As many have mentioned, the prices are exorbitant. The photographer was horrible. Didn't let anyone near where they took the photos, which ended with his hair looking awful. These are for senior pictures!!! Anyway, I decided not to purchase any photos, because they were so expensive. This was back in 2021. Today, I went to see if I could buy them; maybe they were less expensive than they were. Well, guess what? They didn't come up. I contacted customer service and they delete all the photos, except the ones you purchase, after 24 months. So, I'm SOL. The customer service rep was nice, which is why they get a one star. Had my daughters senior portraits done at the location in Bensalem, PA. The proofs that came did not look like the ones shown in the studio. Then whatever editing they did made it worse. None of the photos are order worthy. Called to reschedule, never heard back. Awful yearbook photo. A lot of effort and money goes into getting kids ready for these and for not one photo to be good was appalling. Especially when your kid is otherwise very photogenic. This is the worst and most expensive service ever. You feel like you are held hostage to their prices. They lure you in with "promo codes and offers" all of which are not true. The photographers that take the photos are awful, they do not care whether the child's clothing is not set correctly or if they are out of frame. I can't begin to tell you the problems, from booking the sitting which they ( the system) kept changing the day and times, NO explanation for that. My deluxe order is 18-24 poses. I had half the poses they may consider the same pose just a black-and-white image a different picture ( 17 pictures total with 9 poses). 3 backgrounds and the deluxe should be 4-6 backgrounds. of course they offered me another session. My daughter said no after getting her hair done and waking up early to prepare makeup she is not going through another sitting. They are investigating to see if there are missing pictures that were not uploaded. My sons in the years past were amazing pictures and my daughter will end up with a big disappointment with no photo options. read more

I contact support who informs me they are behind loading the images. So why send an email that the images are ready if they are not actually ready? This company is a joke. This monopoly has become unreasonably expensive. I mean that. I just wanted a nice 8x10 simple print right? First the pictures themselves were not great but i'll deal with it and cannot get new shots since this was at school. Any photographer out can easily compete with these unsane prices. Did not want to connect me to a supervisor until I told them I would wait as long as I needed to. This is really a terrible service. I ordered grad photos in the package that came with digital proofs. Packages only offers digital proofs on a CD, which no one uses anymore. So I tried calling to ask if I could get a USB or perhaps download the proofs from somewhere so I can send digital copies to friends and family outside of the country. First of all, the "support" line was nearly impossible to get through. Automated "options" in an endless loop that led nowhere. When I finally managed to speak to a human, I asked if they could perhaps send the photos or make them available to download, or send a USB - and the only answer was that "this is not something we offer". While they did admit that they know no one uses CDs anymore, they were not willing to provide more up to date alternatives or even help. After all my complaints, Lifetouch actually did manage to send me a USB with digital photos to easily access. Thank you! I wish it weren't necessary to complain to that extent to get what you need, but I really do appreciate that they made it happen! The photos looked great, so I'm good now, thank you! read more

I had to pick a star to leave this review, but they are not even worth one star. Incredibly overpriced and when I received the framed pics I ordered, the frame was in bad condition. I could find a better frame at the dollar store. When I reached out to customer service Chat, I was told I had to call the sales department. When I called the sales department they were closed. Just because I have to leave a star. Worst experience dealing with customer service. I could not understand any of the reps. They transferred me to Canada, they have to transfer me back. My credit card would not go though neither did my husband's ( we pay them off every month) the rep said it was a problem on my end. My son's senior portraits are horrible. He did the retake and they were worse. Grey suite jacket with black tie. Photographer did not have any cap and gown or tux. For all of you folks out there who get a notification stating it is time for Senior Pictures, don't feel pressured to use this company even if your school is being sponsored by them. Go to Walmart or any other local photography business. This place is an absolute rip off. I lost 40 bucks on the sitting fee but I can live with that. To just get the proofs they charge you 399.00. That's right. And hey for 169.00 you can get ONE PHOTO...that's right. One picture for the low price of 169.00. If you wait you may be able to get 10% off and save yourself 20 bucks but then you will have to pay 13.00 for shipping. Absolutely the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. For what the charge you could have a photographer come to your home and do a photo shoot with pictures included. Most of the photographers that were shooting the day of my daughter's appointment were not professional photographers and there was one backdrop? How does this make for a valuable experience. Why would this company not make it affordable for people to actually do business with them. Honestly, who on Earth can afford to spend over 400.00 for pictures. Not even worth one star. Having worked as a photographer in the past, I cannot believe any company can be this incompetent. My daughter had her senior photos taken at the end of August. We should have know something was up when the photographer wouldn't let her see the images. The proofs were supposed to be available in 2-3 weeks. Nothing. We've called customer service multiple times and each time they push out the date we might expect to see them. Upon hearing all my daughter's friends already received their proofs, the last guy "put in a ticket" -- I'm sure that's useless. We called the school who gave us a number with a specific extension. When we called, that extension did not exist. We paid a sitting fee and so far have received absolutely nothing. They have a "retake" session in October. We'll probably have to pay another sitting fee even though we receiving nothing for the first one. And of course, we had my daughter's hair done, etc. for the first sitting. These people should not even be allowed in a school building. read more

We just looked over my sons Senior Proofs which were mediocre quality at best. I know he doesn't want to take them again, so we sat and chose one pose to share with family and one for the yearbook. However, when I went to the packages, I was so disappointed that I could not find a package under 200 dollars!!! Isn't this the same company (Lifetouch) that I have been buying 30 and 40 dollar packages from since Kindergarten? What happened????? I wanted to find a package that didn't have wallets but no luck. Prestige Portraits has awful customer reviews online. Their hours are 8:00-5:00 EST 1)March 2-I called. The phone rep said she would send me a hardcopy of the proof and fix the technical issue in 3-5 business days. She said she could not see the pictures on her end either. I said that I needed the senior pictures by March 6 for my son's senior ad. She said she would mark the ticket urgent. 2)March 10-They said they did not have a record of my previous call. They would send me a copy of my proof and fix the technical issue. A supervisor would call me the next day. 3)March 11-A supervisor never called me. The phone rep said they would issue a ticket for a technical issue. I was on this call for 50 mins. The rep asked me multiple times for basic info. like my email address, address, phone number etc. I even had to describe DJ in the senior pictures. The phone rep put me on hold for a long time searching for the number of Prestige Portraits in Anaheim. I told him that we took the pictures with Prestige Portraits at Fountain Valley High School. He told me that I am suppose to call the school if I took pictures at the school. 4)March 12-I contacted Prestige Portraits online chat. The rep was Bhuvanesh. I was told that session details do not match with student ID so I would not be assisted further. The rep said that I would receive a call within 24-48 hrs. 5)March 20-Talked to Trevor. Trevor told me he could take my order over the phone. I told him that I could not do that because I could not see the images online. I also have not received a proof sheet. He followed up on the technical issue ticket. He said that one issue people have been having is that if they have an older child that took senior pictures, those pictures have to be taken out before I can see the pictures of my younger child. This does not apply to me. DJ is the older child. 6)March 23-Talked to Brian. He said he's sorry that I have had to contact Prestige Portraits so many times. He will take care of the problem today. The phone call took 38 mins. I was put on hold a lot so he could talk to his support team. He apologized many times for putting me on hold and said it usually does not take this long. My high school does their senior portraits through this company, and I cannot express how much I wish they didn't. First, I was given an appointment time that was mailed to me. I made an account their website with the code I was given, hoping I could reschedule my appointment. Their website is the most un-user friendly website I have ever seen. There was barely any information present, and it only showed me a calendar with 2 different dates available, one that was all booked in the present month and another a month ahead. I could not reschedule my portrait online so I called the place. I asked to book an appointment in July and they told me I could only book one in June. They told me if I wanted a July appointment I would have to call back in July. When I asked why I couldn't schedule a July appointment in June instead, the woman HUNG UP on me. This place has awful customer service and I know many other students have had bad experiences with them. read more

The photos were terrible. I bought all the expensive packages up until I saw the photos. There discounts are a joke. I saved 15% when a month later is 50% off. Next year, I will only use them for the yearbook senior portrait. I recommend you take your own photos somewhere nice outside or hire a independent photographer. Prestige Portraits sends emails looking like it comes from the High School trying to create a false sense of urgency when photos aren't due until April. Not only was the session we paid for short of what Prestige Portraits advertised but it looks like a blemish was added to the photos so we would have to pay additional fees to have it corrected. $600 for 6 photos or the least expensive option is $169 for 1 pose of 24 wallets, two 5×7 and four 4×5 Better off quality and fee wise paying for a professional photographer to take photos. My college did senior portraits through prestige and it was awful. The prices are ridiculously expensive. Their website says business hours include Saturday from 9am-8pm ET but when I called during this range, I was told it was not business hours by an answering machine. The marketing strategy is absolutely horrendous - they send a ridiculous amount of emails and rely on threats like "your pictures will be deleted if you don't buy now" when really they won't be deleted for months. This is a slimy and sketchy company who overprices their portraits. I bought the smallest thing possible (4-4x5 portraits for $70 which was ridiculous) because I wanted graduation portraits but overall I am dissatisfied with 1) price 2) customer service 3) marketing strategy and 4) ridiculous emails (I got ~1 per day, always threatening to delete your portraits). They took ~20 pictures of me but only gave me 5 to choose from when it came down to ordering. My hair in the portraits was so bad, it had poofed out on the sides, but the photographer didn't tell me. He also did not give me time to look at the portraits and approve them before walking out of the session. They often send emails with deals like 10% off, but when you go to choose your package you later find out that you have to pay $200 minimum or something to get 10%. The package options were awful (they include WAY too many photos and are overpriced - there should be smaller packages and they should be more customizable) If you are a school, DO NOT hire this company. They rip off your students. Even if they are cheaper for the administration than a competitor photographer, don't put your students through this. read more

First before I even seen the outrages prices I seen the proofs of my son which were 4 poses and they were terrible. I'm not a photographer but I know crap when I see it. The pictures look like they were taken by a cellphone. Then I see the price and it's $169+. For 1 pose and a few pictures. But you can upgrade to $400+ for a couple more pictures. If your child's high school picks Prestige for senior portraits, see if you can use another photographer! Really. Sears, JC Penny's. Anyone else. $200-500 for senior pictures? Sometimes if you pay more, you get a deluxe experience. Not so with Prestige. The name is like a joke. They take your kid's photo and then they send you dozens of great photos stenciled over with their cheesy logo. Their website is amateurish and hard to use. Their invoicing is even poorly done. So they send you a dozen or more photos of your kid. You pick out your favorites. You go online to order them and see that the prices range from about 200-about 500. The cheaper packages (at 200-) are one pose only or pay a 19- fee to use another pose. Horribly overpriced. What's worse is what looks like racism on their website. All the very expensive packages are shown with white girls. The cheapest package shows the only black male student depicted. Hmmm. I'm white and that struck me as racist. Poor families of any race are not served well by a photography service whose cheapest package is 200-. Their website is amateurish and the photos were okay. Nothing special. Because of a family emergency I didn't have the wherewithal to go to another photographer so I ended up with a handful of small photos for 200-. If your school allows you to use another photographer, do so. This is a HUGE ripoff. read more

I placed an order for son's announcement. They got my order and after 2 weeks they sent an email saying that it could take 6 weeks to complete our order. I keep trying to reach but phones are not answering and when I placed a call back, they called me back at 10:43 pm! I think this id very irresposible to ignore customers like that. If they were closed due to Covid 19. they should have stopped taking orders or let people know that the orders would be sent in mid-July. This is ridiculous. read more
