They were hired to remove leaves in her back yard, this is year 2 now they blow the leaves into my back yard through the fence line and also leave a huge pile behind the trees... which will all eventually come into my yard. They aren't nice enough to notice my clean yard and no leaves except the leaves they blew back into my yard and fence line. Do your job and do right by people who actually spend HOURS cleaning their own yard. I won't even bother to call the owner because he doesn't ever call back or come back to make it right. They are the only snowplow we've ever had that would not plow the right side of the driveway when a car was on the left. We have 3 cars, so unless we were at work, there was always a car in the driveway! And even if we pulled up to our garage, they basically didn't plow half our driveway. I don't pay for a plow service so that I can shovel half of my driveway! And in the big snowstorm we had, they came once in the morning. We called them and said we'd move the car when he came back, and he said he'd be there around 3:00 in the afternoon. So we went outside, dug the car out, cleared the windows and got enough shoveled so that we could get the car down the driveway. And guess what...the plow never came back! And it was still snowing!!! If you don't have 3 cars you might be ok, but even on our street there were plows that came more often than they did. We got the names off those trucks and we'll be using them next time. We basically didn't have plow service last year. We just paid for it. :(

They had quite a mess to deal with but they did an amazing job! Jon and his crew were very professional, friendly, and quick, but very thorough in the job they said they would do! Numerous other landscape companies declined to bid the job as it was to complex. Dan and his team created a masterpiece that exceeded our expectations. We gave Dan the direction and he created a design that embraced large natural boulders, fabricated natural stone steps, and our selection of patio surface material. These people are true craftsmen and it is worth the wait to get to your home. They are not the best at communication and responding but I believe they are among the best landscape craftsmen in the area. He and his crew took my yard from looking like no one lives here to picnic and/or camping ready. It looks so good!! From overgrown trees, bushes, knocked down dead trees, and nearly a foot thick of pine needles. I can see the ground, YAY. It looks amazingly beautiful, and was just in time for that torrential rain this past Sunday. Prior to hiring Gil I had a quote from a larger company who has done work here before. He came, gave his quote, said he'd let me know when the following week, but never called to schedule. Instead he texts one day saying we're in the neighborhood, we can do today. I do believe his ego got in the way. Not Gil, came, gave his quote, said he'd be here a few days later at 7:30am, and indeed he was and ready to go. They had a lot to do in the very cold weather and had it done early afternoon. Great service, friendly, and best of all, NO EGO or mess left behind. I will say, other guy's quote was less but that's because he had his own wood chipper. I will also say, last time he did trim a tree, they left a mess and broke one of my ollas (a self watering pot) with no mention. So, not only did Gil and his team get the job done, they did so better than expected and left nothing behind but our firewood. Bigger is not always better and cheaper oftentimes has consequences. If you want really great work with a very professional awesome crew, Gil Funes and his team are it. I am an hour away and he still came up the Cajon Pass and did a remarkable job. Should you want to know the company to stay away from, it is JS Tree Care. I could and should give a bad review, but this will suffice. GO WITH GIL!!
