Our experience with Emphasis Construction has been our best experience by far. They did an excellent job gut renovating our bathroom and one of our guest bedrooms, as well as numerous aesthetic touch-ups/refreshes throughout the rest of the house. There are several key factors which we found distinguished this company from the others: 1) RESPONSIVENESS. When we had a question about the project - whether it be phasing the construction - we decided to live through the renovation - or modifications to the design plan, we always got a response same-day. 2) CONSISTENCY/PROFESSIONALISM The team didn't drop off and disappear for weeks and they made consistent progress throughout the duration of the job. I never imagined that this would ever be a problem, but our experience with past contractors proved us very wrong. 3) WORKMANSHIP. We were really pleased with how everything turned out. I mean, check out our bathroom (pics attached)! Price-wise, the company's quote was in the middle of the range of bids (we got 4), but we ultimately really didn't mind paying slightly more than the lowest price in exchange for the quality and professionalism we received.
