i've spent $500 in repairs after two weeks of buying this car! on october 12th, i purchased a used 2009 dodge journey from pristige cadillac and i've had more problems with it than i can keep track of. 4 days after i bought it, on october 16th, the battery died. I thought that maybe i had left the lights on or something, i was still unfamiliar with the car. i got it jump started and things seemed to be fine for a few days. later that week, the battery died again and i was two hours late to work. i took it to my mechanic and he said the battery was 6 years old and that he would replace it for me. problem solved (i hoped). now, a few days after replacing the battery, the car is still having problems starting and i will have to replace the starter as well. on top of that, i couldn't pump more than 2 or 3 gallons of gas into my car at a time. this was due to a faulty fuel pressure sensor, which would tell the gas pump that my tank was full when it wasn't. I've also had an issue with the wiper fluid. they sold it to me with no wiper fluid in it so i bought some and filled it up myself, but it still won't work. finally, they sold it to me with 3 of the 4 brake lights out. i've been at the mechanic more in the past two weeks than i have in the past 2 years with my. all added up i've spent almost 500 on this car and i've had it for 2 weeks. i'm completely livid!! nobody at the dealership will take responsibility for selling me such a piece of shit. DONT BUY FROM THEM!!!! you will get ripped off and stuck with a car that barely functions. read more

Brent Diggs Sr. I am a Cadillac man. I have loved Cadillacs since I was a kid. My grandfather owned a 1959, 1961, 1968, 1970, and 1980 all Cadillacs. I currently own three Cadillacs 1968, 1979, and 2013 XTS Cadillac. Early 2017, I began looking for a newer Cadillac as a graduation present for me, because in May I was graduating with my MBA, and at the time I owned a 2007 DTS Silver Cadillac which was part of my fleet. I found Prestige Cadillac and seen the Caddy I was interested in buying. Made contact with one salesman, but a week later he retired. I called back to again, and salesman Mr. Henry Flakes took answered. Mr. Flakes was very courteous. We talked and set a time for me to come and test- drive the new Caddy. When I arrived, it felt like at Prestige Cadillac I felt like I was in Haven, New Cadillacs everywhere. This wasn't my first time at a Cadillac dealership, but I knew this was the place for me. The exterior of Prestige Cadillac was charming, and the interior was immaculate. It was a sunny day, and Mr. Flakes met me outside when I arrived. I have to admit and give credit when it due, Mr. Flakes is a top-notch salesman. Mr. Flakes my cousin and I all went to his office where he offered us snacks and drinks. Prestige salesforce was polite, everyone spoke with a smile and asked if I needed help with anything. Mr. Flakes and I got down to business. While handling business we discussed life, school friends, work, and family. I know consider Henry as a friend and part of my family. Everything was approved by the finance company; however, we still had minor details to work out at Prestige. Mr. Flake's road 60 miles with me to finalize my deal that same day, I never experienced such salesmanship in my life. I noticed a few things during our road trip my glove box wouldn't open, right headlight out, a noise coming from the left front of my car, and air coming through the sunroof. Finalized my deal drove 60 miles back to Prestige Cadillac at their expense, and Mr. Flakes spoke with his manager, he returned to my Sapphire Blue 2013 XTS Caddy and handed me we owe you a receipt for the things I previously mentioned wrong with my car. By the way, my Cadillac is exceptionally nice, pretty, and sexy. Also, I looked at many different dealerships, and Prestige Cadillac beat their price hands down. I have bought many cars, but never have I done a deal all in one day. When Henry, my cousin and I made it back to Prestige it was 8:30 p.m. and they were closing. However, the manager knew we were coming back, so he waited. Mr. Flakes and Prestige Cadillac told me to call when my schedule permitted to have those things taken care of at no cost to me. What happened next blew my mind, and what's sets Prestige Cadillac from all other Cadillac dealerships period. This is going above and past beyond for your customers. There was a problem with the finance company. Prestige Cadillac rewrote my contract, no changes and Henry drove 60 additional miles to my house for me to finalize and sign the contract. Mr. Flakes did this twice. This is unheard of in the auto dealership industry. Also, this is something I have never experienced in my life even with car dealerships that are 10 miles from me. So in conclusion if you're in the market for a brand new Cadillac or a well-kept used Cadillac Prestige Cadillac located at 29900 Van Dyke, Warren, MI 48093 is the place to go. Really losing my patience with this dealership. Had my 07' DTS in for service. Took it in for a slipping transmission and a temperature gauge that was not working. Anyway, $4200 later ($1200 that came out of my pocket) I got my car back on a Thursday only to take it back Friday because the temperature gauge was not working again along with the engine light coming on. Monday they tell that the thermostat is bad and want me to pay for it. After a bunch of haggling I was told not to pay. I bought this car in Nov. 2015. Since then this car has had more than $9000 worth of work done to it. I bought the extended warranty for it but so much of the work was not covered. One of the things that went out were the headlights. They would wink and blink and go out with no warning. I had this problem from the first week I had the car. I told the dealer but they could not find anything wrong. Took it back a couple months later for the same thing and once again they told me they could not find anything. Then a couple of months later I was driving and notice I had no headlights. I then told Prestige that I could no longer drive this car because it was unsafe. All of the sudden they found the problem. Both headlight assemblies had to be replaced at a cost of $1200 apiece. They agreed to pay for one while I was told I would have to pay for the other. To this day this has not sat right with me for the simple reason they were notified of this problem right after I purchased this car. They had me driving a car that was "UNSAFE"!!! Many other things have been worked on or replaced since I have had this car. Headlights, radiator, transmission, water pump, engine oil leaks, struts, windshield washer pump, left drivers mirror, ( it was falling off), left fog light, front stabilizer link, tie rods, right side signal mirror have all been replaced or worked on. I feel that with all this work this car never should have left their sales lot. The work performed on this car has cost more than what I paid for it. Also the warranty is inferior for this car. Too much work was not covered. I have talked to their customer care person in their complaint department and she told me that she get back with me a week ago after she talked to her V.P. but I have yet to hear from her. I have left two voice messages but no response. My patience is running short. My next thing will be to sit in the show room until someone talks to me about a resolution to this matter. If anyone was thinking of buying a car or getting one serviced at Prestige run as fast as you can to another dealer. read more

First, I mixed up my appointment date. I thought I was supposed to come in on November 1, 2016 at 9:00 and my actual appointment was on November 2, 2016. When I showed up on the 1st, I was greeted and taken care of right away. The mix-up was not a problem. This is why I consistently have great reviews for this dealership, they will go above and beyond to make the customer totally satisfied, and believe me I was blown away. read more

Actually this place deserves ZERO stars! Third rate customer service, incompetent skills, greedy agents. 1. Took my cadillac car for oil change and regular maintenance. They did not top up other fluids as expected under premium service conditions. 2. Next time I took my car, as it was under warrenty, to find out why the front wheel was making noise. They charged me over $100 and gave absolutely no clear feedback and were evasive and unsupportive but keen on getting their money. When I went to pay up the service agent was clumsy and kept me waiting for 15 minutes. He took my money but fumbled with the receipt. I left telling him to email it to me. He did not email the receipt. I had to remind him after a few days, only then did he email it. This visit was a complete waste of my time and money. I then took my car to the nearest Goodyear auto service center located next doors. They inspected the car thouroughly and told me exactly what was wrong. And they did not charge me anything for this analysis. They gave me an estimate of what needed to be repaired and how much it would cost me. They were very helpful, supportive and competent unlike the guy at Prestige Cadillac. I will never visit Prestige Cadillac again. Hell, even their waiting room is dingy with empty coffee pots. If you want to repair or fix anything visit Goodyear, firestone, or midas service centers in warren, they are far better than this dealer. read more

I am highly disappointed in the service I received from Prestige Cadillac today in Warren Michigan. Aisha Harris in the service department was very rude, arrogant and argumentative for no reason. I simply called to ask a general question about a tire service warranty to gain an understanding of how it works, because yesterday she advised my dad when he took my car in that the warranty company denied my claim tire claim. So we all know Michigan roads are terrible right now and yes I hit a pot hole and have a visible bubble in my tire. Per my understanding and my road hazard warranty the claimed should have been covered. So yes, I reached out to my warranty provider to gain clarity and they told me that there was never a claim submitted on my behalf. Ok... Ok... Ok... I'm confused. So I made a called to Prestige service department today (being very polite because I really needed to know how to proceed). When I voiced my concerned she was very combative off the top and made smart /sarcastic remarks. Is this how "Prestige" Cadillac treat their customers? This was my very first encounter with Prestige Cadillac and I only came here because I personally wanted to support a Black Owned Business so it's unfortunate that I could not. She did not even have the audacity to even apologize. I spoke with Pete the Service Manager he stated that Prestige Cadillac is understaffed and he can't get people to return his calls for second interviews (irrelevant) . He stated that the Service advisers have been busy and probably frustrated. Now I am a firm believer in customer service and at the end of the day it's Aisha Harris JOB to provide "prestigious" and good quality service. It's what she is PAID to do. Please correct me if I'm wrong Prestige Cadillac because what I got from the conversation with Pete the Service manager was an excuse for Aisha Harris unacceptable actions and behavior. I was pretty much told from your Management that when I spoke with her at 8:38 A.M. (only 8 minutes after opening time) I was treated badly because she was frustrated and you guys are understaffed. read more

First time visit to Prestige Cadillac with my ESV for a routine oil change and tire rotation. After I left the dealership, my tire pressure monitor warning went off indicating a low rear tire. I was aware that the tire was low when I brought the vehicle in. I pulled over and noticed that the tires were never rotated. I confirmed the pressures with my Onstar app and they were the same as when I pulled into the dealership earlier. I immediately brought the vehicle back and the service advisor insisted more than once that the tires were rotated and that the technician's gauge was "off". He told me that they would rotate the tires for me AGAIN. The advisor pulled the car into the bay and said you are all set to go and the tire pressures are at 32 psi. I informed the advisor that the ESV pressures are 35 psi. He checked the information inside the car door and told me I was correct. Once again, he drove the car away to have he tires properly inflated. The oil change and tire rotations took approximately 2 1/2 hours. Then to top it off, one of the front chrome center caps came off and was lost when driving. I was absolutely disappointed in the service that I received and in the manner I was treated. read more
