kinda wanted to help me) So Rodney says we did a appraisal on your car. (Without my car even there and 2 days later). And we'll buy your car for $7000. $7000 what is $7000. My cars sticker price is 49,000. Yes my car has damage on drivers side just over the wheel. Where somebody bumped into me parking. I had that looked into it's $1000 in damages so that depreciates the value of my car by $10,000. And he brought up the bs about the "savaged title". IF MY CAR WAS A SAVAGED TITLE. MY WARRANTY WOULD BE VOID so why would I still be getting my car serviced for free So once again. You've wasted my time. read more

What I thought would be the best new car experience has been the absolute worst I have ever encountered. In all, Prestige has been in possession of my vehicle for approximately four of the thirteen months I have been leasing this car and if I could end this lease tomorrow I would. Fortunately General Motors has made goodwill gestures by making two monthly payments for me. The latest chain of events occurred since I brought my vehicle in 12SEP18 for an insurance claim for road debris damage to the front end of my 2017 CT6. I have had the vehicle in my possession for two weeks since I received my vehicle back at the end of October from the body shop when I discovered work that was done by them was not done properly and now the radar/camera system needs to be calibrated and aligned. To add to this, the dealership had to get the equipment sent to them from Bosch to do this! I was told that I am the first to ever have this repair done at this dealership. I find this very hard to believe that no one has ever had front end damage on a CT6. The car has been is the service area now for the 2nd time since 19NOV18 and the technician has had to disassemble the front end of my car twice now as the repair is not working for some reason. This is the same type of experience I had the very first day I picked up my car and we could not fill it with gas and I was without my car for a month and a half. The service area and body shop operate under their own silos and there seems to be no accountability or one single point of contact who will provide me updates on my vehicle. It is only when I reach out to Prestige the majority of the time that I find out what is actually happening to my vehicle. It also appears to me that the technicians - in some instances - do not know what they are doing and for this to occur at any dealership - let alone a Cadillac dealership - leaves much to be desired. I have also not been able to utilize the Onstar and Sirius radio features that I now have to pay for even though there was a complimentary period which I was denied taking advantage of. Lastly, I had given a neighbor of mine a GM Authorization number as she was looking to purchase a XT4 or XT5. She visited your showroom on a Saturday and told her salesman Kevin what she wanted and asked for a price. After two days of no contact by her salesman she contacted him and he did not have a price ready for her request. Consequently she left and purchased the vehicle form your competitor, Genesis Cadillac. There seems to be some major systemic, training, and communication issues with this particular dealership. The fact no one from this establishment (such as the General Manager) has been available to discuss this with me or has reached out to assure me things will get better is unacceptable. I cannot bear to deal with this nonsense at this dealership any longer. read more

i've spent $500 in repairs after two weeks of buying this car! on october 12th, i purchased a used 2009 dodge journey from pristige cadillac and i've had more problems with it than i can keep track of. 4 days after i bought it, on october 16th, the battery died. I thought that maybe i had left the lights on or something, i was still unfamiliar with the car. i got it jump started and things seemed to be fine for a few days. later that week, the battery died again and i was two hours late to work. i took it to my mechanic and he said the battery was 6 years old and that he would replace it for me. problem solved (i hoped). now, a few days after replacing the battery, the car is still having problems starting and i will have to replace the starter as well. on top of that, i couldn't pump more than 2 or 3 gallons of gas into my car at a time. this was due to a faulty fuel pressure sensor, which would tell the gas pump that my tank was full when it wasn't. I've also had an issue with the wiper fluid. they sold it to me with no wiper fluid in it so i bought some and filled it up myself, but it still won't work. finally, they sold it to me with 3 of the 4 brake lights out. i've been at the mechanic more in the past two weeks than i have in the past 2 years with my. all added up i've spent almost 500 on this car and i've had it for 2 weeks. i'm completely livid!! nobody at the dealership will take responsibility for selling me such a piece of shit. DONT BUY FROM THEM!!!! you will get ripped off and stuck with a car that barely functions. read more

Brent Diggs Sr. I am a Cadillac man. I have loved Cadillacs since I was a kid. My grandfather owned a 1959, 1961, 1968, 1970, and 1980 all Cadillacs. I currently own three Cadillacs 1968, 1979, and 2013 XTS Cadillac. Early 2017, I began looking for a newer Cadillac as a graduation present for me, because in May I was graduating with my MBA, and at the time I owned a 2007 DTS Silver Cadillac which was part of my fleet. I found Prestige Cadillac and seen the Caddy I was interested in buying. Made contact with one salesman, but a week later he retired. I called back to again, and salesman Mr. Henry Flakes took answered. Mr. Flakes was very courteous. We talked and set a time for me to come and test- drive the new Caddy. When I arrived, it felt like at Prestige Cadillac I felt like I was in Haven, New Cadillacs everywhere. This wasn't my first time at a Cadillac dealership, but I knew this was the place for me. The exterior of Prestige Cadillac was charming, and the interior was immaculate. It was a sunny day, and Mr. Flakes met me outside when I arrived. I have to admit and give credit when it due, Mr. Flakes is a top-notch salesman. Mr. Flakes my cousin and I all went to his office where he offered us snacks and drinks. Prestige salesforce was polite, everyone spoke with a smile and asked if I needed help with anything. Mr. Flakes and I got down to business. While handling business we discussed life, school friends, work, and family. I know consider Henry as a friend and part of my family. Everything was approved by the finance company; however, we still had minor details to work out at Prestige. Mr. Flake's road 60 miles with me to finalize my deal that same day, I never experienced such salesmanship in my life. I noticed a few things during our road trip my glove box wouldn't open, right headlight out, a noise coming from the left front of my car, and air coming through the sunroof. Finalized my deal drove 60 miles back to Prestige Cadillac at their expense, and Mr. Flakes spoke with his manager, he returned to my Sapphire Blue 2013 XTS Caddy and handed me we owe you a receipt for the things I previously mentioned wrong with my car. By the way, my Cadillac is exceptionally nice, pretty, and sexy. Also, I looked at many different dealerships, and Prestige Cadillac beat their price hands down. I have bought many cars, but never have I done a deal all in one day. When Henry, my cousin and I made it back to Prestige it was 8:30 p.m. and they were closing. However, the manager knew we were coming back, so he waited. Mr. Flakes and Prestige Cadillac told me to call when my schedule permitted to have those things taken care of at no cost to me. What happened next blew my mind, and what's sets Prestige Cadillac from all other Cadillac dealerships period. This is going above and past beyond for your customers. There was a problem with the finance company. Prestige Cadillac rewrote my contract, no changes and Henry drove 60 additional miles to my house for me to finalize and sign the contract. Mr. Flakes did this twice. This is unheard of in the auto dealership industry. Also, this is something I have never experienced in my life even with car dealerships that are 10 miles from me. So in conclusion if you're in the market for a brand new Cadillac or a well-kept used Cadillac Prestige Cadillac located at 29900 Van Dyke, Warren, MI 48093 is the place to go. Really losing my patience with this dealership. Had my 07' DTS in for service. Took it in for a slipping transmission and a temperature gauge that was not working. Anyway, $4200 later ($1200 that came out of my pocket) I got my car back on a Thursday only to take it back Friday because the temperature gauge was not working again along with the engine light coming on. Monday they tell that the thermostat is bad and want me to pay for it. After a bunch of haggling I was told not to pay. I bought this car in Nov. 2015. Since then this car has had more than $9000 worth of work done to it. I bought the extended warranty for it but so much of the work was not covered. One of the things that went out were the headlights. They would wink and blink and go out with no warning. I had this problem from the first week I had the car. I told the dealer but they could not find anything wrong. Took it back a couple months later for the same thing and once again they told me they could not find anything. Then a couple of months later I was driving and notice I had no headlights. I then told Prestige that I could no longer drive this car because it was unsafe. All of the sudden they found the problem. Both headlight assemblies had to be replaced at a cost of $1200 apiece. They agreed to pay for one while I was told I would have to pay for the other. To this day this has not sat right with me for the simple reason they were notified of this problem right after I purchased this car. They had me driving a car that was "UNSAFE"!!! Many other things have been worked on or replaced since I have had this car. Headlights, radiator, transmission, water pump, engine oil leaks, struts, windshield washer pump, left drivers mirror, ( it was falling off), left fog light, front stabilizer link, tie rods, right side signal mirror have all been replaced or worked on. I feel that with all this work this car never should have left their sales lot. The work performed on this car has cost more than what I paid for it. Also the warranty is inferior for this car. Too much work was not covered. I have talked to their customer care person in their complaint department and she told me that she get back with me a week ago after she talked to her V.P. but I have yet to hear from her. I have left two voice messages but no response. My patience is running short. My next thing will be to sit in the show room until someone talks to me about a resolution to this matter.
