Price of a face cord of mixed wood went up from 120 $ to 140 $ . It doesn't seem to be seasoned to me . Freshly cut and flying off the racks . I guess that's why the price is going up , supply and demand ? It is it COVID19 ? Or is there a lumber shortage ? Closed Monday & Tuesday. But open Sunday. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Although they sell masks, neither staff nor customers. When I asked I was told it was "personal choice." I'm pretty sure that's not part of the state mandate. if the staff was wearing masks, I'm pretty sure more of the customers would as well. read more

While there are many cute items offered by talented vendors at the shop, the employees at the shop have no regarded for their customers' health. I stopped in there recently and out of the 6 employees in the store, only 1 had a mask on. The other employees didn't have a mask in sight. The unmasked employees were walking around freely around the store and in close contact with customers. It's disappointing that by not wearing a mask, they are making a statement that they do not care about the health of their customers or vendors. I will not be shopping here again. read more

I love going to locations like this, specifically to support local businesses. Unfortunately I can no longer support a location that doesn't adhere to social distancing or enforce mask wearing by employees and customers. The first time I went and saw an employee without a mask. She called me over to check out, but I told her I would wait for someone who was wearing a mask. The second time (and unfortunately last) they were helping a lady (and her older kid!) who were not wearing masks. Not only did they not comment about the lack of mask, but were chit chatting with her , prolonging her checkout. I do hope there are other ways I can support the vendors, as it's not their fault the location is not following state rules :( read more

I hosted my baby shower at Prestige Creative Markets and Nursery and it was AMAZING! The space was top notch and had a rustic feel. The owners were so sweet, helpful and very accommodating. There was even a unique store attached where guests could shop. Many of my guests were so impressed and wanted to host their own parties there! I know I will definitely be hosting more events there in the near future. The ambiance was so cozy and welcoming- this place is truly a hidden gem. Would highly recommend! read more

What a great treasure for the Chicagoland area! (Note: the Barn has been under new ownership for a year and a half, so older reviews no longer apply). Prestige Creative Markets & Nursery is a HUGE turn-of-the-century barn that has been converted into specialty spaces with almost 95 different retailers. You can find Antiques, Home Decor, crafts, nostalgic candies, Handcrafted Barnwood & Live-edge furniture, painted furniture, specialty paint for your own projects (with a vendor to give you all the info you need to tackle the job), local art pieces, clothing, and garden decor. I love the purses crafted from vintage military fabrics with proceeds going to help support veterans. Seasonally, they do a great job at having plants, flowers, pumpkins, garden decor, seasonal vegetables, & an ample supply of dried firewood. I was there recently and saw the BEST Santa and Mrs. Claus for the kids. Because of Covid19, they had to eliminate the breakfast with Santa, but you can schedule an appointment to talk to the Big Guy -- like a private 1 on 1 with Santa himself in this large, open, and beautifully decorated space just for your family. You DO need to have a mask on while talking with him but can remove it briefly for a photo. No long lines! In addition to the hand sanitizer, clear panels at the registers, and 6 feet social distancing requests already in place from the beginning of the pandemic, even more steps have been taken to ensure the safety of their customers and employees. Several vendors sell cute masks, too. I love this place. It's always changing and never the same place twice! No long road-trip out of town for some unique shopping & fun. read more

I can't believe that I even went back there a second time. The only reason why I did after bad customer service the first time, was because I wanted to pick something up from a certain booth that I saw the first time. I didn't want to penalize the person who had the booth just for the bad service I received, however, it happened again so I felt compelled to warn other people about shopping at this place. I even asked to speak with the owner who was on site, I think her name was Janay or something, and the person who was rude said shes busy, so you can catch her another time. Unbelievable, I put back what I was going to buy and left after waiting thirty minutes for this Janay person. read more

My first visit to the store- no air conditioning so very hot. Employees standing around blocking spaces and talking loudly. Went to check out and was told two of my items had to be paid by check or cash only. What?! So certain vendors don't accept credit cards(its a 3% charge to the vendor)? Bizarre!! It should be a store policy that all items can be paid for with a credit card. They lost a sale AND a customer over 23 cents!! read more

I love the top quality selections, the friendly vendors, and laid back atmosphere at Prestige. In this day and age of state enforced collapsing of small businesses, it's nice to be able to support these vendors. There's plenty of space to social distance from people who don't share my political views, but I digress; I don't believe Yelp is meant to be a political platform. If I could give them zero stars I would. 75% of the bushes they planted died in the same season and we are still waiting for Prestige to come back and replace them. They told us in the fall they would be out in the spring and again in the spring they would be out by June. We are still waiting. They have promised to come out several times and never show up. This was an expensive project that resulted in 75% of the bushes and shrubs being dead and a mulch bed weeded over in 2 weeks. (horrible quality of work). Even the stone work is poor.The 25% of the bushes that made it are small and poor quality. read more

Needed a lot of topsoil to fix an area next to my garage. Looked around online to find areas local to WeGo that HAD top soil in bulk (that I could pull up my trailer and have it dumped in), and who was open on Saturday. Found Prestige Nursery up on Army Trail Rd. and went to their website. Directly from their website; Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm No mention of seasonal hours, no mention of "hey, all except this Saturday...", etc... So on Saturday, March 19th, 2016, I dug my trailer out of storage, got everything hooked up to my truck, drove out to Prestige. This is now around noon - 1pm'ish... AND THEY WERE FREAKING CLOSED!!! So yea, they won't be getting my business. read more

Prestige Creative Markets in Bartlett is such a refreshing change to enjoyable shopping. Just browsing through this amazing place, takes you back to fun times and now a Glorious Christmas experience. The staff are friendly and most accommodating. If you go there, be prepared to browse for a while because there is so much to see, if felt like I was in Long Grove again. I can't wait to go back and spend time to shop every booth. This will be one of my Happy Places in these times of indifference. Cancelled my planned visit to Prestige today after viewing their website and Facebook page - I don't understand why they maintain "+ Nursery" in their name. I was unable to locate any listing/information of Nursery items (trees, bushes, mulch, decorative crushed rock, etc.) except for a passing-view of a small farm-wagon of (annual?) flowers in a video. read more

In October of 2010 we hired them to remove the lava rock from around the foundation of our home, install some topsoil and put down grass seed. The seed germinated well but the grass was very patchy and for the next year I thought it would just take time to establish itself. Meanwhile a lot of unpleasant events occurred which made the lawn seem unimportant. In the summer of 2012 I bought a rototiller and tried to loosen up the soil along part of the foundation to plant a flower garden. I discovered that a huge amount of lava rock was still present under the thin layer of topsoil. I removed over three large trash cans from an approximately 6 by 12 foot area, and there was a lot more there that I just left in place. Also, the clear plastic liner under the rock was still there in the section I dug up. While we did ask them to remove the plastic at the time of estimate, that was not specifically stated on the contract. That would explain why the grass won't take very well. The weeds that came with their topsoil are flourishing, though. If Prestige did in fact remove all of the lava rock as contracted they would have cleared the area down to the plastic liner. Who in their right mind puts a couple of inches of soil on plastic and plants seed? This means they either didn't remove the rock very well (which my garden proves) or they did find the plastic but didn't ask us if we wanted to remove it, and just planted grass on top. Either way, very bad service and I feel like I threw away the nearly $1000 spent on this project. Do not use Prestige unless you plan on watching them to see if they really intend on doing the work you contract them to do. read more

I had to deduct one star because a gentleman seemed to be worried I might walk off with an item from the second floor, maybe they need more cameras? Tried to purchase on gift card issued by Prestige Nursery, just one week back. Acceptance of the card was denied stating Prestige is under new ownership. So new owner apparently do not want the business. I am left holding a $160.00 gift card (now just a piece of plastic) with no value. What a scam is this? Called company called Valutec since it says powered by Valutec. No answer, held phone for 37 minutes with no one to help. In my opinion both Prestige and Valutec are scammers.. I rarely leave negative reviews but I told the people behind the counter that our experience was so bad that I was going to leave a bad review and we got a laugh and an "ok" so here I go, following through on my promise. My husband and I were shopping with our 1 year old for over an hour and the other customers were so nice and kind and smiled at our cute little guy. We decided to purchase two vintage lamps, a card catalog, a vintage Dr Pepper sign, and a vintage little people village with cars. We let our 1 year old try it out and he fell in love with it. As we were getting ready to leave, two employees came upstairs, started to bad mouth my one year old as if I wasn't standing there with him while he played with the set. They said he "tore the place apart". When I told them we were going to buy it they said "ok" and shrugged their shoulders without an apology. So we walked downstairs and told them we weren't going to be buying anything because of what happened and the gentleman behind the counter just laughed. He said he didn't know both sides of the story so I told him to ask the woman behind him (who was one of the women) and she confirmed that what I said was exactly what happened and apologized. This is my 5th child and not my first rodeo, we are furnishing our new house and he's a regular at Vintage Market, Whats your Consignment, and Warehouse 55 and we never received ONE negative comment about his behavior or our supervision of him. Although one of the women apologized, the way the gentleman laughed was so insulting and they lost customers forever. I'm honestly not sure if it's because I'm Mexican and my son is mixed race but I would not recommend that anyone support a business like this. So if you have booths upstairs with a card catalog and a Dr Pepper sign and a vintage little people village and a vintage desk lamp and a booth downstairs with vintage desk lamps the those women and the gentleman owner owe you some money because we were going to buy them from your booths. I've purchased a tree, several bushes and dozens of other plants over the years. Also purchased gifts from their gift shop during Christmas (a decorative bird house and snowmen salt & pepper shakers). Nice selection no matter the season though. Just recently I called and spoke to a employee with some questions regarding bushes purchased last fall. He was helpful and courteous and not trying to rush me off the phone. Every time I go in I'm greeted, helped and treated with great respect. Prices are very reasonable overall, especially in the September when most things go on sale for half price. Selection of annuals & perennial plants is limited, but bush and tree selection are awesome. Their selection of statuary, fountains, garden décor, pavers, firewood, etc... is also quite large. read more

Buyer be ware. You think you are contracting with professional landscaping service only to find out otherwise. We Purchased three trees last year and had them planted by Prestige. All the trees are in a row and two of the trees are of the same verity. One of the tress died just a few months over a year. I was told this tree had to much sun and dried out even though the other tress are right next to each other and are doing fine? When they planted them no one suggested another location? The other trees I am now being told is to close to other tress and should be moved. I am sure Prestige would love to do this work even though they planted the tree in that location just over a year ago. Do your homework and in the end maybe it is better to purchase landscaping at home improvement stores for half the cost. They also guarantee landscaping for one year. So you get nothing special from going to a Nursery. read more

Purchased beautiful tree there last year, and paid for installation. The planting crew threw it off the truck, beat it up pretty bad during planting and tree has gone downhill ever since. Manager was supposed to credit me for installation fee since they really messed up, but that didn't show up. Trying to reach someone now, just over a year from installations and no surprise they don't answer their phone. Go elsewhere! I'm really upset to have wasted my $500. Heard they're under new management but doesn't sound like they know how to run a business either if they don't treat previous customers right. No one even answers phone! read more
