I used the Yelp quote system and got a response within a few hours from Melvin. He was great with communication through Yelp messaging as we had a reschedule a few times due to weather. He came to my house and was a bit late the day we had scheduled, but let me know in advance and it was not a big deal. I offered my hose and was impressed that all of the equipment they need is in their van. They did not need anything from me and could have done the job in the middle of the desert. Melvin and his crew (Demarcus and JJ) were efficient, thorough, and friendly. They finished in about 45 minutes and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. I requested a quote for a detail of my car and got a response from Melvin in the same day. My car was pretty clean but I did need the interior vacuumed, a good wash, and a wax. My main concern was getting all the yellow pollen dots off my white exterior. Melvin and his uncle, Rezette, showed up the next day not just on time but early! (They did text to ask me if that was ok.) They got my car detailed in about 45 mins and they did an awesome job. My car was sparkly, nicely waxed and the interior smelled great. I had forgotten to ask them to vacuum the beach sand out of my trunk and only remembered when they had finished the detail and were showing me what they had done. They had no problem doing that for me after the fact. Be aware that they won't open your trunk and clean the interior unless you ask them to. It protects you and them so I understand this. This review is long overdue! We had our QX80 detailed in September by Rez and his nephew (I believe) and they did a fantastic job! It was in bad shape, aside from the layer of dirt and caked on pollen from a few months back, dog slobber on the outside dripping down and smeared on the inside window, every crumble of snack you could imagine from all of the to and fro of the summer and previous vacations-oh and leftover beach sand, and a side mirror that had recently been duct taped on the passenger side from a collision with a mailbox in which we were awaiting a part. We also had some minor scratches, but nothing I had planned on being remedied from a detail job. Well I wish I would have taken pictures to share with you all, but it was even more than I expected. The polish he put on the outside remedied just about all of my scratches-mainly due to untrimmed bushes coming out of the garage, and minor door dings from others here and there. Everything looked shiny and brand new, except for my stupid side mirror, but that was just temporary! And whatever he used on the outside kept our car looking like it had just been washed and polished for I want to say over a month! We park in the garage every day when we are home. So that is helpful, but still! Thanks guys! Look forward to using you again! December someone hit me and that car was totaled. Got a new one at the end of January and then Coronavirus hit and no need for a detail yet really. But one will be needed very soon! read more
