I'd give this hotel a 2.5. Blue Bay Inn was a beautiful hotel with clean rooms and located in a…read morenice part of town within walking distance of the water. We stayed in the king suite which was decently spacious. The hotel overall was cute but I wouldn't say it was as antique as it advertised. Having said all that we were disappointed with the price which was $200+ per night for a cool weekend in early October (i.e. not the busy summer season). The tv in the room was finicky and was pretty old. The available tv channels were so-so. There wasn't any breakfast served in the morning unless you wanted to pay at the restaurant down stairs. The wifi was impressively slow. The bathroom looked like every other hotel bathroom I've ever seen. Their phones were down the entire weekend so we had to walk downstairs if we needed to talk to somebody. They did serve coffee in the morning but it was the basic Keurig coffee. Again we liked the hotel, but after some discussion we thought 100-150 per night would have been more reasonable.

The room was very clean, had a very comfortable bed, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room had a very clean bathroom, supplied with shampoo, conditioner, soap and all the towels you need. My room included a desk, tv in the armoise with three large drawers for clothes. In the closet, there was an extra blanket, iron and iron table and suitcase holder. I enjoyed the free water, apples, tea and coffee in the lobby. Room service was terrific and the lobby manager called me once because I set a do-not-disturb and asked if I still wanted room service. The staff throughout the entire week greeted me and were very friendly. I am looking forward to visiting Atlantic Highlands, NJ again and to stay here.

He goes ABOVE AND BEYOND what he needs to do. He plans the air, airline seats, last minute changes, cruise arrangements around Norway and Amsterdam. He then arranged for us to take a transfer to the Thalys (train) to Paris. We did the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre tours as well as sight seeing. On top of that he arranged the transportation to Disney Euro in Paris where we stayed another 4 days and obtained park passes which he managed as well. I can't say enough on how personal and professional Dave is - please use him as you wont have to research anything or arrange as he is a one-stop shopping. We will use again and again and again. We picked up OurBus right across from the Javits Center, in the middle of the street…read more The storage bins were labeled, one for Baltimore, the other for DC. He scanned our ticket and we boarded. The bus was pretty full, so we ended up sitting separately. The above head storage bins are kind of tight, so I had to take something out of my over stuffed backpack to manage to wiggle it in. While my purse sat on my lap. I liked the foot rest and the hook on the handle on the seat in front of me. Trash bags were hung here and there. Looks like they also provided small bottles of water for us, though we had to grab those ourselves. The electric plugs didn't seem to work, but perhaps the ubs plugs in the ceiling did. Our driver was a great communicator. He set expectations so we knew that we had a 20 min rest stop before arriving at Baltimore, and pointed out things to help us to pay attention and to get back to the right bus. He warned us that given current construction that we were sure to arrive later than what our tickets said, and gave us his best eta given the circumstances. Another passenger later commented that the bus bathroom was clean. We kind of ended up being dropped off on a brightly painted bridge in the middle of no where - perhaps on Maryland Ave?, by a bus stop. A short walk from Penn Station.

Terrible experience! Our group of 32 people waited for over…read morean hour in the rain for the bus to arrive. The bus that finally arrived was a 20-year-old beater. The transmission was bad, the alignment and suspension were shot, and the bathroom door did not latch. The suspension was so severely degraded that it audibly bottomed out on road bumps, causing motion sickness among multiple passengers. The transmission could not maintain speed on inclines, making the journey slow and stressful for everyone on board. The windshield wipers were so worn they could barely clear rain from the windshield (a serious safety hazard). Overhead storage bins would not latch, risking items falling on passengers, and the lighting inside most of them did not work. The spare tires were stored in a luggage compartment and had dangerously little tread remaining. We paid Rally/OurBus for what we were promised would be a newer luxury coach with ample luggage space and modern amenities. Instead, we got an old bus with no electrical outlets, damaged seat upholstery, and a bathroom that reeked before a single passenger had even used it. They sent us a vehicle that should not be in passenger service. When we sought a refund, we were bounced between Rally/OurBus (the broker) and All Aboard Express (the bus company), and now neither company will return our calls. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere!
