If there was a zero, I would use that! I go here out of convenience because it's 1 mile from my house, but it is the absolute worst service you will ever get from a Honda dealership. They have a constant turnover in their service department. They lack communication and the wait times are just ridiculous with nobody even checking in on you. And make note if you have any service that needs to be done and parts need to be ordered-You have to pre-pay for it.-the most ridiculous thing ever. This was the last straw for me. I warned my mom about coming here due to my experience in the past. She still went because it's close to home. I've never been denied service on a vehicle because the inside was dirty. My mom tried to clean it and then a fuse blew in our garage.. mind you the car would not turn on so she was unable to take it to the nearest car wash. Then the towing company came to pick it up. The manager called my mom being extremely rude saying they won't touch the car unless it's clean and telling her to pick it up. Called several times because I need my tires replaced, however, I should've just drove the extra miles to go to Parkway. When I called on the phone, they wouldn't give me any information regarding my tire package and said I needed to come in. They told me to come in before 4:30 to do so, which I did. However, when I got there Neal, gave me a hassle for not having an appointment and saying I called the wrong location and asked for the number I called to verify I called their location. Neal was very rude, spoke over me the whole time and was dismissive. All of that for him to give me a general recap of the Mopar tire package. He never looked up my information so I'm not sure why they had me to come in just to tell me what they couldn't do for me. Two incidents- 1. Took my 2010 Jeep Wrangler there for service on driver side window. They said it was motor to wi die- estimated price to repair -$849- parts and labor! I decided to go to Bucks in Mt Clemens- they repaired it for $189-come to find out it wasn't the motor at all- but a cable to window connector - riehl took door apart - never put it back together- and didn't quote me with accurate problem. Reign was rude once they knew I was going some place else. 2. I wanted to purchase a new 2021 jeep - found what I was looking for at reigns but it was in for service. I got pre-approved from my bank and once they knew that all effort to get me in my new jeep came to a very slow effort. I eventually started looking elsewhere after waiting 2 weeks. I drove to grand Blanc for the vehicle I wanted. The salesman at reihl was no help - the service Dept was disrespectful. Does "top notch service" mean not washing the vehicle you just sold your customer before they take it home as their own, blaming road construction dust "so we don't even bother" as the excuse? We had to take it through a car wash later that day ourselves. Does "top notch service" mean your staff doesn't do a thorough interior cleaning, to the point that we needed to do it ourselves, including fully vacuuming/wiping down the complete interior/door jams and even washing the floor mats ourselves, because the dealer car cleaning crew was said to just be some young teens who really don't care to do a decent job? We even had to remove a large obvious sticky area on the back seat that EASILY came off with a simple wipe of a soapy damp rag! Does "top notch service" mean you don't fill up the gas tank of the used car you just sold because your company just "doesn't do that anymore"? WOW. The car itself is great but that is to the manufacturer's credit, not the dealer, and I wasn't going to pass it up despite this poor customer service. I purchased a Chrysler Certified 2018 in August 2021, and purchased a diamond package warranty wit's Auto Defender in October 2021, and my trustworthy certified mechanic always did my repairs until he passed away. So in October of 2023, Jeep won't start, all power works just no start. I call my warranty company and they have it towed to Jim Friendly Service. Todd is the mechanic, diagnosing the issue as both batteries are defective and need replacing and the repair is not covered by the warrant. Cost is $700+ to fi, Okay. Well March 2024, I have the very same issue, my friend brought his tester over and verified that the batteries were perfectly fine. Call my warranty company, have it towed to Jim Friendly again, this time costing me $103 which was supposed to get reimbursed but hasn't happened yet. Todd is the mechanic notified me that it's a starter relay switch and again not covered by the warrant, repair will cost $400. Okay! Thursday July 18, same no start issue, power all works. Have it towed in again costing $136, Friday mornin, Todd leaves me a message "Yeah, good morning this is That's Jim reels We've got a black comp Your 2 0 18 Got keys I've got a early bird drop off envelope no information If you give me a call back at your earliest convenience, 5 8 6 9 8 8 3 4 3 0 9 is Direct line so we can What's going on with this vehicle and get it? I bought a certified used Cadillac xt4 in February. I received an email about servicing my car. I followed the link and scheduled an appt on the Jim Riehls Friendly cadillac website. There are two options for different service packages. I chose one of the packages and scheduled my appt. When I went there today, I spoke with Randy and he wrote down a few things that the car should have done according to the miles on the car. these services added up to well over $500.00. I told him I had scheduled a service package and he told me he never heard of that. I showed him on the website where i scheduled it and what it included. he continued to write down all the individual prices for the things that he suggested. He completely dismissed what i showed him and what services I scheduled. I then spoke to Jarrod the service manager and he told me had never heard of it either. I had to literally text the service manager what is available on the dealership website that he manages. He told me those prices were "not reality". so unprofessionally handled and they refused to provide the service prices that are offered on their website. We didn't have to haggle with him to get the prices at other dealerships beat and he had some great ideas for financing the cash due at signing into a Chrysler credit card with 0 percent interest until paid that we can pay at our convenience to lower our monthly payment. I purchased a used car from this company's on-site used car dealership in April 2019. I received a coupon for a free 27-point inspection, so we took the car in. It turns out, when we had purchased the car, things were "missed" on the previous inspection and there were leaking hoses and a broken rear differential. Luckily, they were covered under the warranty and we had purchased an additional warranty. However, at some point during them repairing these things, something else was broken. Now, whenever we accelerate, there is a very clear ticking noise from inside the engine. Somehow, no one there can hear it. I can hear it, my husband can hear it, and we are the ones who have to drive the car. It has been in the shop this week more than we've driven it, with very little communication other than "we don't hear what you hear so we can't really help you but we are going to throw parts at it." If I could go back in time, I never would have purchased this car. First, because of the absolutely ridiculous "customer service" and second because who in their right mind would buy a car if they had known it wasn't properly inspected and a car that makes a ticking noise whenever it's driven. Was told it was just to check parts and that it would be quick (30-45 minutes). 2 hours passed by and still no word from anyone working on my car. I called the service reps a couple times and that finally got me some answers. Apparently the wrong part was installed (a part installed by this dealership years ago) and that I would have to wait 20 more minutes to finish the job. I'm not upset about the work needing to be done but being left in the dark for hours on a job that was supposed to be a quarter of that, is a little frustrating. I bought a car on 2/23/22 thought it was a good reliable car, if you ask me where is this car now. This is a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe. and it is the Hyundai dealership and has been since 6/9/23. Because the engine ceased!!! I got all my oil changes on time and did not need any other maintenance. I filed a claim with Hyundai due to the recall/engine issues and they declined to replace my engine stating poor maintenance. So I reached out to the warranty company that Riehl's salesman suggested because I was within the warranty which cost me as well and they declined stating that they have it in the paperwork whereas they don't cover recalls and I was told by this Riehl suggested warranty company that Hyundai covers engines for a lifetime. I called the salesman only to kinda sorta offer to maybe get into another car but still will be stuck with the car note from the Santa fe. I feel like he sold me this vehicle, got his commission and don't give a care. It is very obvious!! Now I am stuck with a car note for a car the Jim Riehl dealership sold me that had a bad engine. They have no problem taking your money when you are purchasing a new vehicle, and will even bend over and kiss your @ss, but when it comes to their Service Dept customer service skills are no where to be found. The woman that checks you in is rude and acts like she can't be bothered. If you make an appointment, plan on waiting 1-1.5 hours before your car is even taken in. When asked why should I bother to make an appointment if I was not going to be servicedon time I received the reply, "Instead of being lazy why not call and make your appointment?"
