We have never left a car dealership feeling like we weren't just taken advantage of- wishing we would have gotten a better deal-until now. My husband is a disabled veteran who has been ill. We went somewhere else first and told them our budget and they told us they would show us what fit our budget. So they kept bringing us the unwanted high mileage cars from the back of the lot and they had no compassion for my clearly ill husbands time or energy. After 5 hours they pushed us towards a used car that was $100 over our budget. A friend referred us to Preston, and we are so grateful! Tom Barrett was supposed to be our salesman but met us at the door and explained he had a cold and did not want to get my husband sick. I have respect for a salesman who passed on a sale to protect my husbands health. So we worked with Tom Z; we told him we were already exhausted with the experience and he promised not to waste our time. He asked us what car we wanted and asked us our budget. Then they had finance try to get it in our budget. Not only did we get a nearly new car but we also got the Gap insurance and the extended bumper to bumper warranty- all within our budget- the same car we came there to buy. I really liked Preston KIA. I have only had good experiences with them to date. I had looked around a lot for a good gently used car for the best price and their deals were definitely the best. The salesman I worked with, Tom Barrett, was awesome! I highly recommend him to everyone. I had been to other places where you get that typical used car salesman persona, and I left, when I went to Preston KIA I was pleasantly surprised to find none of that anywhere. Tom was awesome! He answered all of my questions, gave me copies of things, explained things, made me feel like I was respected and they were on the up and up. I took a car person with me and he could verify everything that was said was true. Everyone else the day of the purchase was friendly and nice as well. I purchased the car March 2018. I have been back for service work twice now and everyone in the service garage has also been wonderful. My experience with Preston Kia was phenomenal!! I needed my oil change and tire rotation for my SUV but things happened and I couldn't find the time to go so I called Bruce Friedman who was my sales rep at the time of purchased and he worked it out for a service man to come to my job, picked up my car and brought it back in time in time for my doctor appointment which was also scheduled the same day. The service man (John Deck) got my SUV back to me in record time which was AMAZING!! He was professional and a pleasure to do business with. I was so impressed with his demeanor that I called and spoke to his supervisor to inform him that John is an AWESOME representative for Preston Kia and my hope for them to do something special for employees who exhibits a work ethic that shines brightly on the dealership. The service I receive is and has always been exceptional. The only area in need of improvement would be having online scheduling truly available instead of the current misrepresentation as you still get a phone call that will try so pressure you into more services and/or an unwanted sales pitch. And last but not least- the constant telemarketing phone calls that I receive sometimes more than 3x p/week. If I want a new car I will surely let you know. Until then, stop calling me. Not sure when it was that you decided harassing loyal customers is a good thing but I'm here to tell you it isn't. The first time I bought from Preston I checked out Taylor Kia in Boardman first and was NOT HAPPY at all with their service, so decided to check out Preston, so glad I did! Great service, their prices are actually lower, they gave me way more for my car than Taylor offered. Just all around a positive experience. We chose to go to Preston Kia in Burton when another local Kia dealership could not satisfactory resolve a concern with our newly bought Kia Sportage. Their response was "that's the design". I had the best experience with Preston Kia, I went in just to look at a 2015 or 2016. I left out of there with a 2017 Kia Forte in my favorite color, blue. I got a rebate and they paid off my 2012 Nissan Versa. My interest rate was outstanding, they let me drive the car home for the weekend and came back on Monday and signed the papers. I was kept informed during the process of how things were going and they finished before the expected time. They picked my vehicle and left a me a loaner so that I could get to work. I was called to let me know that my vehicle made it safe and sound. I had a trailer hitch installed and a remote starter. Was contacted again when the work was completed and given an estimate on what time my vehicle would be returned. I hate, as most people do, getting auto maintenance done. Way better things to do eith my time. But if you need to get maintenance, repairs or buy a car, Preston the place.
